  1. I have already eliminated some of the big ones such as milk, eggs, trans fats (hydrogenated oils, shortening, etc.), snack pastries, overly-sugary foods (though I still have treats), etc. My war against sodium, saturated fat, and sugar is still raging on with sodium being the toughest thing to limit. My question is... what should I add to the list of things to avoid eating? Anything that you can recommend I will work on removing. This could be things such as harmful ingredients to look for, what kinds of meat to avoid (I already avoid processed meat), anything. Also, anything that I should start adding to my diet? Thank you!
  2. What do you mean by roasting carbs? I cook oats in a pot with almond milk for breakfast for a short while. I don't think that I overcook them because they're still moist from the almond milk and are not browned at all. I just want to make sure that it isn't pernicious when I think it's healthy.
  3. Well, I guess that I am good there then haha
  4. I think that I have been doing a good job at that too. I have been avoiding high fructose corn syrup, candy, and too much honey.
  5. I use the app called Cronometer to track the amount. I am trying to keep it below 1500 mg even though I am allowed to eat up to 2000 mg at my age. I eat around 1800 mg a day on average I still eat saturated fats without too much control, but I am trying to lower my daily intake. Thanks for the advice! I will try to implement it into my life and see if I can avoid those tempting treats.
  6. I've played this and it is pretty relaxing just being animals running around a field. When I started shrinking down I began tripping out.
  7. I've been getting around to self-inquiry and have been trying to make a daily ritual out of it, but lately, I find myself not being able to actually do it. Sitting down to even begin with it is the hardest part. Does anyone have any advice on how to wrangle my ego and settle down? I've been thinking of doing this right after I wake up and eat breakfast but I'm not sure if I should rush into it like that. Also, when I try to focus on my awareness itself, I am not sure how to feel. What I do is try to clear my mind of all thoughts so that my mind naturally starts focusing on awareness itself, but I am not sure if this is the correct way to self-inquire. I've also tried this exercise while feeling tired and I have managed to enter a trance where I feel half-asleep and am thinking about almost nothing at all. How do ya'll know if you are doing it correctly?
