I see what you mean although it's only when you perceive the waves as separate from the ocean does it become so. Although the ocean water evaporates into clouds and then rains over the land the water always returns to the source and was never actually separate, it always remained the ocean. Duality is actually an illusion, a figment of the imagination, all there is is non-duality or Oneness. The reason they are indistinguishable is because non-duality is all there is, so there's nothing to compare it to. Haha I apologize if we are saying the same thing I just wanted to tweak it a little bit. ❤ ❤ Thank you for the nice comments!! -

That is really interesting I've definitely listened to some long manly P hall speeches. Wasn't he a high rank freemason? Smart guy!! Something that always brought me inner peace earlier on, was a quote from A Course in Miracles: " Nothing real can be threatened, nothing unreal exists, herein lies the peace of God. -

@Serotoninluv thanks yes I try to paint short and sweet pictures. It's incredible how simplistic yet meaningful something as short as " I am that I am" or " be still and know that I am God" can be. Thank you for your work and all your service as well ❤ -

@MAYA EL I see what you are saying. Do you think it's possible that because thousands of people have had similar experiences, people that did not know each other and in different parts of the world, without prior knowledge that there could be something to this realization. This resonated with me because when I experienced the dropping away of the false self(no self), I realized I was nothing and simultaneously everything all along, under the illusion of a separate limited self. The realization that the boundaries of Duality were a fiction, a trick played on myself. It's like our own mind keeps us locked in a prison to stay safe. When one becomes awake they have jailbroken their mind and there Consciousness shines through their masks, the illusions of Duality crumble away. I like your big picture thinking ..You are right to be skeptical. Thank you for replying and as always I'm here to help with anything. Let your heart guide you. Have a good day my friend!! -

VeganAwake replied to The Don's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Yes this is all good stuff, just accept the fact that you are unmotivated about anything at this point in your life. Maybe you won't be motivated by self-actualization later or maybe you will....but currently you are not so just accept what is currently the truth. Resisting the truth is like rowing a boat Upstream, you will get worn out quick. ? ❤ ✌ -
VeganAwake replied to The Don's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@The Don Do you think it could be your resistance to life being meaningless that's causing your depression. If you could just accept the fact that life has no meaning, do you think it would cut yourself some slack and just allow what is to be. Eckhart Tolle talks a lot about how suffering is the resistance to what is. The unacceptance of Truth. Just a thought hope this helps good luck have a good day!! -

@MAYA EL Good questions... because waking up increases Consciousness, and Consciousness is the truth and Truth is our nature... I'm not forcing anyone just offering my assistance. I guess you would have to trust that somebody is awake and can safely guide others to this realization.( Enlightenment is difficult to prove because it's a realization of what is already true but hidden behind a veil of Illusion). Enlightenment is a dispelling of ignorance. It's a falling away of the false self and simultaneously a realization of what's true. It's not a process to be feared or a gaining of knowledge that may be incorrect. I completely understand and you are correct to be skeptical because there is a lot of misleading information out there about awakening. My best advice is to follow your heart do what you think is best! Have a good day!! I am here to help anyone seeking it. -
VeganAwake replied to SoonHei's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@SoonHei thank you these are words of wisdom. Osho was great and had such a good sense of humor. I definitely like to refer to it as a realization that was always there and we just weren't aware. The ignorance is dispelled and one can see the illusion of the ego clearly. And once the bottom of the bucket falls out it does not hold water any longer. Have a good day!! -
VeganAwake replied to Aquarius's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Yes that still point in the center of the accordion that does not move. That is where the permanent self or true self resides.( which is the essence of existence) An awakened individual can still dabble in the impermanence expansion and contraction, but their heart resides in the center. And they are aware of that fact. -
VeganAwake replied to Aquarius's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Maybe we are the universe experiencing itself. It's a natural unfolding process. I find peace in accepting what is. I've always liked this quote from A Course in Miracles: " Nothing real can be threatened, nothing unreal exists, herein lies the peace of God". -

It kind of sounds like you have deflated your ego. If that's what it is, in my experience the more you can stay in this state the more it will deflate. I always think of that song ...I can see clearly now the rain is gone. When you can calm the whirlwind of the Mind, truth starts revealing itself quickly. I think you were describing between nothing and everything is... the still point of the Spiral. when one decides that they will never give up and simultaneously they surrender at the same time. That's when things get real interesting. That's awesome stuff!! -

@Serotoninluv Thank you. Yes it's been quite an experience, and it still continues to unfold every day a little bit at a time. I believe I was going through a slow Awakening already and then I sped up the process by a lot of meditation and triggered what I have come to learn as a Samadhi type experience during this awakening. If you are interested in hearing a similar experience, check out the: Daniel Schmidt Buddha at the gas pump interview and producer of Samadhi (Maya the illusion of the self) movie. His experience of Samadhi mimicked my own experience which I found very interesting that I stumbled on this movie within 2 weeks after my experience. Felt like the Divine was sending me a resource because I was so confused at what had happened. -

