  1. I'm sure you are aware of this already but I don't adhere to any one communication or belief system or whatever... I've just spent a lot of time listening to their communication and I wanted to make sure it got portrayed accurately... as I also have much respect for their work. I do agree that their communication is unique in that it goes straight in for the kill. I get what you are saying but it almost sounds like you are also saying people need to be fed a load of BS before they will stumble upon the truth for themselves. This is a no beating around the bush or running on the hamster wheel approach.. Anyways yes there's a lot of good material here in this thread and this is exactly why these things are discussed in my opinion... there's a kernel of Truth in everything. Have a good afternoon as well my brother...❤ I'm Coming For That vegan Festival next year he he..?
  2. Yes, it is constantly pointed out by Tony that this communication has no expectations and does not cater in any way to the seeker’s need for answers, processes or a path to follow. This uncompromising message can be both confronting and liberating. It basically points out there's no help here for the individual, because it's recognized that the individual is an illusion. This message isn't received by the individual. The goal is to toss it over the head of the illusory individual to resonate in the court of being. "there is no hope here for the individual, because that's the illusion" Yes climb back onto the hamster wheel and continue seeking for this is all the separate self can do anyways. But there is nothing wrong with THIS because it is THIS...?
  3. "This is a communication which illuminates the paradoxical nature of non-duality and exposes the deluded idea that it is something that can be acquired and experienced. It is so obvious and simple that the grasping of it obscures it. Never found, never lost, never knowable, being is the consummate absence that is beyond measure. It seems that in the boundless energy that is oneness there can also arise a contracted energy which brings about apparent self-awareness. A powerful and convincing sense of self-identity seems to arise together with a belief in personal free will and choice in what is experienced as a real life story. All of these personal experiences can only apparently arise in what seems to be a very real but dualistic reality in which everything appears to be separate. This sense of separation can bring with it a sense of loss and a need to seek guidance, an understanding or a path or process that can promise fulfilment. There are attempts to seek unity which are totally futile because the separate seeker is apparently the very dualism from which it is trying to escape. Looking for being is believing that it is lost. Has anything been lost, or is it simply that the looking obscures? Does the beloved dance constantly just beyond our focus? This dilemma is illuminated in this unique communication which makes no demands, has no expectations and does not cater in any way to the seeker’s need for answers, processes or a path to follow. This uncompromising message can be both confronting and liberating. "Life is not a task. There is absolutely nothing to attain except the realisation that there is absolutely nothing to attain." The whole personal investment in making spiritual progress, becoming more aware, more still, more open or more anything at all can simply unravel in this radical revelation. The whole perception of “the self” or “the world” it seems to live in, can be transformed and leave nothing to support the illusion of personal separation, control and continuation. Suddenly, the absence that was feared is the absence which is unknowable, but paradoxically is also the very fullness, the freedom that was longed for" - Tony Parsons
  4. @electroBeam I understand what you're saying...❤ There's some truth to everything, some people probably should stop taking psychedelics... others may be need to up their dosage to have more profound insights... others will benefit from stopping everything. There's no should or shouldn't's... I was more or less saying if you don't go for it you'll never know... I'm a big fan of the middle way myself. Either way it doesn't really matter ?
  5. I'm pretty sure Leo is referring to the part that says " if you get the message, hang up the phone" These arguments could go on forever but if you're not walking in that persons shoes, who would know. I used to drink like a fish and smoke some of the finest green that the Pacific Northwest and Canada had to offer... I also probably tripped on LSD 25 times and mushrooms maybe 10 between the ages of 16 and 19. I do not know if these substances assisted in my awakening or not. There was also at least 100 hours of meditation, 100's of watched actualized.org/YouTube videos, yoga, radical open-mindedness while simultaneously staying grounded, complete surrendering but knowing I would never give up. Maybe it assisted, maybe it didn't maybe it partially did. There's no real way of knowing, which I find quite interesting. All we can really do is report on these experiences.
  6. Ask and ye shall receive...❤ thanks When I read this it completely reminded me of Osho... although I'm aware he was big on meditation. Anyone in tier-2 would recognize that Awakening can occur in traditional advaita, neo advaita and everything all encompassing... there's no prerequisites it's just something that apparently happens. Tony Parsons mentioned a drunk bum that awakened after a long night of partying and doing drugs. (of course you could say the drugs were a practice in itself) Anyone taking a left to right movement in these non dual descriptions would just be limiting themselves to one option. I've had a couple drinky-poo so I hope that makes sense? ?
  7. @traveler nice one!! ❤ You're like my brother from another mother!! ?
