Trust me I get it.... it sounds ridiculous and makes no sense! That's also why it's very rare. All I can really say is it can just become obvious at some point that this Seeker/Sense of self & it's entire conditioned belief system is completely unreal. And of course this Seeker/Sense of self absolutely hates this because it truly believes it's on a spiritual path acquiring multitudes of spiritual knowledge along the way to finally attaining something incredible called spiritual enlightenment. But there is no 'you' that finds or attains enlightenment. As the saying goes: "Nobody Becomes Enlightened" Enlightenment is the collapse of the seeker desperately struggling to attain it & simultaneously the recognition that enlightenment or this, is all there ever was without separation. And this revelation can become obvious after weeks, months, years, decades of desperate seeking without rendering any lasting results.... the futility is realized and becomes exhausted! ❤ -

Well that's why it's called awakening. And it's not an appearance, its an illusory experience stemming from an assumed identity as the body-mind organism. There isn't a relative self nor an absolute self....they are the same illusion but only seem to be different. There is nothing & no one behind the body-mind's eyes or anywhere else for that matter. And that can be a shocking & even terrifying revelation at first. (It's "to die before you die") only nothing really dies because it wasn't alive from the start. Its complete freedom but for nobody! ❤ -

There will always be something else....thats how the ego/sense of self keeps running in circles tripping over itself. It has to be clearly recognized that this desperate seeker that is jumping through endless spiritual hoops & believing it's getting closer to so-called enlightenment is just an illusion of self and never satisfied. The seeking ends because it's seen for the first time that this very individual attempting to become enlightened was never real from the start. ❤ -

The shocking and ridiculous part about this whole conceptual framework is that all these beliefs are stemming from nothing other than an illusory separate sense of self which truly believes it's real and can Hopefully figure out a way to escape death. And the cosmic joke is that there Already isn't a real living separate self.....it's an illusion! This illusory self lives in a reality where HOPE is it's only salvation. ❤ -

Hehe love it & glad to still see you around here and there ❤ Exactly, there isn't a real someone that experiences feelings of guilt....thats the dream story. Enlightenment isn't exclusive, it's inclusive. Feelings & emotions still arise, there just recognized as having never been arising for a someone. So feelings just come and go with ease & without getting caught up on the sticky illusion of self taking ownership of them. A lot of the feelings do change drastically though as there is no longer this personalized self agenda which needs to be met. It's freedom from no one & for no one! ❤ -

Maybe you subconsciously feel guilty about something. Possibly religious disobedience? Just a thought!! ❤ -

I would first try some hot and cold compression to expand and contract those muscles(20min hot 20min cold for 2 rounds in each area) ...maybe take some excederin an hour before, and if you're still not getting any kind of relief maybe try to get a prescription for a muscle relaxant. Also some insurances do cover physical therapy massages, I would at least give it a shot. A doctor should know what to do. ❤ -

Have you tried those float tanks? They are very relaxing. Have you ever been prescribed any muscle relaxers? Saunas, steam rooms, hot tubs and massages should be your best friends. ❤ -

You could try speaking with the person directly and let them know how you feel. And then if that didn't work you could go and file a claim with human resources(HR). A lot a times things get ugly because people are unaware or unfamiliar with the other options that were literally put in place for a reason. ❤ -

Yeah it's not real at all! I've actually heard some really good descriptions. Not sure what you mean by accurate description......it's not like there's a standard ego experience to compare with ? ❤ -

Loved: When my mother would empathize with me really well if I got hurt or stung by a bee or something like that. Unloved: When my parents were just absent and not involved in my life. Basically not being there giving advise, support and guidance. -
VeganAwake replied to CuriousityIsKey's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@CuriousityIsKey There isn't a real You that has something called an ego. The ego is the entire sense of self....the whole construct or experience of feeling like a separate individual (not just the so-called bad parts). And when that illusory experience ends, there is no You left to be found. There IS a conditioned body with its senses and preferences. And out of that experience seems to arise the ego or sense of self which believes its the body & thinker of thoughts. But it's an illusion of self, as in its completely unreal. So there isn't an ego and then a real You underneath the ego or something like that.... they are the same illusion! ❤ -
VeganAwake replied to CuriousityIsKey's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@CuriousityIsKey So you believe there is a omnipotent/omniscient entity called god. And then within the construct of this belief system a question arises, why doesn't this god heal my illness? If that entire belief system was dropped, there would be no one left to resent. Resentment is useless and drains life energy! ❤ -

