  1. @Leo Gura How do you view intuition after your 30 day awakenings?
  2. Hey guys, I find that I can sometimes intuitively know if an interaction with a person will be good or bad beforehand. Several times I have had a feeling that an interaction will go negatively beforehand. This feeling doesn’t really have a logical basis to it. I use to ignore this for obvious reasons like I might be subconsciously judging people based on skin colour, gender, etc. without knowing or it might be my mood swings because it’s not logical explainable. But as time goes on I am finding this feeling to be more and more true. I find I can more or less intuitively know how I would connect with a person. So, I wonder if any of you intuitively know how an interaction with a person will be beforehand? And how you separate that from subconscious self-bias? (I didn’t know which section to post this in. I am talking about intuition so I decided I’ll post it here and not in DRS. I don’t see posts like that in DRS.)
  3. @Identity I think many actualizers may have “I am different from everyone” mindset. That explains all the “conspirituality” that’s going on. They may be more likely to believe in “spiritual sounding” ideas like healing crystal, seeing energy, chakras, etc. Even when it’s not in their experience. Not saying that stuff is true or false but I would say people here would be more likely to accept that stuff.
  4. Maybe if you are over analyzing you are stage orange ? ?.
  5. @Nahm Hmm, okay. I feel like I’ve gone through this ‘realization’ before but I forget it. I’ll write “let go” on the wall to remind me.
  6. @Nahm Okay... what about letting go of survival instincts which are deeper than thought? Are emotions included in feeling?
  7. @Nahm So keep letting go till you become aware of consciousness? But you can be more or less aware of it.
  8. @Nahm How do you keep a consistent baseline consciousness? I keep losing ground, sometimes aware sometimes not so much.
  9. Happy Birthday Leo! You have changed my life forever. I wouldn't be where I am without you. I hope you find success in whatever you are pursuing.
  10. @UnconsciousHuman Nah, I said what I had to. That's it.
  11. @Anna1 In your opinion... Plus that the vocabulary Leo uses in his video on fear if I remember.
  12. In a way it's the same, the fear of pain is the fear of the death of your comfort zone (which is no pain).
  13. Yes, that is true. I would say that love/consciousness is perhaps the most important line and greatly effects all other lines. From one POV it's the only line. I was also pointing out the link between consciousness and self-bias. Maybe I can explain it. Say we have two people on an arbitrary love/consciousness 'line', one is 5% conscious and the other is 10% conscious. The person at 5% may not know that they are at that level, may not know other levels exists, and may not recognize the other person as 10%. It's a catch 22. Sort of like how hardcore rationalists don't know consciousness even exists. So self-biased you don't know you're self-biased. In this case the human is like that kangaroo who can't get out of it's situation. It just has to click; hope that it clicks. Ime, something like a cold-showers, psychedelics, meditation, etc. help break the catch 22 and reveal new things in consciousness. Reminds me of this quote: "You can't think your way into right action, but you can act your way into right thinking." - Bill Wilson Sorry, perhaps I derailed the thread. I was merely pointing out the possibility of self-bias.
  14. @UnconsciousHuman Oh well, I’m just bad at explaining. I was just pointing out that as you move up the spiral your capacity to Love increases: your consciousness or understanding increases. People lower on the spiral don’t just lack conceptual understanding but a more visceral understanding which is beyond thinking. That’s why thinking won’t necessarily move you up the spiral. Sure, but it’s primary concern is values and behaviour. “Spiral dynamics is fundamentally explaining humans values and motives,” - Actualized Textbook
  15. @UnconsciousHuman Your level of being and your values are connected imo. Look at it this way, you wake up one morning feeling groggy. At that moment you value staying in bed, sleeping, watching porn, jerking off and eating junk. Then, you force yourself out of bed to have a nice cold shower. After the shower you fee amazing. You value looking forward to the day, working hard, improving your life, and meeting your friends. It’s not just a conceptual shift. You are a different person energy wise and consciousness wise. Your values and desires have changed. I would say you have moved up the spiral a tiny bit.
  16. There's also a deeper level of self-bias where no amount of investigating or contemplating will reveal it to you. I mean, you would have to increase your consciousness via psychedelics, meditation, breathing, concentration, etc. to become conscious of that bias and transcend it. I say this because in order to access tier two stages we need to take that into account. It's not that lower consciousness does not know, it's that it cannot know and doesn't know what to know. A catch 22. A kangaroo no matter what it does cannot access levels of understanding a human does. Similarly, e.g, a stage orange person might put himself as orange on the scale but look at yellow from an orange perspective, without realizing he has a perspective. So orange's concept of yellow is wrong without him/her knowing that it's wrong and the only way it can be corrected is by a shift in consciousness. I'm just pointing the role of consciousness in all this, which according to me has the biggest impact on spiral dynamic stages. If we realize the importance of consciousness we can possibly get people to 'value' it more, so they can cultivate and increase it. Talking more about consciousness and connection with being in addition to thinking and emotions can be beneficial.
  17. The problem with self-evaluation is that it will likely be self-biased. That's one of the limitations. Lower consciousness individuals don't know how unconscious they are. They don't know what they don't know. Maybe this test can be useful in thinking about these aspects of life more deeply.
  18. Seeing all the complains regarding beautiful people, I’m like:
  19. In short, these problems such as jealousy will autocorrect as you become more conscious. I would say focus on your consciousness because that’s the only thing worth pursuing. Sure, other things can support you in this. Know that it doesn’t matter if other people have it, it matters if you have it. The thing about Truth is that you suffer if you’re not aligned with it. You can play millions of tricks but none will go along with you in the end. It’s about values, if I valued sex, money, etc I would probably be jealous of the rabbits too. What matters for me is consciousness and once I got enough consciousness I realized life is a single player game. What matters is how I am.
  20. @Leo Gura How come India is the only culture that talks about this stuff, other cultures don't even have the vocabulary about this stuff?
  21. @Leo Gura He also mentions there are ways to retain mahasamadhi while still being alive. I think he said you need a strong worldly desire and not cut hair. Do you think Indian culture is more spiritually developed than other cultures? I don't see people mentioning "life is imaginary, mahasamadhi, etc. in other cultures".
  22. @Leo Gura What happened to 'isness'? Reality just 'is'. Where did this 'reality is love' come from?
  23. Lol, you have to look at our opposition leader Rahul Gandhi. He single handedly turned India into a single party state. He's not stage red but he's so incompetent it's funny.
