  1. It would probably not be a good idea for both of them. Leo is too radical for the mainstream. You cannot discuss spiral dynamics in the mainstream, you will be called a liberal hack and not one will admit they or their religion is lower on the spiral. His criticism of science makes it worse. They would get more hate than love for doing it. It takes a certain level of implicit understanding, prior experience, curiosity, and open mindedness to take Leo seriously. Most people, including Joe, don’t have that. Most people listening to Leo don’t understand what he’s saying, to understand they would need to experience it for themselves. Besides, Leo isn’t a celebrity, writer, scientist or in the mainstream, Joe is not going to invite someone who isn’t on the mainstream, specialty not a medium sized youtuber who makes hour long videos about woo woo topics.
  2. So just a thought, do you think stage blue, moralist religion come back? Since we are seeing a rise in the right wing around the world and imo I just don't see people handling meaninglessness very well. People will revert back to the safety and structure of religion because they are too afraid of freedom imo. Do you think moralistic people will come up with more rules and ban our porn and tell us what to wear and what to do? Or do you think world will be more 'liberal', more free and the right wing rising is a temporary thing? I fear it will revert back to dogma and belief rigid belief systems because it provides psychological safety and people crave that nowadays. What do you think?
  3. @4201 Sadhguru is a bit of a hypocrite and not being transparent on this topic. Probably due to social reasons. There is a video of him drinking cobra venom... In one article he says, “Consumption of mercury is very much a part of yogic practice”, and “In the South, we have temples where the idol is made of nine deadly poisons. They are called navapashanas. A cocktail of poisons together become very healing and medicinal in nature. It is a very deep science of how to convert visha into amrita – of making a cocktail of poisons, which would instantly kill you, but instead it nourishes you. People consume the water that runs off these idols and it is very healing. But slowly the deity wears out. Generally their lifespan could be anywhere between hundred and fifty to two hundred years depending upon the size. Slowly they lose their shape and form because every day as water falls on it, it wears out and people are drinking it up, taking the Divine in.” This is the article: https://isha.sadhguru.org/ca/en/sadhguru/mystic/rasa-vaidya It is very common to see yogis in India smoke marijuana or any other drug. Drugs are used in many Indian traditions. There was a video where Sadhguru was talking about how he can give people a drink that could enlighten them or kill them (upon dying they would be enlightened), but I can’t find it now. Regardless, the use “Amrit” or “Amrita” for spirituality is well known in India which Sadhguru agrees. So if we can use mercury, nine-poisons, lingams, and occult practice, why can’t we use other chemicals? Here are some other articles by him: https://isha.sadhguru.org/ca/en/wisdom/article/ayahuasca-parasitic-purging (On ayahuasca) https://isha.sadhguru.org/ca/en/wisdom/article/drugs-and-the-spiritual-path-possibility-or-pitfall (In this one he clearly says it is a possibility to use drugs to awaken) ”So drugs are the lowest possibility, but still a possibility.” - Sadhguru In short, he is mostly talking about recreational drug use. He is very tight lipped about using them for awakening.
  4. The title and the thumbnail speak for themselves. The title is paradoxical.
  5. @Leo Gura You should keep an eye on the Trump supporters .
  6. @Buba This video explains what is value very well. Doesn’t get more explicit than that. Value is an illusion, there’s nothing inherently valuable. You create “value”. Once you realize that then you can consciously live in the relative domain. ? @Nahm Yes, and after you have stopped believing them you can even think the same thoughts again but not feel “bad emotions”. The key is to be conscious of beliefs, assumptions, and labels. You can even “feel bad emotions” but not “feel bad” at a deeper level. Hope I’m not getting too ahead of myself here. But that would be too advanced, to get started you need to be conscious of beliefs. Investigate “why you are feeling worthless?” Write down your thoughts to get to those implicit and subconscious beliefs. Observe the thoughts that make you feel worthless, they will lead you to the implicit assumption. Like, you may have a belief, “money makes people valuable”. Notice that and realize that’s an illusion you made up. So now, you won’t feel “bad” if someone has more money than you.
  7. Would it be radical to say I believe in God? Can’t you hide it under the guise of “oh I’m a Hindu or something” Many eastern religions/traditions directly say God is everywhere and is everyone.