  8. Maybe what you call God is infinite energy appearing as form and formlessness, real and unreal, everything and nothing. Maybe you have never been apart from this Infinite energy, but you are constantly seeking to feel whole because you feel like you are apart from it. Maybe the constant seeking perpetuates the belief that you are not complete and whole already and keeps you seeking for something that was never lost. See if you recognize your already complete, there will be nothing left for the separate self to seek any longer... it will be out of a job... The separate self does not want to be out of a job, it wants to keep you on the hamster wheel running forever so it can survive. Does this sound familiar? ❤ maybe

  10. Seems like the Mind becomes a runaway train of thought after a while. Meditation helps to calm the Whirlwind and pathological thinking that actually distracts us from living in reality....❤ If I would have known early on in my life how powerful meditation was I would have started it when I was 12 haha....?
  11. I really love this...thank you! It's truly amazing what can change in our lives when truth is held as the highest ❤ Our stories of seeking truth are very similar... there were a lot of things that didn't feel good discovering about myself. Then when I was deployed to Okinawa Japan with the Navy about a year-and-a-half ago something crazy happened. I started recognizing the whole story of 'me' was just a compilation of thoughts ideas beliefs and perceptions that I held/believed about myself. The 'me' character became flimsy and then it Fell Away. Basically my search for Truth was replaced with Being. It was recognized that Satisfyingly Being was what was ultimately longed-for the whole time. Thank you again for being open and sharing your story my friend... have a great day ?
  12. Great story thanks for sharing... that's awesome you recognized liberation ❤ I was curious did you happen to experience a falling away of the self structure? or was it recognized the story of "I" is an illusion? I also noticed you're from California and 3 years older than me... I don't find that very often on here ?
  13. They seem to be having fun always laughing and joking around. Its a shocking and startling message that the individual never existed and any attempt to get rid of this illusory separate self by means of practices or self-inquiry is simply a futile attempt and can actually perpetuate the illusion of the separate individual... keep you running on the hamster wheel sorta speak. There is no where to go, and no one to get there. Its simply THIS ?
  14. It's a radical message that is rejected by the individual. The individual doesn't like it because it has nothing for it, it explains the individual is the illusion or the problem itself.
  15. There's still a conditioned human body that will turn its head when its name is called or jump out of the way of a train. The human body will still eat when it's hungry and decide to walk over and get a glass of water when it's thirsty. It will also jump out of the way if a snake tries to bite it in the leg. I know that their messages are radical and there's nothing there for the individual in fact the individual won't even hear their message. My advice would be to stay radically open-minded and recognize there is some truth in everybody's perspective. These guys do seem to take it a little extreme but I would also call it walking the walk. Survival is not dependent on an illusory ME manifesting inside of the body claiming it's in control of everything. The body will survive naturally whether the me thinks it's there or not. ❤
  16. I wouldn't say their really talking shit lol, they are trying to describe the misunderstandings that other spiritual teachers often seem to overlook in their communication. For example: Staying in the present moment (Eckhart Tolle) Jim and Tony don't like this phrase because it sounds like something narrow. Why would you need to try to focus on staying in the present moment when all there is, IS THIS. Obviously their biggest disagreement with these other teachers is the belief that a separate individual can somehow obtain enlightenment through suffering, spiritual practices and self-inquiry. They point out the supposed separate individual is the illusion itself and that these practices can actually perpetuate the belief that there is a separate individual that can attain something called enlightenment. Tony Parsons is like the Godfather of these non-dual messages haha... I'm not sure about the whole neo-advaita stuff but I guess people can call it whatever they want ? Here is another guy you might be interested in ❤
  17. Bravery is not exactly the word... it's more like faith. Have faith that when (Maya the illusion of self) falls away that everything will be just fine. There was a level of trust here that listened to the Enlightened Masters that came before explaining it's not a gaining, it's a falling away. When the self falls away everything is found. And it's simultaneously recognized the self never existed. ❤
  18. See the tricky part about this work is recognizing the separate self is the only thing that wants this to happen. In reality everything is perfect whole and complete just the way it is... nothing needs to be done... everything is already done in fact it may have never started. The destruction of the planet is just as incredible as the thriving of it. There's no rules no boundaries no should or shouldn't's no prerequisites. Everything is as it is for what else could it be.. No thing need be done... it's party time or not either way is the way...?
  19. Yes meditation was being used a lot here as well. Quieting the whirl wind of Mind or pathological thinking seemed key in a sense. At that time Leo's distraction the egos favorite defense mechanism video became quite helpful ❤
  20. Goals can still arise they just don't feel personalized, like there's not an egoic self agenda driving the need any longer. Not that much changes in this sense... Im still going to finish my military career so I can support the family financially. Nothing needs to be done but why not make the world a better place...❤ Yes the separate self is seen as a fiction. What's left is a conditioned human body Being!
  21. No problem ..yeah it's crazy all right and whatever path you choose is your Great Way ?
