OmniYoga replied to winterknight's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@winterknight 1. how does it relate to the present? isn't enlightment about that ? (being NOW) why past is still important 2. how does it relate to the ego/personality and concept of no-self , from my understading there in nothingness at the core, pure emptiness, so why does past ego/personality still matter - if it needs to be dissolved -

@whoareyou I feel like we are on the same boat. anyway this topic went way too far than I expected, my intention wasn't criticize or laugh at Leo, (it's not personal) I hope he is not identify himself with his teachings all I wanted was to point out an obstacale, that Leo might manifested when you're so obsses on something you're to close to see that you're digging the wrong tunnel so you're chasing your own tail or the the holy grail, which doesn't exist (a phantom) and you miss the whole point like there is a beautiful carnaval of life outside the window but all you do is focusing on that one speck of dirt on that window, which you call enligthmented (I need this, I crave it - which only creates more resistance) instead of enjoying life now all of the sudden, you need happiness with capital H, you need love with capital L, good with capital G, nonduality - you named a list of new requirements only then you will be worth it, you will be there fuck that why instead of chasing or pursuing enlightenment, like the donkey with the carrot simply just attract it and let it land, let it come to by your way of living and the person you become and not missing a life -
well explained, I coudn't resist to think - he talks about Leo and now go back to straight walking, folks

@Dumb Enlightened aaawww you're caught in words I guess heart will be the closest one you can get at the moment, that is the whole point of spirutally or aweken - transcend lizard brain, biological needs, ego desieres, social conditioning - and see what is there authenthic to you -

@Dumb Enlightened How do you define what authenticity is ? it's a concept, isn't it ? not at all - it's real thing, it's a way of being are you true to your core - or you try to mange and control things - so your ego gets certain outcome you want not easy to put it in words it's one thing you learn in pickup women are more drawn to authenticy and reject fakeness that's why they shittest men problem is sometimes you don't even know what is authentic to you that's why finding yourself is such a big quest you can read Osho - Intimacy if you would like to grasps more about it -
OmniYoga replied to OmniYoga's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Dumb Enlightened how can we know who is real or not ? it's not perfect method but - intuition and authenticity, I guess still the best tool we have even more genuinely would be just being around them 72h and just observe, I guess (maybe not) that time is enough to for the shadow to come up, but unfortunately hard logistically, you would have the a comparison picture to what they preach in seminars/videos/ books etc -

@outlandish nope, yesterday I realized I didn't want to become enlightened in the first place - that wasn't my goal, especially for all the cost - what's the point of it - absolutely none but whit Leo and his marketing I get the idea that this is important and all people should pursuit it, otherwise you're fucking up your life this is the ulitmate goal that everyone should stive for, so his ego impose on me the idea that I need it -

@Tony 845 he is on point, the vast majority either live in the past or future that is the default, social norm - with all the list of requiments "i will be happy when ... xzy, i will be happy if ..., i will be happy ... you name it, and then all of the sudden life had passed and you're dead , it's an art to living in in present moment so i doesn't matter whatever you're enlighened or not, being present to the moment increased the overal quality of your life -

I don't have any feelings or agenda towards Leo, my ego is not evolved in the process - maybe except one - is he genuinely or just a mislead I'm not his fan nor a hater - I'm watching his out of curiosity and open mindness - cuz he have some ideas outside the box and maybe compare what he is teaching with what I already know and other sources so I'm trying to be as much objective as I can, but probably my perception play a role as you said time will show where his path leads -

how do you know you're enlightened? -
OmniYoga replied to OmniYoga's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@whoareyou "Impossible levels of consciousness were accessed that few human beings have ever experienced." yeah - feeling superior to others when the most present and grounded say otherwise it might be hard and painful - but i'm just regular dude - and with persistence and hard work you can get there too -

@David Hammond stop separate teaching from the person you as the person is your teaching your way of life - your day to day behavior that is autentic teaching, that means you embodied that wisdom the intelecutal message, beatiful words and ideas has no value if it's not grounded in reality, just the part of the mind -
OmniYoga replied to OmniYoga's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
well for me the main takeaways was 1. you can not pursuing enlightenment because in that case you're chasing your own tail first time I encoutner this idea in Levels of energy - “sea of consciousness,” or “ocean of energy,” what mystics call enlightenment. But why do some wizards not actively seek out enlightenment? Because they know that’s where they come from and that’s where they will float back to naturally. This is why I do not teach “enlightenment.” Trying to achieve these things presupposes separation from that ocean. It presupposes that this is not your native state, not where you come from, and not where you are going, no matter what you do. To me the countless books and retreats and gurus preaching enlightenment are superfluous. Why strive for something that is going to happen anyway? The only reason millions of people in history have been striving to be something or somewhere else is out of the presupposition that the way things are, the way this planet was created, is somehow wrong, and that the natural order and harmony of things has somehow been disturbed. And so they start struggling upstream again." same with abundance, it's not adding something to equations it's rather removing what you've believed that you're not there 2. you life should be an example on enlightment, shooting a video about your own enlightenment it's bad attempt of marketing -

@Dumb Enlightened how is that different from ignorance, disengagement or apathy? or being numb and dull? have you read american psycho maybe? you can say he was free of mental suffering yet you can't call that happiness either -
OmniYoga replied to noselfnofun's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
I don't know is there such a thing as enligthment but in life I was the most happy when things were going the way I wanted or I was on path that seemed to me relevant and meaningul (sense of higher purpose and that you going in right direction, and you can grow on that path), when you challenge yourself and overcome your own limitations when you've done something that you thouthg was impossible, but that is temporary and fragile cuz life has ups and downs -
does it really works? what speed is possible with full understanding, not skipping why almost anybody can do it? I mean if its so brilliant skill why most people never learn it

how can he dare to w8 so long with insight from 30 day retreat ?
-
I read over 200 books, and my clusion would be if you really want to learn something from that book - you need to reread this book couple times - otherwise you will forget what was there easily ..., so yeah there is no shorcuts I guess, and it's something that people at the top actually recommend - at least they said that in RSD @Krzysztof are you from Poland?

4th session done - time set 41 minutes my mind was all over the place, 0 focus, to the point I forget about the breathing ... I ate too much and I had full stomach - I don't recommend it doing it on full stomach, the breath is shallow it's better to do it being empty something was off during this session I didn't get hyperventilation in feets and hands, maybe because of that shallow breath I can not include this for a successful session

@Markus @MM1988 that is half retarded, women in genral are lacking of self-awareness, + they are indirect, they don't say things straight what was found in pua community through trial and error process is that what woman says logicaly what she wants, is not what she emotionally respond to ... so you gotta be awere of that, and finding meaning bettwen the lines ...

so here I am, listening to Leo talking about creating big powerful vision and in the same I'm having in back of the head contradicting idea about surreding to the life stream river, becasue we are all heading to the same destination anyway, why not go with the flow, and instead paddle againts the stream, becasue pursuit any kind of vision will create massive resistance - that's pretty obvious there is beatiful analogy about this in Levels of energy - F. Dodson, on the other hand vision gives life meaning what are enlightenment people your thoughts about it?
