  1. That may be true, I think part of it is public confidence has been destroyed over the years with cereal companies marketing sugar as a healthy breakfast and the entire united state food pyramid scandal.
  2. Do you have trauma, resentment or where hurt in a past relationships with a girl you fell in love with and now you don't want to get hurt again?
  3. @Princess Arabia Ops haha, sorry about that, yes I quoted by mistake. To quote a section highlight the part you want and click the "quote" button that pops up.
  4. @thenondualtankie Its more about waking people up on the forum who are not exercising and refuse to.
  5. Most people don't have the time to do this and have no idea what overall direction the majority of evidence points to or the quality of that evidence. They also have no idea who knows this, cant trust professions and need to come to there own conclusions or else have there life destroyed by putting there health in the hands of the wrong person.
  6. @Thought Art Is it possible for the government to put laws into place that would of protected you from making the decisions you made?
  7. One interpretation is that heaven/hell are metaphor for your state of mind. You can view the present moment as hellish or heavenly, its a matter of perspective.
  8. @Kalki Avatar Have you tried dating women over 30 and who spent time doing self-development work?
  9. Im sorry to hear that, do you think there was a way that could of prevented this situation?
  10. Thank you that was the answer I was waiting to get. Its very convincing logic and I see no reason why there criticism isn't valid. Its perfectly clear now how data focused approaches construct there paradigm. I'm obviously not going to play this game. I was not using that video to prove I was right, I linked the video to see what you had to say about and I personally don't think prescribing a statin to everyone at risk is what these studies should be used to justify and that opinion has nothing to do with studies or the paradigm of evidence derived from studies. I see studies as one possible perspective and not evidence and not a treatment strategy. I think the logic sequence in the debunking video is highly convincing and therefor that thinking process is a massive blind spot, I have no idea what that blind spot is its just intuition.
  11. The video covered it. With most of these studies they show a risk reduction in one decease like coronary heart disease vs placebo group but both groups had a similar risk of death from all causes. Meaning it did not improve the quality of there life or health, they avoided one disease and suffered another. No, he's not the only one talking about this and if that study became popular then you must have a good reason to reject it, id like to understand that. I'm getting the impression your closed off to most perspectives that are "obviously" wrong from a pure data oriented approach. The trick would be the data is misleading and counter-intuitive, it logically all checks out and its not obvious why its wrong. Instead of focusing on data, look at the results practitioners are getting. What are your results, how is that data being tracked?
  12. 0 interest rogue crypto loans is where its at now a days.
  13. Guys I'm not saying your practice has no value, of course you've helped people, but that guy prescribes a statin a day and tells me his patients all have fantastic results. I'm more interested in a more balanced view that some improved, most made no progress and some got worse. So from there I'm saying he's trying to prove he's right instead of the truth by cherry picking results. Most doctors focus on the things they have a good track record of success and ignore the areas they don't have much success and point to "we are doing the best we can with the data with have" with out questioning there epistemology. @undeather Explain why these studies don't change how you feel about statins?
  14. There is nothing better to replace it with. When your 100% focused and passionate about what your doing your less likely to be distracted.
  15. Ye the double standard is set by biology. lol
  16. I don't believe you. I think your focused on being right and that's more important then the truth.
  17. - Having sex and getting comfortable having sex with someone over time releases a huge burden, its an important milestone for self-development. - No girl wants to date a virgin unless there both young in high school. Past that point in development they want a guy who knows what they are doing. - People who have pride over how many people they slept with is a game they are playing to get validation for self-worth. There self-worth is externally verified by material worth. --- The issue I'm getting is men think like men and don't get the female perspective. Its ok for a woman to be a virgin over 25, its not ok or attractive for a man to be over 30 and a virgin. There is a double standard baked into this.
  18. That's probably the right move, but on the other hand do you really want to date someone like that? Sound exhausting. Girls like her get 100x message a day from guys constantly, its not the same situation.
  19. @undeather The problem with veganism is a lot more them B12, my comment is not about B12. How many people have you successfully threated and how do you know they are healthier with your intervention? Every doctor will point to there diploma to deceive them selves into thinking they know what they are talking about.
  20. @undeather The assumption is B12 needs to be taken everyday. Why are you so confident that you know what your talking about? --- The point of the post was to signal that its ok to be vegetarian, also eggs and milk have nutrients that they are not getting from supplementation, I wasn't focusing on B12. The b12 problem looks pretty bad I didnt realize how little of it was inside eggs and milk, so it makes sense to supplement your right. But its also unlikely a b-complex is healthy.
  21. I'm not seeing why eating an egg and drinking milk once a week isn't good enough. It beats all supplementation and meets the moral requirements. If we learn from the experiences of other vegans, they always go back to some sort of animal product after years of issues. Fools never learn, the smart learn from there mistakes and the wise learn from the mistakes of others.
  22. That's tinder. Pure superficial ONS culture. Each one caters to a different audience.
  23. Another component is Anger is a state issue caused by biological issues. Most people with chronic anger problems have a body that is under constant stress that effects the mind. Leo has demonstrated he is not immune to the mood issues caused by his health issues.
  24. You where right, I was putting maple syrup on them and it played a big role. With out the maple syrup i dont feel as good eating them.
