  1. We somehow have to talk about it, so don't take the language too seriously. "They" are aware they exist within the illusion, but "they" know there never was such a thing ultimately, it was all imagined.
  2. @Victor Mgazi I'm not here to pretend to know all of the answers to your questions, I promise. ? But I'd say because of false beliefs, like the only reason you believe you're a human is because you believe you were born. You don't have a choice to believe it or not because those beliefs develop your ego and sense of self before you develop even the idea that all of what you were told were lies. In a way, society shapes who you become.
  3. @arlin Yes that's exactly what I was saying. And I was more so speaking of people like Rupert Spira. They don't believe in these things, they are aware of them. They don't care...WHEN in those peak states of awakening. No, the teachings they are speaking of are those of peak states, not the relative illusory world.
  4. @WHO IS Because you have to be in absolute state to be free of all self and ego. When they are operating in the world, they are not in an absolute state. They'd get themselves killed very quickly if that were the case.
  5. @WHO IS They are not in the absolute state all the time. Of course they have to think about survival and other things, like eating and dressing up, and not breaking traffic laws. That's why the highest state one can reach (infinite love, infinite consciousness) is a state, and not an ongoing experience, because you are in a human body after all within this illusion. But you can have an ongoing experience of no-self (no attachment) within the body. They consciously go on a lower level to make these choices, they are aware of them basically.
  6. Hehehe, you bet! I'm not so sure about that, the body definitely needs protein and amino acids, but it probably doesn't need to be specifically "animal" proteins.
  7. Lucky! I'm waiting with excitement for it to arrive. This made me laugh because It's exactly the same for me. This back and forth of the term ego reminds me a lot of what happened with the term self-esteem back in the '60s or '70s. Where psychologists could not find common ground on that term, some even argued that it existed in the first place. Until Nathaniel Branded came and mastered that field. The ego sure would love to find a definition for itself so it can move on to the next problem and keep on escaping its death.
  8. @VeganAwake Leo is not one to half-ass stuff, and I'm sure he did these things. And he still had problems. I'm no expert in this so I couldn't say.
  9. I didn't mean it literally, more like the saying. Many people have tried every diet out there, including Leo. And many of these people can not operate like they should without eating some form of meat, even if it's just fish. I've not tried abandoning meat so I couldn't say where I am on this matter, but I will try it one day.
  10. @zeroISinfinity No, something which is finite can not be infinite. It's a subset of infinity. So within the imagination you are finite, to be here, to exist in the illusion, in relativity, you can not be infinite. But you're still inside of it. So I guess you could say "you are infinite all the time", but its just less technical.
  11. @Billy Shears Some people just need to eat meat. It's just a fact that everyone can't become vegan or vegetarian. If you're having these problems I'd consider switching to something else and leaving morality and judgement out of it.
  12. @Victor Mgazi It's honestly the best way to put it. It just consciousness upon consciousness, layer upon layer, all tangled up, and it gets so lost in its entanglement that it forgets that it was god all along. You are not infinite, you are finite within the infinite because you are "tangled up" in consciousness. I love the way Osho puts it. "When love reaches peak, the lover disappears". He gets untangled.
  13. @Victor Mgazi Reality is tangled up consciousness, when it gets untangled only then do you become infinite.
  14. @Victor Mgazi I just mean reality zooms into itself forever. In a perfect strange-loop.
  15. @Meta-Man I like your gif-style communication. You know what they said 1000 years ago..." gifs speak a thousand words "
  16. @Billy Shears You might be missing some important nutrients. It would be wise to see a professional so he can diagnose what's missing.
  17. Try and see it like this. Reality doesn't have any ground to be at. So everything is just floating in loose air all the time. So all matter is just thought of god which can be zoomed in forever because it doesn't have anywhere to end up where the zoom stops. And it's all one, so it couldn't be anything but infinite. You're on the right path of realizing it though, just be patient. It will dawn on you.
  18. @VeganAwake Yeah It sounds like a fun game. @Dand That's what I'd probably shoot for, I love fish too much to give it up and I always feel fantastic after it. And they are about as dumb as a single-celled organism.
  19. The ultimate escapism is taking part in this forum. We're all distracting ourselves from waking up by taking part in these discussions.
  20. @VeganAwake If I'd show up with a tofurky for Thanksgiving with my family, I'd be stoned to death. I'm from a farming family. ?? But joking aside I'll try vegetarianism one day, I'm very interested in the purity benefits of it.
  21. @zeroISinfinity Reindeer meat is the best meat I ever tasted! ?
  22. Whatever happened to honesty... Nobody here is impressed by how awakened some user on this forum is. Stop with these silly games. Nobody in this thread is fully awake, so stop pretending.
