What type of meditation helped you with that?

Seems legit. -

Pretty much. When you feel connected to someone or something, we call it Love. It's a preview, so to speak, to the ultimate connection. To be One, Love, Consciousness, God. Whatever you want to call it. Any distinction that you make that disconnects You from Love is how the ego stays alive. Disolve that, and you'll be pure Self-Love. -

What I'm saying is that everyone is looking for something that doesn't exist externally. Everything is ONE. So you are looking for yourself. YOU ARE LOVE. YOU are EVERYTHING. But, if you aren't aware that you are ONE yet. Then there's not really much else to say. Your ego is going to defend your paradigm. -

@Nak Khid Isn't everyone just looking for Love in their lives. It guides everything we do. Love and acceptance. Is it so hard to believe that it's all that we are too? That it's home. Where everything stems from. -
Is it better to catch a glimpse of the Infinite and apply that to your imaginary life? ie. Knowing you're in the Matrix, but accepting it and playing it like a game. Or should we be going all the way and die before dying, so to speak? Which leaves you with no option but to completely reject the illusion of "reality", and realize yourself as God. Desolving everything you are, along with purpose, relationships, all meaning whatsoever. Can we do both? Is Enlightenment possible while going on with life as usual? Is Leo doing both? I tend to think he's doing to former, but I could be wrong. There is always this "line" that we can cross. Imaginary line, yes, built with fear. But isn't a little bit of fear ok to keep you "sane" and tethered to reality? Most people think of it as All or Nothing. Awake or Deluded. Is there not some middle ground that we can we content with? Understand that it is all meaningless. But choose wisely the meaning you want to assign to your life.

That's what I implied In my direct experience there is the imaginary self (all that we are and live in) and the absence of that (Infinity - Love - Conciousness) There is no where to go "physically". But there is a merging with God, and a state of being that is different from what we live day to day. The end of the path is the desolution of everything you are. That's what I'm asking. If the complete desolution (death before dying) is worth it. Leo says that it's like an orgasm times 10 or whatever. Is that worth destroying my life over? -
JayG84 replied to Nak Khid's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Yes. Infinite Love can also be looked at as complete acceptance because anything that you can't accept is a distintion you made seperate from Love that has an emotion attached to it. The emotion is something that's trying to bring you back to Love, meaning your authentic self. Self-Love. -
JayG84 replied to Nak Khid's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Those feelings only exist because of beliefs and thoughts, which are not real, so in turn, the feeling isn't real either. Those feelings only exist in an ego that seperates itself from Love. What is a belief that makes you feel love? Love would still remain. A nihilistic psychopathic killer still feels Love. In fact it's the only thing that can save them. -
JayG84 replied to Nak Khid's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
They actually don't. Notice this. Your beliefs guide your hate...Racists hate because they believe some people are different than them Your beliefs guide your anger...You believe you've been wronged in some way...or you believe someone is an idiot Your beliefs guide your boredom...You believe there is nothing to do or interesting Your beliefs guide your joy...You believe that this is better than that. All of these beliefs are imaginary. Love is what remains when all your beliefs are gone. The only thing that can be. -
JayG84 replied to Nak Khid's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Hate is not the opposite of Love. Hate is a result of denying what you truely are. The ego creates distintions where there are none. We are all ONE. Hate and Anger can only exist when you believe there is something other than Love. Love is the result of the realization that we are all ONE, everything is YOU. So you can only hate yourself. What you hate in yourself, you hate in others. -

Isn't everybody looking for Love? That's all everyone is ever doing, You are here because you're looking for a sense of connection with all of us. You are the person you are because it's your best bet on the way to recieve love and acceptance from the world. Everyone longs to find a partner to share life with so they can be understood and accepted. You fear and hate all the things that stand in the way of you recieving love and acceptance. You see a trend here? We are all connected by "something" and that "something" is all we are. When you surrender all that you think you are, all that's left is Love for everything. Can you feel this? Obviously there must be something connecting us all that we can't point to. That is Love. That's what we're made of. -
It's all the same. The same problem persists. It's is not explainable with words, concept, and ideas. Just look for yourself. You'll save a lot of time and mental energy.

