Abraham Hicks on psychedelics here underneath. 1:15 is a fine starting point which skips the questioners description of her experience on a psychedelic. Abraham Hicks is all about coming into alignment. One of the key points of it is that life is not about not being bothered by things but to create. With a substance like ayahuasca, there is a defocusing of resistance, but in alignment there an increased focus in alignment. So there is a difference -

Because life reflects you who you are/your beliefs/feelings. You don't need to understand that in order for those things to work. Don't you know people who just seem to get everything so easily, so much "luck", while some others seem to try so much harder and don't get the same results? Because you're not some independent entity within life that has to go "out there" and getting the things you want, you just have to focus on feeling good or doing what makes you feel good and then you might excitedly see life conspiring to bring you all the things that are representative of how you feel/who you are. For example if you would focus/imagine how you would feel when you would have that 1 billion, then life will reflect you the things and situations that are representative of that feeling. You might not get the reflection in the form you thought, so don't focus on the content of it, but focus on the feeling of what you imagine having it would be like. -

Often, if you just keep acting on what you find attracting or exciting a lot of fears and uncomfortable feelings will come up. For example you might have a real passion for singing, but may have stage freight, so it will come up and you can work through it by following your attraction. That's one way you can do it -
Thank you for that. Although not the perspective I prefer locking into and hammering all other perspectives down. It was an interesting timing of viewing the video and refreshing feeling

Why do you allow it? But more on topic. what I've heard channeled from the Source Field, through Abraham Hicks, is the following. Firstly, your pain when looking at these images could be bigger than their pain, because you have more contrast because your life is much more pleasant. They don't have that contrast that you do so for them, it might be less painful for them than you may think. For example a highly developed being could look at you and weep tears for you, for the immense suffering he sees (because he has a big contrast), while you might actually interpret your life as 'okay'. The other point raised is that everybody chooses or agrees with the circumstances of their birth, so nobody gets something they didn't themselves chose. Negative momentum and attractions thereof can build up and create highly unpleasant situations of course and create situations that nobody might want, but might be of their own making anyway. Last point that was raised is that even though it is not untrue, that you can find evidence of unjustice, unfairness, suffering, etc. But you always get your belief reflected back to you. So if you focus on suffering and pain in the world, this is what you'll be getting more evidence of. Then it's up to you to choose what perspective you want to look at these things with, which will then create 'evidence' for that in your experience. For example, if you would decide to choose to see them as powerful creators, that have created their own reality, you might find more (pleasant and empowering) experiences reflecting that new thought back to you. So that is up to you -
I was listening and reading something from Elan, a channeled being from Essassani (just like Bashar). He was explaining something about integrity in the topic of 'trusting your timing' (https://elan-teachings.weebly.com/talks-from-r-to-z.html). He went on explaining here with the following part that hit me as relating to the solipsism discussion on this forum: From my understanding of his explanation and also of the discussion on this forum, it seems that perhaps Leo experienced or knew the reality was within him and thus concluded solipsism. From what I understand reading at Elan's work is that, as unbelievable as it may sound, the reality is within every one. How's that for a mind bender

I've heard once that passion is your bodies physical translation of your authentic self/frequency. So then, when you're acting on your passion, you would be most in alignment with your natural/true self Edit: Interesting. At a time where I used to listen to quite some music and play guitar, I got the insight or thought that there was no 'I'. Then the desire to do those things: listening to music, playing guitar (also reading actually) just got removed all of a sudden. I didn't think bad of it however. It felt like some parts of identity were removed and perhaps the reason of listening and making music, etc had some identity involved. I did barely listen (and also barely made) music for perhaps 3-6 years. Now in the recent years I started getting some interest for it again and picking them up again. The perspective and motivation of which I go at it is probably (much) different now. Editedit: okay lol. Lately I started getting some interest in animation (I've done an audio-visual study years ago) again. The thought hit me a week or two ago that I could produce my own music and make animation on top of those.I started playing a bit around with visuals and posting it on YT (still without my own music). I can play a bit of guitar and piano, but what I've never done and find attractive (too) is producing music digitally. Creating for example a bit of shamanic/celestial/cosmic/heavenly music that way. I just listened to your music and appreciate what you made quite a bit and resonate with that. It's quite close to my own preference with some quite slight difference. A week ago I downloaded audio program but haven't opened it yet. I feel a bit bad about having a long learning slope with this program, so perhaps that's why I didn't feel like starting with it. I wanted to share all of this with you as it hit me as a synchronistic event. Editeditedit: Dude, did you make that picture next to that song? I made something like that pretty much exactly the same about 1/2 weeks ago, although that was in animation form(Just rendered a picture/frame of it: https://drive.google.com/file/d/10p8qivhvtMR789ZTJRbx4EgaULzwMV2t/view?usp=sharing) -
I saw this video coming by on Facebook and thought it was fun and interesting. Why I'm sharing it is mostly because this forum is for my idea leaning too much towards some sort of masculine approach and writing these sort of things of as nonesense. This video in my view works a bit to balance that and expand some minds here and there.

The books that I've read so far from the following list: https://www.facebook.com/groups/82990426678/permalink/10157876773356679/ so far all belong to my favorite books. -
There was a piece in Conversations with God where it was said that our world understands the Being-doing-having paradigm the other way around. Copy-pasted: There is a formula called ‘Be – Do – Have’: Most people think that if they Have something (money, for example) only then they can Do (go on a vacation), which will then allow them to Be (happy, peaceful). Yet, it works the other way around. First you want to Be something (happy), then as you are happy you will start Doing things of happiness, and that will bring you to Have something. ‘Be – Do – Have’.

