  1. 8:30 AM Tonight will probably be a trip night so I will likely wake up later tomorrow. I was committed to having reached permanent 5:00 AM by now but it's been a little this busy week so I'll cut myself some slack. I'll be aiming for 5 this week. Maybe it's a mistake being so hellbent on 5:00 AM but I just wanted to give it a try, I enjoy the stillness of the night at that time and will continue to push for it even though it may take a little longer than anticipated. Quitting caffeine has been so surprisingly easy. No withdrawals and I feel more constant energy throughout the day, this marks day 9 and I doubt it has yet to hit me in some negative way.
  2. Amazing! This takes real systematic planning and preparation.
  3. I find this to be too much of tier 1 thinking. I don't choose spirituality because it's "better" than some other path. I just love it, that's why we all do it, love transcends "better". I don't consider myself better than someone who would vote for Trump when I wouldn't, It's just that I've been to a path which led me to realize higher love and managed to steer clear of falling into the devil's lap. That doesn't mean I'm better than anyone, the same goes for choices I make in my life. Only one thing lies behind ethics and that's love. Love is the driving force of all you do and all you don't do. Everything is perfect, all suffering, all devilry, it's absolute perfection. God loves everything equally because it's all him. You judge suffering from a human perspective, but from realities perspective, it has to happen in order for reality to exist. The relative is not separate from the absolute, it's the illusion that makes it appear to be so. There was no separation, it was always ONE.
  4. I'd take wisdom over intelligence any day of the week. Don't stress about this, there are many ways in which you can keep the brain healthy, like omega fatty acids, blueberries, avocadoes, exercise, lions mane mushroom, etc. And I wouldn't mix mind with brain. The brain is that which makes you function in the body and aids your survival. The mind is that which you use to create reality around you and creates the you that worries about things like these. Mind over matter.
  5. 6:00 AM Kinda stayed in bed after waking up, was half asleep till 8:00. It was really difficult to wake up due to my body being extremely sore, since I've just started working out again and I went to bed a little late. I feel like a dead corpse but in a good kind of way. I'm feeling fantastic after quitting caffeine. I haven't noticed any withdrawal symptoms other than having a short temper 2 days ago. After that, it's been fine and I feel like my heart is finally beating normally. I just feel more natural and stable. I could see myself never drinking caffeine again, yet there's no reason to make such a large statement, It would only make this harder. Was expecting this to be way tougher.
  6. @RedLine The universe is evolving to its highest potential expression of love. The lower you are on the spiral, the less love and more fear you have. So in a sense, one could say orange is worse than green relative to where reality is headed. Reality wants to know itself, that's why you created it, it wants to love as much as possible. But if you put all evolution aside, then of course no stage is better than other. It just depends on what lens you're looking through.
  7. @charlie cho It depends on what truth you seek. Science is good for relative truths, but will never manage to quantify absolute truth. This is something the scientific community has a hard time accepting because they rely on "evidence". If you seek absolute truth, the only evidence will be your own direct experience and unfortunately, you'll sound insane to others. What are the questions you wish to find the answers to?
  8. Choosing truth over academic success would be one, even if that means going against 98% of the science community. And curiosity would certainly be a driving force in this field.
  9. 8:30 Was very busy last night helping a friend install some furniture and cabinets, so I didn't get to bed as early as I wished. I've noticed how vivid and weird my dreams have become since starting this wake-up experiment. I assume it's because I'm in my longest REM sleep at around 4-5 AM when the melatonin levels are at peak.
  10. @Rilles Insanity is the norm here.
  11. @Rilles I'm sure you meant to post this in the health section.
  12. It's incredibly important that the EU stays strong and shows support to those who need it, even if that means going against superpower nations. Europe leads the way in getting this world more peaceful.
  13. I've been introducing cold showers slowly back into my life after a long break from doing them. For a couple of days, I've been doing them more and more, increasing the cold each time. The showers here in Iceland get so unbelievably cold and hot because of the geothermal energy we have. Today was one of the days I almost turned the nozzle fully cold and man do I miss doing this every day. I feel so limitless and full of energy, yet a deep sense of relaxation as well. I'll be continuing taking them and going full coldness, I also like to stay under the cold for at least 10-15 minutes. I don't know if that's healthy or not but I feel better the longer I'm under. I'm also on day 5 of no caffeine consumed, and waking up around 6 AM, aiming for a 5 AM routine. To my surprise, I haven't really felt any withdrawals from quitting caffeine. Which is weird, because I've been consuming energy drinks daily for a long time, so around 200mg caffeine daily. Maybe it's because I started waking up earlier at the same time, so my body is so happy being back to its natural sleeping pattern, that it isn't even worried about the caffeine withdrawal. Or maybe it has yet to hit me whilst I'm blindsided.
  14. This is like some green eutopia. Wish every education system was like this. We're not even close to this level here in Iceland, sadly.
  15. 6:00 AM I've started to notice some of the caffeine withdrawals at some part of the day. Around noon is when I get a little tired. I expected to be a lot more tired and groggy, but it hasn't been very hard at all. If I drink some cacao or tea at times when I feel I'd want some caffeine, the urge to just goes away.
  16. That's all that matters.
  17. Microdose of LSD would probably be the best choice available.
  18. 8:00 AM I've noticed that if I'm not getting ready for bed around 10, it gets increasingly harder to wake up at the hours I wish to. Last night I hit the hay around 23:45 and I noticed how hard it was to wake up at 6:00 compared to other days when I was in bed at 10:00. I've got to watch myself tonight with distractions and making sure I'm not procrastinating on sleep. It's been a long time since I've had a proper morning wake-up routine, and I absolutely love waking up early; which is something I would've never thought since I'm a night owl.
  19. I'd opt for this one. If you feel like you start to hit the limiter, then you can always quit the job. I really like Jordan Peterson's view on men wanting responsibility in life by lifting a heavy load. Make life a little challenging, to have some meaning since there's nothing else to do.
  20. Pollan is such a great spokesman for psychedelics.
  21. Have you by chance read Purple Cow or This is Marketing? I'd guess you have. But I wouldn't blame low engagement on it being "too high of a conscious post" for the normie out there. Key with Facebook marketing is to test a shit ton of creatives to see what resonates with customers, and knowing how to structure a brand around it as you probably know.
  22. 7:00 AM Woke up at 4:45. Went back to bed and slept till 7:00. I had the most vivid dreams I've had in ages. I can remember extreme details from them. I took some melatonin before bed, I don't usually take supplements other than magnesium to help me fall asleep. But man does it help, I slept like a baby and woke up fully refreshed.
