  1. No one is off the hook in terms of egoic arguing. NO ONE
  2. He's no master! Every argument is from an egoic standpoint, even if the ego in that case has the more factual standpoint. Arguing requires there to be me vs u! It's kinda scary to see the older one gets, the less likely one could be a true master at life. This shit should start young.
  3. Where does relative vs absolute come into this?
  4. Just do nothing ✔️. And everything Leo said. Stay safe with the Ibogaine though. Drugs are bad Mkay. Only psychedelics used responsibly Is where it's at it seems. I'd say find some local ayahuasca and a trusted guide, but follow all precautions with food and being clean so nothing mixes with the ayahuasca in your body.
  5. @Dodoster London during Christmas was AWESOME three years back. Will visit again in the future.
  6. @Leo Gura is any of this possible to realize sans 5meo, DMT, or endogenous release you think?
  7. @Dodoster http://iamspirituality.com/top-10-ways-to-achieve-spiritual-enlightenment/ Found this the other day. What do you think?
  8. @Leo Gura there's something funny going on here that I've been noticing. We call it Truth, when it tastes sweet. Truth is scientific. The reason the enlightenment doesn't "stick" is because it's not an endogenous catalyzed release. Endogenous is much more powerful. How is it any more true than anything else? There is bias towards calling something true. I'm not really going at you, so its not that necessary for any attack, only discussion. Let's remember K and Bohm. My priorities ARE clear, and I will taste this sweetness.
  9. @Thinh They are all a pain in the ass and never come out right. I want to digitally fill out all the worksheets but it's near ridiculous.
  10. @Leo Gura What's the best way to convert the PDF files provided in the Life Purpose Course to editable word documents?
  11. @Leo Gura How many retreats have you been present at? I'm looking forward to doing many.
  12. What made Leo this passionate? What has Leo done to maintain his creativity? How was it cultivated, nurtured, and sustained? Who are Leo's top three role models?
  13. Courtship still exists whether we respect women or not. Telling someone this will be a 50 50 thing will bring up huge red flags, and probably IS a social red flag, in the beginning. It's all about her feeling comfortable to invest in the relationship as well, and that happens over time. Once a girl is really committed, one can expect many favors from the opposite side.
  14. From a scientific standpoint, it certainly might be able to be figured out. I know of a guy who has a neurological genetic issue that experiences infinity, and has insights on what seems to be an experience of god. He also tries to explain what Jesus meant and the teachings of the Buddha. I think this whole enlightenment thing is more scientific than we know.
  15. @Acharya We would have to study history on this subject probably. It depends what we really mean with mentally handicap as well. "This being the case, intelligence or lack of it is not an issue; make no distinction between the dull and the sharp-witted. If you concentrate your effort single-mindedly, that in itself is wholeheartedly engaging the way. Practice-realization is naturally undefiled. Going forward is, after all, an everyday affair." - Dogen, Zen. Only discussion, no claims here.
  16. This seems far out there. First...it's pretty vague. Second, no Buddhist teacher I've listened to talk about a death mentions this. Where can I find this information?
  17. True. I wasn't saying it was negative. That's probably the most honorable way to die, if there was one. LOL
  18. I pondered this the other day. I wonder how many physically have died going for the kill. I've certainly almost been in some positions where that may have been the result.
  19. Checking out something that would possibly combat that addiction might be handy. Some of the ancient yoga texts and yoga material could give us advice in this area. They are all about sense control and management. I know I need it!
  20. Claims claims claims. Every one has their own two sense. Aren't we after truth?
  21. @Afonso I highly recommend checking out the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali translated and commented on by Sri Swami Satchidananda. It tells you all about steps of building up so this doesn't happen. Very foundational work. The yogis have the process down pat. I can send you my notes, but definitely get the book if you're interested in this sort of stuff.
  22. Study lots and lots of material may be the best option before committing for sure for sure on something. Leo does a good job at exposing us to what's our their. Wikipedia is great too!:)
  23. I'm trying to honor both aspects in practice. Both are probably equally important, dunno though.
