  2. Because you probably dont love yourself. When you startbto love yourself your heart will open and you then startbto love "others" which is really yourself.

  6. When you let go of an emotion you feel thru the emotion completely without resisting it. Stay present with it and it will run out and dissipate by itself, that is "Letting go". If you resist it and push it away you are suppressing it.

  8. Just keep doing it, at some point you will break thru the fear completely.
  9. Feel as deeply as you can into the the feeling of the fear and keep directing ot there and not on the thoughts. Try to feel the fear as completely as posible. Stay in the fear as present as you can, do this for some time and it will drop away.
  10. Thanks pluto. ? I certainly haven't gone long periods with only fruit and veg, I have tried like one a week many years ago. Don't remember much from it. I eat generally healthy with plenty of fruit and veg. I don't eat that much bread, mostly eat it in rye cracker bread form. Sometimes I eat some wheat. Sometimes I eat some crap food tho, and yes I can feel it doesn't feel so good after, and it have become much easier to stay away from it due to heightened body awareness. I generally feel good and present so I don't think this is a huge issue for me. I focus more on meditation. ? I think sometimes tho too much focus on diet can make people obsessed and neurotic about it and can do more harm then good. And if you tell the body that this and that food is bad for you those foods will certainly be more harmful to you. Not implying that you guys are like that.

I would say I live a quite concsious life, and I don't think some wheat is so bad. At least not whole wheat. ? Haven't noticed any dulling effects or similar personally, but yea it's not a very nutritios food.

  14. Yea it's a good thing, stay present with this shame when it arises. The heat means you are burning up stuff that is not needed, that's my experience at least. I experience more heat in the core of the body.
  15. Seems to me you are very attached to this idea of success equalise happiness. And as you say yourselves you are convinced that this is the way. Well it's not really true, if you only chase success and believe that once you gained enough you will be happy, you will never be happy. You will always need something more to chase. Contentment in just being itself needs to be there as a baseline. By all means get some money and live a decent life, but it won't be enough if you are not content with being. You being here at all is an amazing miracle. You seem to hate yourself, try to give yourself some love. ? Try to be nice to yourself and tell yourself you love yourself. Do some loving kindness meditation. Seems your parents have given you a hard time and probably lots of your beliefs come from there. I would suggest reading "the tao of fully feeling" by Pete Walker. It deals with healing from parental stuff. Also read "Letting go" by Richard Dawkins. It's just a great book for everything. Also, what kind of meditation are you practicing?
  16. Personally I see nothing wrong with coffee if you have a low consumption. Too much just make me jittery, not a nice feeling. One coffee in the morning before meditation feels great for me. ? Used to have 3 cups a day, now I find one in the morning is the best.