  8. Isha Foundation has a music channel. They got translations too. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCT8M_hDfTRjUbs8hwahZyBA
  9. I find this National Post article interesting, thought I’d share. It seems our friend JP has been in a bad condition. https://www.google.ca/amp/s/nationalpost.com/news/jordan-petersons-year-of-absolute-hell-professor-forced-to-retreat-from-public-life-because-of-tranquilizer-addiction/amp His family flew him to Russia for his treatment because they claim North American hospitals misdiagnosed him and pharmaceutical companies have less influence in Russia (claiming corruption in NA). Here are some cool excerpts: “His conditioned worsened through the winter, Mikhaila said. He was driven to thoughts of suicide by a movement disorder called akathisia, a well known side effect of various drugs for mental illnesses. It is a sense of restlessness and an inability to sit still.” “She [his daughter] said Russian doctors are not influenced by pharmaceutical companies to treat the side-effects of one drug with more drugs, and that they ‘have the guts to medically detox someone from benzodiazepines.’” Maybe his autoimmune disorders have to do with his philosophy and how he holds his body? (This is probably not true, now that I think about it) Maybe JP will realize that “the left” that he criticizes is not so bad. Maybe this will change his view on competition, “freebies”, western culture and free market economy too. I always thought JP was in deep suffering. I think it was and is evident by his health, emotions and his face. His way of thinking hasn’t served him. It’s too rigid and uptight. Feel free to express what you think about this and share any information you have on him that’s relevant. Hope he gets well?
  10. @Leo Gura I wonder if these intellectuals ever read J Krishnamurti and what they thought of him, or do they actively ignore those people? ??
  11. @Leo Gura Oh look, even Zizek doesn’t like his tics. “What is your most unappealing habit? ‘The ridiculously excessive tics of my hands while I talk.’“ Here’s a nice interview: https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2008/aug/09/slavoj.zizek How? ? that’s actually true Lol Apparently there is a feud between Chomsky and Zizek. ?‍♂️? https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2013/jul/19/noam-chomsky-slavoj-zizek-ding-dong
  12. That was more of joke. Okay, maybe I do get anxiety because of his neurosis. Idk, maybe I need to be more open minded and accepting.
  13. @Nahm Did they run away when uncle Zizek started spitting or when uncle Peterson told them to “go clean your room!” ? ?
  14. His lisp disgusts me and his neurosis gives me anxiety. Did anybody watch this catastrophe?
  15. Gulp Yea, he's been a carnivore since April 2018. It seems it has helped his family and many others tremendously. Joe Rogan has also endorsed it. @Serotoninluv Considering your expertise in the area of genetics, what do you think about the all carnivore diet? Here's a video of his daughter:
  16. Especially when people start judging others for their horoscopes, vibrations, auras, energies, etc. Those judgments can hide deeper, ugly subconscious biases, usually but not always. You gotta be careful about whether you’re being intuitive or being prejudiced. That’s why a balance between left and right is usually important, at least in the beginning. The duality between implicit and explicit collapses when one realizes logic it self is implicit. You implicitly know how to use logic. Intuition is such a powerful thing, I just want to get more and more in touch with it. @Leo Gura I think this was one of your best episode till date. This is such an important topic and you covered it brilliantly. Coincidentally I was just thinking about it on the same day as well. Keep up the good work and don’t forget to put this one on your best video’s list.
  17. @Shiva99 The article and the video are from last Friday. He has just come out of an intensive care unit. They flew him to Russia last month. He was writing articles in late November. This is not very old news. We knew he went to rehab but this time he nearly died several times. Edit: I could not find any older source talking about this. Unless you have some other sources it was 'news' to a lot of people.
  18. @kieranperez Dude chill, I don't hate JP. Thanks for your info on psychotic meds. I wish him a speedy recovery.
  19. Yea probably. Alright. Was just asking for curiosity sake. Yea
  20. @Serotoninluv @Leo Gura So why exactly are men having less sex?
  21. No, in my experience, most guys would have sex with most women, yes even the nerdy ones, maybe not the overly obese ones. On the other hand, most women probably would not want to have sex with most men. Guys might not settle with them but they would like to have sex with them. Haven't watched the video though, so ya.
  22. True. Actually I got the idea from you, that some diseases might be psychosomatic, from your body awareness video and I think you also mention it in your stage orange (or blue?) video if I'm not wrong. @Thewritersunion I am the same way If I have a fever or a common cold. I think it has to with you knowing that you can't mess up or otherwise you will feel too tired to work. Having lower energy can make you more cautious about where you spend it and how you use your time. That's good. But JP is usually the resentful one... I guess we can agree to disagree.
  23. So none of the Indians posted a Bollywood song huh. I got a good one, it got Eng. subtitles too. Bollywood is all bout ❤️ guys. ??
  24. Blue. Blue is not bad. Blue people help others, but for very different reasons than other stages.
