  1. Yes, but not in the end, it's already the case now ? No individual becomes enlightened because there actually isn't an individual to begin with.... it's an illusory experience. But being told this doesn't exactly help... you have to LOOK ? Who is seeking? Where is it located in the body? What does it consist of? Much love ❤
  2. Who is asking? Who's dilemma? Where is the one with a dilemma? Find that one!!
  3. Yes this is a problem for the sense of 'self'. It wants cake and to eat it too ? Enlightenment is the collapsing of the seeker/self that wants to find a special state with fireworks and magic powers.
  4. Its definitely interesting that's for sure. Some ACIM names that come to memory: David Hoffmeister; Marianne Williamson; Michael Mirdad; Jon Mundy; Alan Cohen; Aaron Abke. I would recommend reading "A Course in Miracles Made Easy" by Alan Cohen.... it's a great read ❤
  5. Life was still meaningless even before the 'you' went too far. There is no need for meaning. It just IS!! Why ask why? Just bask in the meaninglessness of it all is freedom is salvation is enlightenment. ❤
  6. Yes and it's funny because a lot of times the apparent individuals put these gurus or Masters up on the pedestal themselves and ? their feet. Shoot why not act like you achieved more than other individuals, they put you up on a pedestal and pay you the big bucks ?
  7. Your welcome! It would seem so but it's pretty interesting just how different the messages can be from teacher to teacher. If the end result is Freedom, it's as good as it gets ❤
  8. That's a pretty good way of putting it ? It points to the one that's aware or conscious isn't real. Awakening occurs when the sense of 'self' collapses or dies and simultaneously revealing it never existed making awakening or enlightenment a fictitious event.
  9. It's too obvious.... it's too in-your-face to get... it's already the case. Enlightenment is when the one trying to get it collapses.
  10. The body will die.... the separate individual within the body is an illusion... the 'self' is not real... and what is not real cannot die because it's not alive in the first place. It's completely crazy and not logical at all.
  11. Yes he's talking about how the experience of being a separate individual creates an illusory self-centered agenda placed over the top of reality. There actually aren't any separate individuals that are conscious and aware which is usually the misunderstanding and mostly why I believe Jim doesn't prefer using those words.
  12. I wasn't giving advice, I was making a statement. Any advice given to the separate sense of "self" such as stop seeking or seek harder only perpetuates its illusory existence, and keeps Maya or the Illusion intact. I agree it does seem that a curiosity/inquiry/desire/suffering plays a key role. It was obviously the suffering aspect for Eckhart Tolle for example. "And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you. For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened." -- Luke 11:9-13 Jesus said, "Let him who seeks continue seeking until he finds. When he finds, he will become troubled. When he becomes troubled, he will be astonished, and he will rule over the All." -- Gospel of Thomas Here it was recognized the one seeking wasn't real. That seeking energy collapsed and it was simultaneously recognized the seeker never actually existed... it was simply a misidentification. ❤
  13. That moment when seeking for enlightenment was dropped.....is enlightenment. Enlightenment is when the one seeking for it dies. So you see, life circumstance doesn't really matter.
  14. The transcendence of Duality vs Non-duality is what non-duality points to. So non-duality is the case after all concepts and ideas about what this is have been dropped, and it's simultaneously all the concepts and ideas before their dropped. It's everything ❤
  15. Yes that's right ?... it's the end of seeking for something other than THIS...
  16. @Amaal Welcome ❤.. the very act of seeking for a better experience in the future makes what's here and now subtly feel unsatisfactory.... kind of like the grass is always greener on the other side except the other side isn't real. The sense of 'self' or Maya keeps itself alive by perpetually seeking for a better experience in the future. Enlightenment is the collapsing of this self-centered energy that needs things to be one way or the other... it's recognizing every experience was already complete freedom and unconditional love... it was just the mind that said otherwise...
  17. @traveler ❤ yep... "nothing to find and no one to find it".. have you seen this video yet? ?
  18. Yeah I would say the I am infinite Consciousness/All-knowing Concept sounds pretty limited.
  19. I love things being impersonal, you know what I'm sayin, I love things being impersonal, and if loving things being impersonal is wrong, I Don't Want to Be Right!!
