  1. He has a sleeping disorder… his problem is not that he has bad sleep hygiene habits. Yes, he 100% has bad sleep hygiene habits and should learn to avoid that but they’re not the cause of a sleeping disorder. You can sleep no matter what you do during the day no matter your circumstances maybe it will slightly make it hard for you to sleep. In the end of the day, you do not have a sleeping disorder. Normal people can sleep no matter how they sabotage themselves. Because they don’t have sleeping disorders. In Trenton’s case, he literally cannot fall asleep. It doesn’t matter what he does during the day. It doesn’t matter what he eats it literally nothing matters. He could be exhausted out of his mind with the highest state of adenacene production, and it will not matter when his head touches the pillow his brain will be hyperactive and he won’t be able to sleep. Because like I said something is stimulating him. His hormones are all messed up. Because he is in such high sleep deprivation he is of course stressed about sleep and has a bad relationship with sleep, and all that has to be solved specifically and only by sleeping more. Nothing else can change the mindset. I’m going to create a website to help people with sleeping disorders in the future for now I have other things I have to do.
  2. @Human Mint I learned the stuff in that book the first year I developed a sleeping disorder. That was 15 years ago , Its all very common knowledge. Good sleep hygiene. And this approach precisely is what everyone tries to teach you when you have a sleeping disorder and what precisely does not work. It doesn’t matter what temperature his room is it doesn’t matter what he ate(unless he has a sensitivity to it). It doesn’t matter when he ate. It doesn’t matter if he’s wearing a sleep mask, none of these good sleep hygiene tips help people with severe sleeping disorders. This stuff is for normal people to maximize the quality of their life and I 100% agree with that. and unfortunately, it’s for normal people to think they know what a sleeping disorder is and how to fix it with cookie cutter answers. And so you get psychologist and doctors that have no idea what they’re talking about… they waste years of your life, pump you up with drugs and think this is somehow solving something. And I’m sure you know based on reading the book that these drugs only make your sleep quality worse. Then why are they being used? Because there’s a sleeping disorder. And the goal is not to maximize the quality of sleep. Trenton should learn the stuff in that book, as a foundation, but this is not a foundation for sleeping disorders. It’s like reading a book on how to maximize muscle gain when you have a broken back from a car accident. Trenton basically broke his back is in chronic pain, but you guys are recommending that he does high intensity squats every day to recover. Lol The stuff I wrote goes beyond what the establishment is teaching people and specifically designed for people with a 5+ year sleeping disorders that no one can solve. but I 100% agree that Trenton should experiment with all of these things to see if they’re going to help him or not. Don’t take my word for anything, verify everything.
  3. I’ve been in the exact same situation, I even have a sophisticated autism diagnosis by multiple professional. I’ve been diagnosed that it was all in my head 100 different ways. And in the end, it just wasn’t. I spent all my time learning everything about psychology, spirituality enlightenment, trying to enlighten myself into sleeping… I went from sleeping an hour a day to sleeping as long as I want. So I feel your pain. Doctors and psychiatrist just don’t know anything about this, it is very difficult to think outside the box. And for something like a smell to cause sleep deprivation is way beyond the box. To add to this, I wanna give you some other techniques that you probably have not heard of and they’re simple so these will probably help you even if you’re getting stimulated by chemicals and food sensitivity. 1) go to settings on your phone and set white point to the lowest amount for bedtime, you can set this automation, so it automatically does it at night. 2) go on YouTube and listen to stories with your phone off just with audio, this will significantly help you distract yourself and will always lead to “dozing off feeling”. Because it prevents the rambling voice in your head long enough for you to relax. 3) eat a huge meal as your last meal of the day: this is always critical, normally you’re not supposed to do this because it makes your sleep quality worse, but in this situation eating a large meal will change your hormones and cause sedation. In extreme scenarios, I would eat a bunch of bread when I was desperate enough, and that would knock me out. This works because it changes your hormones and that’s the whole problem, your hormones are stimulated by something. NEVER go to bed hungry, this is the worst thing you can do with this condition. 4) the best deep breathing is yawning. You can forcefully induce a yawn if you know the trick.. and the reason this is useless because no matter what’s going on if you can forcefully do this it changes your hormones. If you could back to back stimulate a yawn it will significantly help you relax. But this isn’t a guaranteed thing. It’s just a good technique to master. You want to hit a solid 10 yawns in a row. I have more, the issue is there’s so many traps people will tell you to meditate and do all these things and it does not work at all when you’re being stimulated outside of your control. Meditation is basically impossible. It’s like meditating while someone is stabbing your leg. You’re meditating while being stimulated by chemicals that cause mental noise.
