  1. Thank Me Later Thread What types of harm do you do to yourself on a constant basis that you wish, e.g., an accountability partner would help you out of? In this topic, you'll tell us and we'll help you out! Hate us today, love us tomorrow. That's how we roll. Please tell us about your bad habits and fixations first.
  2. You could tell your boss outright while you're eating together that you don't like your work but you need money still. They may come up with something. Say them that you still appreciate the work.
  3. Chimpressive. Wellll you could begin by asking your boss if he/she accepts you doing job-crafting. It's customizing your workplace according to your wishes.
  4. Could you pinch your work hours in half and start exorcising more in gym instead?
  5. Stoning is also a form of violence.
  6. I haven't read that Time article yet but I do think that it's better to build an internal clock than rely on anything else. Some say alarm clocks are bad too.
  7. I think this Hulse guy had some videos on that.
  8. What is Silverback? Assertion is no doubt in the waiting list though.
  9. Good proposal. There could be techniques for it.
  10. Awesome tips @Lynnel! What is your worst breakup? Where is this topic featured?
  11. Reading two books and aspiring to reach riches are two almost unrelated tangents. I have read both and I liked them to be sure, but they alone won't probably make you millions. Unless your currency is Congolese. The solution is to find out your biggest obstacles; they're usually emotional and can include relationship problems in your family or other social constructs. After you have gained mental peace with your relationships, then I believe your prosperity might skyrocket: Easier said than done. Conflict doesn't create new things, it destroys. Sometimes it can be creative destruction though, which precedes new creation. Contemplate what it is for you, but always be considerate. Recognition of problems Active creative destruction Prosperity skyrocketing
  12. I'm sure Leo's advice is on place. How many hours do you rack up per week?
  13. I love the YouTube series Leo Gura is always producing, but to my dismay there has been little-to-no use of the newsletter. I see plenty of potential in it though, for instance I'd like to see @Leo Gura posting e.g. a handful of profound Forum topics in it bundled with the video, which in my opinion shouldn't be the focus; everyone who orders the newsletter probably checks YouTube every Sunday either way. Aside new topics, what else do you guys and gals imagine should be included in the occasional newsletter?
  14. Umm I don't think anyone dreams of work they hate but I got your point, sir! What kind of work do you have now? The type of work that you wouldn't dislike
  15. Or resourceful topics in general. I also unsubscribed, again, because I don't see much utility for that.
  16. Artists often give leeway for the beholder to decide and see what she or he wishes. Hence Bruno may have been aware that perhaps there will be a guy named after a constellation making his own explanations to his art.
  17. I'll check it out, thanks hun. Veggies make me fart
  18. Hocus pocus, it's time to focus. I believe veganism wouldn't suit me so I'm going with vegetarianism instead. Veggies make me fart
  19. I like you waking up early. Veggies make me fart
  20. Ignorance, inhibition = more peace I'm developing ways to ignore stupid questions. A person I meet on a daily basis asks silly questions and makes fictitious assumptions. Does anyone know some clever responses to such? Now I'm going to meditate a while.
  21. I'm afraid it is vice versa, Brain: You're attached or part of its future for being involved in a thread, but your daily life doesn't anyhow depend on it so you're independent of its course. Our definitions may vary, my man.
  22. Fair enough. Indeed, negative arrow points are that much more impactful because they are extraordinarily rare, hence people will take them more heavily into consideration. (Rare as they may be, they are still on occasion unfortunately abused for toxic motives.) The ratio must be close to one downward arrow to every one hundred upward arrows. Freedom of outcome is remarkably important nonetheless and I hope you'll reach that for your own well-being @Brian Greendahl! I shot you with a descending arrow to the knee now. How do you feel? Crucial story about outcome independence: http://pickthebrain.com/blog/need-outcome-independent