@Mikael89 lay on the floor with your eyes closed and die. Cease everything as if you went brain dead. Do this for an hour everyday for 30 days. -
The only thing that stands between you and enlightenment is seeking. ... Enlightenment is not a place to reach, it's not a thing to “get,” it's frankly not even an experience. It's the nature of the moment You are already enlightened spirit. There is nowhere you need to go and nothing to you need to do in order to be that which you already are. The only issue is that you believe the thoughts that say you have to do something to get “there,” and that’s why you suffer and have “problems.” The mind says you’re lacking something, you’re inadequate in some way, that “there” is better than “here,” and the second we buy into the mind’s story, is the moment when peace ends and suffering begins. In a sense, seeking kicks us out of heaven and plants us squarely in hell.

Be mindful of not turning your spiritual practice into just another conceptual effort that only distracts you from realizing the very thing you are seeking. Such activity is just another obstacle from the egoic mind, one of additional distraction and delusion. The truth is this—your presence requires no practice whatsoever. There’s nothing you can do to create more awareness within you. All that is needed is to let go of all preconceptions, assumptions, and expectations and abide in the present moment without thinking about the psychological entity you have created for yourself, which you call, 'I'. If you continue striving to attain something that you already are, then you will forever be occupied with needless busy-work which will only obscure the Truth that is always here and now. No effort is required to realize your Self—it is the very essence of your beingness which enables this very moment to be perceived. You are aware. You exist. Just leave that already-obvious realization to be as it is, being empty of anything additional from the mind. You are the field of infinite consciousness which silently rests underneath each and every sensation. No search can ever locate you, for you are everywhere and everything. You cannot be found, for you are the alert aliveness that knows this present-moment—forever fresh and flowing, never still nor stagnant. The ultimate realization is that there is no “you” whose efforts you need to control through a strict practice, or whose activities you need to manipulate or correct. You only need to awaken to that which is already here. You only need to stop imagining yourself to be something you are not. All else will naturally fall into place once you align your conviction of the truth with your undeniable selfless presence of undivided Being. Drop all opinions and simply be judgement-free. No longer busy yourself with discriminating notions of person, place, or thing. No longer concern yourself with this concept called ‘me’. What you believe yourself to be is not what you are. Attach yourself to nothing, for you are not a thing. You are That which watches the appearance of all forms and things, while you remain free from them all as the formless presence of absolute nothing. Abandon all belief and just quietly observe your body, your mind, and the world without giving your energy of attention away to any of the thoughts arising within consciousness. Be more concerned with the blissful emptiness in which each perception appears, rather than with the objects of perception themselves—this is enlightenment. Maintain focus on the aware presence which seems to accompany you wherever you go. Know that you are this alive emptiness—the space of consciousness that envelops your entire beingness wherever you go, wherever you are. You—Awareness—are all-pervading. As this understanding becomes more clear and vibrant within present consciousness you will realize that in truth, you don't move anywhere, ever—the world moves within you. You, Awareness, remain forever motionless—still, unchanging, deathless, timeless and eternal. You are Peace itself. Don’t allow your spiritual practice of meditation, mantra, mindfulness, or self-inquiry to become yet another obstacle to self-realization. While all such activities are of great benefit to the body and mind, if you imbue them too much conceptual effort they will become just another thing you will need to transcend. Awaken to the effortless simplicity of spontaneity—this is what it means to awaken. There is no strategy or action plan required. Surrender every idea you have of yourself. Let go of everything (conceptually). Know nothing, believe nothing, and just Be as you already are. As many teachers have said before, self-realization is simple—just do nothing. If 'you' are doing something then you are missing the entire point! There is no ‘one' to do anything at all—there is no one home! There are only things that appear to be happening, but they remain as nothing but an appearance arising within the awareness that you are, which is your Self. Notice that every sensation and perception is nothing but a reminder that you are here, that you are now, and that you are the invisible selfless presence which enables all of this to be. Awaken to the alive spontaneity that is your natural Self. -

Ceasing to seek or believe something is not a conditioned action, it is the opposite. A belief leads to a belief system. Not having any beliefs leaves you empty. Not believing in beliefs is also not a belief because it does not lead to any belief structure or system. Osho used to talk about this non belief/no mind non action a lot. The great way is not difficult for those who have no preferences. The question of whether seeking enlightenment is a help or a hindrance is pretty clear amongst the saints and sages throughout time. The answer tends to be based around: The seeking itself is the distraction. Another self-imposed roadblock.. To seek is to move away... to turn within is the only way. -

@Danioover9000 I'm sorry you feel that way, it was not my intention at all. I used the voice text option a lot so it might sound like my words are lacking The Compassion but I can assure you I have the best intentions for everyone on this forum. I use it to get a lot of information out quickly.( I have 3 kids and I'm married) I am here to help anyone here and not talk down to anyone. We are equal and ultimately one. -

Negativity and suffering can be a catalyst to take the plunge so yes you are correct... that was the case for me.