The body can definitely feel a sense of confidence while doing things. But yes the individual that claims it as "MY confidence" is the illusion of self. As the saying goes "practice makes perfect". Repetition is always the key until you don't even have to think about it anymore. I would say confidence is at its peak when you're in the Flow State.... like Michael Jordan use to be playing basketball. He practiced so much and became so good, he made it look easy. ❤ -
VeganAwake replied to Ora's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
The apparent issue with this question is there are already dozens of preconceived notions/ideas/concepts/beliefs being held there about what nibbana is or isn't. In other words 'you' showed up to the party gun fully loaded and glass overflowing. Its just not a something attained for a someone. It's not a state which is entered either. It's the end of state chasing for an individual. It has nothing to do with becoming, gaining or attaining. Rather its a loss of something that never actually happened. It's complete freedom for nobody due to the revelation that this socially conditioned individual identified as 'ME'......is completely unreal!! The 'ME' so desperately wants to be there to reap all the benefits which it imagines enlightenment to be like. But this is an impossibility because nibbana is the death of the illusory 'ME' which wants to attain or have nibbana for itself. ❤ -
VeganAwake replied to Taus's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
What is What is? "All there is is what is . . . but what is what is? Well, there is no real answer to that question. However, it seems that what is could be just what is happening . . . reading these words, sitting on a seat, trees growing, sounds, feelings, clouds or thoughts passing by and so on. In simple terms these events just seem to be what is happening. But the perspective here is that the essence of what is happening is an open secret. It is suggested that what is is oneness appearing as twoness, the absolute being relative. It is the treasure that is longed for and feared most . . . the perfect lover and the grim reaper. It is of course the ultimate paradox, being simultaneously nothing and everything. There is no possibility of the essence of what is being described, grasped or known. The seeker attempts to be aware of or conscious of what is and immediately that function separates and objectifies and makes solid that which is wonderfully floating, effervescent and ungraspable. The essence of what is can’t be seen by me and so me never feels fulfilled because its experiences seem to have something missing. In what is is also what isn’t. This is the wonder of wholeness because it appears as both simultaneously. Everything that is something is also already nothing . . . there are not two! Everything is therefore real and unreal, but me experiences everything as only real. Within this illusion me attempts to transform this dualistic and unsatisfactory experience into processes such as “living in the moment” or “being here now” or accepting everything as “consciousness”. However, and again, the wonderful paradox of the play of wholeness is that the story of me is also what is. All of the dreams and hopes, processes and religious aspirations are only wholeness appearing as a separate entity rushing around looking for itself and also hiding from itself by already being everything. And in being everything, even the avoidance or rejection of what is is what is. So what is longed for constantly sings the only song of freedom that can never be lost or found because it is already all there is". - Tony Parsons (The Open Secret) ❤ -

Yeah this is it! Everyone thinks it's going to be this big mystical happening for a someone....it's not, it's an unhappening for no one! It can be quite an ordinary realization or it can feel big and profound! Its simply seeing that the characteristics and the behaviors (some conditioned some not) of this apparent body, do not amount to a separate self. The sense of self is like an illusory byproduct of being told you are a separate person from a young age....it's the physical and mental experiences of this assumption/misunderstanding. ❤ -
VeganAwake replied to Muhammad Jawad's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
It can kind of feel like both simultaneously. Certain patterns may start dissolving while others can seem to intensity because there is no one attempting to control them. It can just feel very out of control for weeks, months..... it's a little different for everyone! ❤