  4. Yes, toothpaste is toxic, but you don’t have to worry about it too much because it’s not in the air while you’re sleeping. It’s possible you also have food sensitivities that can keep you awake. This might be a lot easier for you to experiment with because all you have to do is an elimination diet. For example, avoid all gluten for a month and see if that improves your sleep quality. YouTube is the best resource, search healthy living, healthy lifestyles. All the advice is fairly solid as long as you don’t go to extreme. Continue eating meat, continue eating vegetables, continue eating fats. Eat balanced, use healthier versions of every product that are not produced by greedy corporations. Breathe clean air. Exercise at least 30 minutes a day solidly. Ironically, for people who have a sleeping disorder following a healthy sleep routine doesn’t work. For example, the book recommended in this topic does not help people who have a pre-existing sleep condition. It’s good to maximize health but if you already have a problem, then you have to resolve and figure out what the problem is. And if you follow a bunch of sleep rules, it generally makes the situation worse, because you’re overthinking sleep, and you’re not addressing the core issue. The issue is your body is being stimulated by something and it’s not all in your head. You do not have a mental disorder.
  5. All of that stuff is scented. You need to purchase un-fragranced products; "unscented" products often have added fragrances (avoid). The safest bet is to avoid all of that for now, wash yourself carefully with water, and be thorough. For body odor, you could put baking soda under your armpits; this is the safest solution. The main ingredient in many deodorants is baking soda, so instead of using deodorant, just use baking soda directly. You just put a bit on your armpits, and it destroys all smell for about 3 days. The other issue is the laundry machine you're going to use is going to be contaminated. So you cannot use that machine. In the worst case scenarios you wash your clothes in the bathtub. I know this all sounds extreme, but the issue is society is completely ignorant about the hormone blocking effects of all of these chemicals. We live in a toxic environment. If this turns out to be your issue, moving out, securing your finances, and living independently will become much easier. You'll be able to sleep like a normal person, work, and engage in activities as a normal person would. You'll get your life back. I'm developing a product that involves a tube placed outside the window, which pumps fresh air into a mask you can wear while sleeping. Unfortunately I haven't begun production yet because I'm working on another product.
  6. Yes, inhaling certain scents can cause you to be in a chronic state of stress, and your brain cannot shut off. I spent 12 years trying to figure this out with the exact same symptoms you have, and mine also started when I was a child but got much worse around age 20-35. The scientific community does not fully understand what multiple chemical sensitivity is. The way to make sense of this is through experimentation, not just reading labels of symptoms. Trying to figure things out by reading labels will cost you the next 10 years of your life. I get no other symptoms from multiple chemical sensitivity except for brain activity. It causes stimulation and prevents the body from relaxing and the brain from turning off. The moment you stop inhaling all of that stuff, your whole body will instantly relax. You’ll be in shock and then you’ll say to yourself, “It wasn’t all in my head. I’ve been lied to.” What you’re inhaling causes stimulation because you’re sensitive to it. I know it’s hard to believe, which is why I mentioned you might not take it seriously. Scent appears innocent, but it’s not. For people who have an allergy to flowers, their main symptom is just dizziness. You don’t need to get rashes or other symptoms. In our case, it causes stimulation. You have to avoid everything. No detergent besides vinegar and baking soda. No scented candles of any kind. No cigarettes or vape. Wash your floors with vinegar or just water, nothing else. Dishwashing soap, laundry soap, all of that has to go. And this is very hard when living with someone else because they are heavy users of every possible scent. It is deeply rooted in our culture for the past 100 years and marketed into our culture, all these scented, toxic chemicals. Your sheets specifically have to be washed multiple times with water before you get everything out, and even then, I had to throw mine away and buy new ones. All your clothes have to be re-washed. Just having your clothes in the same room with you can trigger your sensitivity. This is hard. Removing all scents is actually very challenging and can be a massive derailment of people’s lives in some cases. Ideally, you need to live alone, but I assume you’re struggling financially because you can barely sleep. And I don’t blame you. I did the same thing.
