@Surfingthewave Thank you too! Yes god, how easy it is to go with whatever cycle/momentum you, or others around you, currently have. If your friends or family is skillful at negativity, and you're not that practiced in your better feeling state yet, easy to get dragged down a little. Better in that case perhaps to lessen the contact to those and choose things that contains goodness. No need for much struggle and effort to make your life feel much better. -

In reply to your post, I've gotten the idea or sense at times, that perception IS the expression of pure beauty. The more you undo the disortions of perception, the more perception itself feels like pure beauty. Some forms seem to take you to the experience, that you could call beauty, faster than others. Or perhaps you can say, some forms can direct your focus on the reality of beauty better than others, but beauty doesn't seem to be in my sense of things, to be confined to form. Rupert Spira says something similar, that if you come to realise the infinite through perception, you call it beauty, you come to realize it through feeling, you call it love, you come to realise it through thinking, you call it understanding. -

Just adding my two cents here. I've inquired about numerous things, besides inquiring about the self/person. The really first thing I found that when I looked into desire was that I saw, that which I called desire, were actually just sensations. I sat there after I saw this with my mouth dropped for what felt like to be almost a minute. Something I discovered later, and what is a more important insight is that there isn't actually anything that causes one to react or do anything. There is the belief amongst people that there is something which causes you to react. Like you see a cake you crave, and think and thus feel that there is something that pushes you to react to it. Or someone says something that you interpreted as you being triggered, and you react to that, because you think and thus feel that there is something in you that causes you to react. Maybe if you look into it, you find that you thought the feelings pushes/urges you to react, although this is obviously not true when you really look at it. There is nothing that causes you to react, you can see this by simply watching your experience. Once you see/know this, your reactivity, your sense of being pulled, can become much less and you become more tranquil. The whole structure of reactivity, which is what people might also interpret as being (a part of) desire, was felt in my experience to be just like another layer of 'the self', and one you can just see through. Might be much easier once you know there isn't a self/person, not sure if you can really grok it if you still believe you're a person. -
I'm all for following your joy and excitement. If you would go there to fill up a hole inside yourself, then I would say don't. But if you feel excited, enthusiastic about those events or you do it out of your joy, then I would say go at it

The book Conversations with God explains it yes. Also a book from God/Source is 'ask and it is given' by Abraham Hicks. Name says it all. You only have to ask once and then stop being busy with it, because something can only come in your experience when you don't have (much) contradictory energy within you. So the energy of wanting a thing, or the feeling a sense of lack of what you want will keep it (longer) at bay. Ask and then know it's coming and/or do other stuff

I've had similar experiences, albeit less intense. Interesting read:) There were also episodes were I freaked out over evil spirits when I was half asleep and couldn't move. What I learned or heard is that first, there really aren't evil spirits, only immature or confused ones and that secondly you attract them with your own fearful energies. Like attracts like. Be of positive vibration and you're fine. -
There are different forms of sensitivity. I for example have quite some emotional sensitivity, if someone feels uneasy around me, good change I might too. If I look at someone and he/she smiles, big change I smile at least as hard. I don't feel Leo is much of what you call a typical empathic person, who would share this type of sensitivity. But people can be sensitive to other things too

I felt some curiosity to that episode. Do you care to explain a bit how that episode went? -

Actually, Bashar doesn't advice people to just drop their jobs or whatever and just go all out on their excitement if they don't know if it will work. He says, start by following your excitement, but if you believe you need to work, then keep working until your experience with this method has shown you enough so that you trust that your excitement can sustain you and then you can drop the job. Maybe what you think of as 'highest excitement' is not what he means. He means your highest excitement could be going to the bathroom right now. Maybe it's sitting on a sofa next and drink some tea, then maybe you feel best about calling up a friend, etc. The term highest excitement can sound a little misleading this way to human minds because you could think it's this big ass sort of life goal, which isn't how it's meant per sé. And lol to that last line of yours, although it makes me wonder if your notion of the term excitement is a bit mixed up with anxiety. It's an important distinction to make, and knowing the distinction well has had me thinking on it for quite a bit. You could also think of it as 'follow your joy', which I think feels a little easier for most, and then there is less risk of thinking it has something to do with what we call anxiety. -
I very much appreciate knowing Bashars core message. All his teaching are very positive and empowering and put lots of the struggle out of spirituality. Nice that you're sharing it:D

Aligning with, or being, what you already are is not easy?

I listened to a lot of Fred Davis, also read 2 of his books but didn't buy his course. It didn't wake me up, but it had some benefits. I'm just following my attraction, because what you're attracted to is what your belief system is in alignment with, and thus you're most open to receive that. and that sure doesn't seem like a very useful thought to me lol. In this life you get back what you believe, so I would be careful

My thoughts too. Just like a movie, one could get the impression that one scene is caused by another, but of course literally that is not the case. You could cut away the first half of the movie and the rest will just be perfectly fine. Just stories that say one thing causes another -

Oh I've had quite some moments where I would be in what felt like between sleep and waking up, and I had the sense that I was aware of the room I was in (from what we call the wakefull state) to some degree but couldn't move my body and sometimes entities would come and it would freak me out BIGTIME. Like suddenly feeling a pressure on your chest, and hearing your name wispered, and you can't do shit about it. Trying to move an arm with lots of effort, and to keep doing that until enough motion would be made with it until I would snap awake to a decent degree. Then feeling like being dragged back into that trance dreamy state and trying to fight that lol Your story sounds weirder though -