Honestly, I think a lot of this stuff is real (in a sense), but the interpretation and some details might be off. If someone would have told you you were God some years back you might also have had the same reaction that that guy was absolutely crazy and just believing nonsense. I think if you dive into consciousness you should become much more open to other life forms than on earth. For example, Bashar is a channeled alien/extraterrestrial. Why would it be crazy at all to think that you might have had lives (speaking from a linear time perspective here) on other planets than earth? That's what the starseed business is speaking about. Now, aren't you then perhaps being at least as crazy for writing all these things of as nonsense as those who just buy into it? You think somethings aren't possible? -
May I suggest looking at Bashar's work? (https://bashar.org/handouts/TheFormula.pdf). Quite the boss for me in this area, I don't want to live any other way than his insight/suggestions on this
-
boy, do I know what you're talking about lol. Apart from other things, I once got rely intense with both making music and also I did an audio-visual study where I would love most making animation videos. When stumbling on spirituality I pretty much discarded al my former interest and was just about spirituality. Today I was thinking that I would love to make music that expresses certain higher states of consciousness, I thought perhaps I can make visuals with it too. Just keep doing what you love doing, it will come together that way automatically .(https://bashar.org/handouts/TheFormula.pdf)

You might want to check out Bashar's ramble (on youtube for example) on following your highest excitement. Here a pdf version: https://bashar.org/handouts/TheFormula.pdf
-
Yes of course. But the point is as explained by Bashar is that the principle is that what you put out, you get back and life will support and reflect you your beliefs and intentions. So if you act on your excitement, life will give you more of that and also support you in doing what excites you. Bashar likes to call the following your excitement thing 'the complete kitt' or something along those lines, because it is a complete 'method' on its own. So let's say you want to read Leonardo's biography now, perhaps when you finish it you come across something else of him (or someone else, etc) that excites you, and then something else. Before you know it you might get excited to write your discoveries about Leonardo and some other guys on Facebook, then someone contacts you and you discuss and blahblah you get very excited about putting your discoveries on a website which end up paying your bills. Then you might start following another excitement of yours, and on you go. Your life can't pass you by doing that. Because when you say 'life has passed me by, by following my excitement', you're kind of saying that your excitements weren't fulfilled by acting on your excitement. Which is by definition impossible using this method. Not acting on your excitement/joy/passion is how life passes you by. The thing is, is that if you really feel doubtful about whatever your excitement can support you now, it is better to keep doing what you think you need to do to support you in paying the bill or whatever, until you get confident by experience that your excitement can and does support you. I'll tell you that I've never been better as far as I remember since when I seriously started implementing this method, and I've tried a good number of things before lol. I saw you wrote that your apathy was born because you didn't know what joy to follow. It's simple, it's the one that even contains just a very little bit more joy/bliss/passion/excitement than another option. For me that was a couple of hours ago taking a walk, then doing some mantra exercises, then replying this message, etc. Sorry if writing to much, I love this method/insight as it just makes everything good and feel like sharing it much.

I've been saying a lot of the same thing on this forum, and sometimes I hope I don't bore the shit out of people with it. But I'm all for Bashars recommendation/insight to follow your excitement/passion/joy every moment as best you can (https://bashar.org/handouts/TheFormula.pdf). I get the idea that when you speak of your purpose in life you're having the idea that it should be perhaps like a big project or so. However Bashars suggestion is that you're following your life purpose when you're acting on whatever excites you most in any moment. The higher mind is helping/communicating/guiding you, through your sense of excitement/passion. I've been asking myself the question 'what would I love to do most now?' and go do that. If you start out with this now, and you're in a low state as you say you are, you maybe won't come up with something that feels very exciting, passionate or joyous, but seems only a little better than the other options. It doesn't matter, do it, and the ball with get rolling more and more quite quickly. That acting on your excitement is the life purpose Bashar would say. It will lead to wherever you need to be, whatever you need to do, whoever you need to meet, etc in the most fulfilling and pleasant way. I find this method by far the best thing I have ever adopted (as far as my memory can tell).

My perspective on the matter: If you are attracted to the idea of using affirmations, then just chose one that feels good to you. Not much use in taking on an affirmation that doesn't resonate with you. Whatever you come up with, is likely well-tuned to you. So just own the self affirmation business and apply it in a way you like it

Hmm I think you forgot to toss away all your ideas about how life works and what will get you where you want to go and follow Bashars suggestion instead on following your excitement/passion/joy every moment of the day. Just a reminder -

Google and youtube of course. Here is a pdf with the main points https://bashar.org/handouts/TheFormula.pdf Here is a more simplified and story-form version of it: Bashar: "...this is very very simple, you're making it too complicated. When this conversation is over, when this event is over today, you will have a number of options available to you that you could do something about, that you can act on. You can take a walk. You could read a book. You can see a movie. You could have lunch. A number of things. All you have to do is look at all the options and just pick the one that's even just a little more attractive than any other and act on it to the best of your ability, with no assumptions as to what the outcome will be. That's all you have to keep doing, that's it. It's that simple." -

I think you would have a lot of benefit from listening to good old Bashar recommendation of following your passion/excitement/joy as best as you can in each moment. -
@Fran11 thank you for your reply! This line stood out for me. Would you say this forum is a bit unbalanced and could use more feminine, or is it okay to lean towards one side or the other? Much love

I'm curious as to how long/how much you've been doing this and what your experiences with this are. Like, what changes do you experience and how did it shape your perceptions? Any good insights you had because of it?

Thanks. However, I haven't found Bashar teachings to be incomplete yet. The opposite actually. In a sense of course the teachings are incomplete, because you might have a different life purpose than someone else. If your purpose would be, for example, to embody the Buddhas teachings, Bashars recommendation wouldn't give that directly to you. But following your excitement/passion/joy/attraction will lead you to that. So you'll always get exactly what is right/preferable for you and won't miss out on anything relevant for you by following his formula.
