  1. If you are independent of outcome, arrows shouldn't matter. Are you? Veggies make me blast
  2. That must be the truth, sometimes I need my own space, I believe, even though I enjoy socializing as well. As for the issue you have faced with the forum, that's quite something that could happen to almost any member here including me. How easy is it for you to enter this forum? My first idea would be to create some obstacles so you wouldn't run here so easily.
  3. I smell what you did there: "Knawledge is power" says the Tai guy, haha I listened to this Proctor, now I remember who he is. I think the notion about praising the supply is bizarre because many times praise can have the opposite effect and decrease supply – that's where counter-psychology comes in. The law can apply quite universally to pets but not people. All in all the link was still worth the listen though. Veggies make me fart
  4. Right! I now got a better picture of what I originally meant: values = aspirations Whether they're strengths or weaknesses. Also, sometimes it comes off a little hypocritical when someone reminds you of their value, saying that “Mhhhh! Always hire well” but he/she hires badly himself/herself. Nothing wrong with aspiring to catch the bottlenecks though. P.S. Good luck! Drugs and alcohol are enemies of the value of yours.
  5. I will check that Bob ASAP, I finished the book a couple of months ago.
  6. Stress less so you can meditate more, meditating more gives way for wisdom.
  7. If you are in a burning house, would you rescue a friend on your way out; risking your own livelihood? I believe that @Leo Gura effectively puts extra effort to help us get to the paradise with him. Leo would get there sooner if he wouldn't wait for us.
  8. Actualized.org Forum (Seriously, sometimes.)
  9. A horrific scenario in which you do twenty years of prep work only to realize this isn't your zone of genius. Brilliant.

  11. Very good! You have a real plan there. Veggies make me fart
  12. It was during a rainy autumn when we ran this accountability partnership deal with a friend of mine via phone calls on a daily basis: We just ended up witnessing its inefficiency. To put it blunt, we both appeared to have the same problem – bad sleep patterns. Hence in retrospect this accountability partnership deal of ours seemed like beating around the bush, avoiding the actual problem. Of course though, poor sleep patterns are among the hardest obstacles to solve and even the brightest minds of our wide globe struggle with explaining the reasons for failing to waking up at a previously set time. "Go to sleep earlier" hardly suffices as a working solution and as a matter of fact the amount of sleep hours is often irrelevant in comparison to a more meaningful issue: Your own wandering, lost-but-whole mind. Ah, the ramble. What is your experience with accountability partnerships?
  13. I believe that as long as you're not self-actualized, which is forever, you always will need to borrow from wrong habits a bit to succeed. Perhaps the amount of negative choices will become slimmer however as you grow.
  14. @The Son has a point. However, looking at this system from different perspectives: There probably is benefit from a reputation system, since mere spectators (which amount a lot) will thus be able to find the most upvoted and approved individuals' content more easily. Good! Our system forces people not to be their genuine selves but to adjust to some patterns that previous self-help materials have set. Furthermore, this system proves again that a society doesn't function vibrantly with self-actualized people; because workaholic laymen need different motivators like ego, pride, wrath, envy, patriotism, elitism, supremacy or in @Leo Gura's case, a goal of gaining near self-actualization. Leonardo is effectively borrowing non-actualized behavior like workaholism to get there. That's why he still is helping our society. So as long as we are not finished in actualizing (which is never), that long we also have to borrow from non-actualized behavior like doing a little bit of ego-related deeds or alike. Better yet though, a system of tips – "Tip Leo $100 and gain the forum level of Not-A-Monkey." and "Tip Leo's stripper $200 and gain the forum level of Mom Theresa." Fishing for upvotes is bad, I'd like other means for level-ups, please, if any.
  15. Props for the videos, I too am going to bathe in cold now. There is no good reason not to. Veggies make me fart
  16. Keep up with the airsoft business – you dwell in a growing economy. Meditation gets better over the years, the beginning can be very rocky. Veggies make me fart
  17. I find your blog unique. Keep up. Veggies make me fart ?
  18. You can do it! Check my blog too I like your pictures
  19. Hey @Sam, it's not bad to talk about your childhood traumas in itself, you only have to find the right balance.
  20. Glad that you found an effective function, @ElenaO. I recall Mr Gura having said that repercussions aren't the finest option though because like if a fat man tortures himself for every donut, in the long run fats will return. Regardless, I'm sure repercussions can be used in moderation.
  21. That's my sentiment. On the flip side – if you believe positive reputation points don't matter, is it of importance if someone has given you a down arrow either? Goes both ways...
  22. Well @Achilles, if you date you are more likely to shed light on your zone of genius. Mr Gura encourages dating too.
  23. Why is it that each time and every time I've attended a nice weekend conference, I'll just visit home for "quick grooming" or whatever and then get stuck in home so bad that I start expressing all kinds of escapism including now, yes, the Actualized.org forum instead of going back to an amazing event? There can be a teenage trauma potentially behind it. On the flip side I get many secondary deeds done this way, but it isn't enough to justify this behavior of mine I think. I want to fix this.
  24. Reputation creates comfort which in turn will make them want to come for more eye-opening tidbits posted by good-spirited individuals. Discomfort is essential for self-actualization but if you already are in a mess in your personal life, you'd rather not create additional trouble for you, by volition either way, until you've settled some previous issues. One can take only so much discomfort at a time I imagine.