@Salvijus Thank you! Over the last week I saw some things of Mooji again and started to recognize and appreciate him more than before. Watched the video and that had quite a pleasant effect for me, perhaps I'll watch and absorb more of him. And yep this thing has gotten off topic -

I once did a practice in which I charged the 5 elements by doing mantras. Afterwards I was told that I could give initiation in that too, because I completed that practice. They didn't even really say how to do it lol, because just intention to give initiation would be enough to know I think. @OBEler Are you sure the Shambhavi course is given fully online now? Because I did it about 1/2 years back and only the first inner engineering lessons/courses were online, but learning the shambhavi practice + initiation was to be done at a center. If the course is fully online now, then yes I don't see how you would need to worry about that. Initiation with Mooji, huh? Can you tell me about that if you like? Didn't think Mooji would know, let alone even perform, transmissions. What he mentioned about it it, where was it for and what was the process like? -
Waken replied to Leo Gura's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Shambhavi Mahamudra comes with an initiation. I'm not sure if I should tell you but I could invite you on a channel that gives the process for free. However, you won't get an initiation that way and Sadhguru also mentioned that the source you get the practice from is important (IIRC). So it's up to you. I would think though that you'll still get benefit from it and you would be fine (you could simply experiment right), but of course I'm not an expert. If interested you can PM me -
Life is always conspiring to give you everything you want. Every time you stumble upon something undesirable, an unpleasant situation or event, you create a desire too. This desire life then conspires to bring to you. Everything you want is not something you have to do, it is already on its way to you. If you want something, you will get it, unavoidably so. Nothing too hard for life to give you. There is nothing that this physical reality could produce of desires in you, that life isn't able, or isn't going to, give you. All the manifestations of your desires are already going to manifest in the perfect order, the perfect timing. In this life or the next. There is nothing you have to do (that is efforting) to life a life of happiness, bliss, peace, wonder, or whatever you desire. Life is always supporting you 100%. You also always get your own vibrations, your own beliefs, reflected back at you. So life is always supporting you in what you hold as true and what you are being/doing vibrationally. So if you think you need to do effort, to struggle, to get what you want, you will attract circumstances and people that will support the vibrational reality underlining the idea you hold there. If you believe you're a classy guy, a poor woman or a big dick, you'll get that back too. Therefor, you only have to lower your resistance, to let go of the beliefs that aren't feeling good for you. Because your choosing of the thoughts that aren't feeling pleasant or natural to you are the things that create the unpleasant life. But you have an inner being, or a higher mind, who is with you, loves you and is all there for you. It knows all your beliefs that are blocking you from attracting all you would want, knows your circumstances, etc. Considering where you are at and your circumstances, it is guiding you by your inspirations, passions, attractions, curiosity, excitements, joys, etc. By acting on these inspirations, excitements, etc., it is guiding you through the path of least resistance to all your desires, to all that will fulfill you. If you act on its guidance it navigates you around all the obstacles. To you it might seem like this path is going in a roudabout way to what you want when you follow it, but it is the shortest (and perhaps sweetest) path. So the only thing to do is to let go and allow yourself to do the things that make you feel good, whetever that is reading a book in the moment, taking a walk, watching a movie, making a website, etc. and life shall become the stream of ease, wonder, peace, magic, joy, love and excitement you so desire.

The first time I saw that book one or more years ago I felt some attraction for it, but didn't read it. Now I saw that book popping up again like two times lately and still feeling some attraction, so I'll take it that there might be something valuable there for me, so I go read it now. Thanks for the mention

Wishing you the best man! Just wanted to mention the book 'journey of souls' from Michael Newton. He described about 20-30 conversations with his clients with who he did something like regression therapy. It describes what happens after death to a soul and could ease your pain a bit. Just wanted to mention for in case you would be interested in that.

For me, when I live with one of my parents, I fall into a lower state of energy. For a large reason because I'm not fully comfortable doing my own thing. So I prefer living alone over that. I don't have a big need for many people or friends around, and am quite a lot alone the last years. But now I'm lightly looking out for a partner with who I can do some things together. It's very dependent on you though of course, if you're not very strong on your own maybe it's more useful if you have some friends because you might feel more supported.

Lately whenever I write something here, it is pretty much always the same. But for me it seems like the best thing I've come across, and I'm pretty sure it will help you with whatever things feel challenging. The thing is just to focus on things that feel good to you. Just ask, what would feel best for me to do now? Or what of the things I can do now has most enthusiasm/excitement/joy/love/curiosity/attraction/feelinggood in it? Maybe it's taking a walk, taking a shower, reading a book, calling someone, creating something, etc. In my understanding of it: that will lead you to whatever things, places and people you need most. In that approach there is no need for worries about money, relationships, or whatever because that will all come on its own. Just focus on feeling good and all good will come to you. Your higher mind/inner being will guide you by giving you impulses, inspirations, excitements, etc. You can't fail using this approach. It's easy, it's fun, it's loving, it's joyous, it's expansive, it's you

Hi Kyle, I can relate somewhat. What for me has been quite the life changer was when I adopted a message that suggested following your excitement/passion/joy/curiosity/whatevermakesyoufeelgood/etc. in every moment the best you can. See 'following your excitement Bashar' on Google. I think a whole lot can be written and all sort of questions can be asked to you, but honestly for me it seems that that suggestion is all you ever need.