  7. You likely have multiple chemical sensitivity. Everyone has it, but some people it affect their sleep and destroys their quality of life. If there’s a scented candle somewhere three rooms away from me it will severely disrupt my sleep and if I try to sleep in an environment that’s heavily scented it causes severe sleep deprivation and chaotic voices in the head. I’m telling you this because no human will ever tell you this and you’ll never get this answer anywhere else. No doctor will ever explain this to you and you’ll likely never figure it out yourself. laundry detergent that your bedsheets are washed with destroy your quality of sleep, and if your sensitive prevent sleep. The list of things that need to be removed from the house are too long for me to put into this post, how this works is you need zero exposure. Someone with a peanut allergy requires zero exposure to peanuts. You require zero exposure to sent of any kind, especially flowery sents. The probability that you’re taking anything I’m saying seriously is very low, but I can assure you this is very serious and likely the cause of your issue. Sent disrupts hormones and is psychoactive putting you in a state of high cortisol while you’re trying to go to sleep. This is what causes your brain not to be able to shut off. But there is a exact opposite thing that could happen that some sents cause sedation and cause you to fall asleep immediately, the issue with this is it’s the disrupting your hormones in a way that causes you to be very very tired. That sounds like a good thing but it’s not cause your body does not recover at all and you could sleep a lot with zero recovery and then you start having kidney pain as well as other kind of issues. A lot of people have morbid obesity and a bunch of issues because their breathing hormone disrupting Air while they sleep their entire lives. It just doesn’t prevent them from falling asleep like in your case.
  8. lol those are rookie numbers in this bracket. Got to pump up that suffering if you expect results from this line of work. I did 12 years, of unimaginable depths of despair sleep deprivation. And then managed to figure out what was causing the problem and resolve it.
  9. The Trump shooter seemed to be able to dream bigger?
  10. They just want their anger and hatred fulfilled without doing any real work to get it because they have no energy and want to die as quickly as possible. There so miserable, they can barely breathe air, life is unbearably uncomfortable..
  11. Can someone explain to me why a school is appealing to their fantasy?
  12. She stated in the manifesto she wants all males to die… OK… then maybe kill Andrew Tate? Seems like a solid candidate? He’s the leader of toxic masculinity, the perfect target! A school feels like the least interesting or appealing thing to target? How can that possibly satisfy you? How can these people be satisfied with such a mediocre target? Have a bigger dream?
  13. Maybe this should be in video format. Start a YouTube channel for political commentary?
  14. His threats against Canada are very disturbing. The way he talks, it's like he wants to invade Canada and merge it with the United States.

  16. Glad you loved it . Its all up to you, become a member of the school board in your area and introduce new education policies.
  17. @Hardkill The only realistic solution is for the government to set up laws that prevent people from making bad financial decisions. This will protect people but more importantly make it so large companies cant keep getting away with leaching off people. 99.9% of people think a 5% mortgage is a good idea, have no idea what an asset is. Its hopeless if every is ignorant to this extent. People don't know that if you own a house (fully paid no mortgage) you are on the verge of retirement. Very little needs to happen after that. But they have absolutely 0 financial intelligence to do the math, 0 strategy. So they feed the rich there entire life.
  18. @Hardkill But it's different for points to go up and for those people to align themselves with MAGA specifically. Not every Trump voter is MAGA.

  21. The Critical Window of Cognitive Adaptation Early exposure to digital technology helps children's brains develop stronger neural pathways, similar to how learning music at a young age enhances musical skills. By interacting with digital tools and technology from an early age, children build more complex and adaptable thinking patterns that can improve their problem-solving, learning, and technological understanding.
  22. Let's break down the metapragmatic dimensions of this text: Performative Aspects: - The text is performing a complex social critique of gendered sexual expectations - It's enacting a form of knowledge-sharing that challenges dominant male narratives about sexual access - Uses metaphorical language (Confederate money, water) to reframe sexual dynamics Social Negotiation Mechanisms: - Attempts to create empathy by translating women's experiences into male-comprehensible terms - Deconstructs male fantasies by revealing their experiential hollowness - Positions the speaker as a knowledgeable, nuanced interpreter of sexual social dynamics Legitimation Strategies: - Draws on personal observation and social network experiences - Uses comparative reasoning to normalize sexual interactions - Presents a rational, demystified view of sexual encounters - Implicitly challenges toxic masculinity by presenting sexuality as a social skill, not a conquest Implicit Power Dynamics: - Critiques male objectification and lack of perspective-taking - Suggests emotional intelligence as a more valuable sexual capital than physical prowess - Reframes sexual interaction as a social negotiation rather than a transactional exchange The text is not just describing sexual dynamics, but actively intervening in how those dynamics are understood and performed, using personal narrative as a rhetorical and analytical tool. Your secrets are no longer yours. 😊