He's not trying to "debunk" you. There is no debate here. I feel like that's all this forum is sometimes. It's just semantics chasing semantics. The colour analogy helps. You're saying "Explain the colour Yellow to me" and he's saying "We can't use words to express Yellow, It's all around you. Just look." and you're saying. "That's not evidence, explain it to me" You can't explain it no matter how much you want to know it. You just have to wake up and see that Yellow was here this whole time. It's not hiding. It's just a perspective shift.

See that what I'm trying to gauge with this forum. Like there are a lot of interesting conversations going on here...and I appreciate you all (even though I'm talking to myself) But I see a lot of people are just arguing semantics with semantics, and everyone is just trying to see if everyone is experiencing the same things. But these things can't be explained so it's all just different ways of saying the same things over and over and over. Just a hand that's pointing at itself forever. But I guess that's what all of this is right? lol What keeps us here talking about this stuff? Self-Love I guess -
JayG84 replied to VeganAwake's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
So do I. But I just don't think it's remarkable enough to call myself God. It's just, of course, this is all there is. We are just one. The self is an illusion. Cool. On with my life...with compassion. -
JayG84 replied to VeganAwake's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
This is what I'm talking about. How do you know I didn't realize the same thing as you? You are alive. Using words. To try to describe it to me. The only difference is our confidence levels (which are illusions) maybe you just aren't understanding me. Maybe I'm just not using the right words (which are illusions) ugh It's pointless...lol -
I was just contemplating Intelligence and was wondering how consciousness turns practice into knowing? Why does doing something repetitively "solidify" knowledge. I play guitar, it takes me days of practicing something to get it "perfect". Same with spiritual practice. Like a path being carved out in Intelligence itself. Does anyone have any insights?

Yes. I am. We are all ONE. I get it. But I don't find it anything "special" about it. It's the same realization I had when I found out about the Big Bang when I was younger. Cool...Interesting...Oh this is how it works?!? But it doesn't change anything in my life besides the recontextualization of everything...lol Reality is still physical (for the form I'm in now), I still have thoughts (although I recognize every one of them and just witness them), I still need to interact with others (Which I know are just me as god looking at myself and talking to myself) It's beautiful and cool, and I Love it. But It doesn't change anything really. You and I are still "living" in this "reality". -
JayG84 replied to VeganAwake's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
I find it so funny that we can't talk about the meta of the meta in these situations. Like there are the people talking about all the materialist stuff, defending their egos and trying the convince people that there is a physical reality through proof and facts. And then there are the people telling them to wake up, It's all a dream, Awaken. They use words to express this which don't do it justice, like asking someone to explain the colour Yellow to them. It must be frustrating and they just say "Just go see it and you'll know"....but we are all trying. But what I'm saying is: I (Which doesn't exist) have had a realization (Which I know is just thoughts and perceptions that don't "exist") that right here doesn't exist. And that it's all an Illusion (Which is something that I'm conceptualizing).....etc etc etc. You see how this is impossible to talk about without picking apart everything that someone says as "they're still using words, they must not be awakened" But what I'm asking is that, in this illusion that we are living in, does anything seem different when you awaken, or is it just a deep knowing that we are living in an Illusion? Like someone can not have words for Yellow, but they go and experience Yellow, and then they say...Oh, Yellow was in front of my eyes this whole time! Yellow is all around me!! But it doesn't change the fact that nothing has changed, just their perception of it. Is Awakening like that? Like an obvious OOOOOHHHHH. It was right here all this time. Or does your whole Reality (which I know is an illusion) change in a tangible (I know nothing is tangible) way? Because if nothing about THIS reality changes, just your contextualization of it does, than how can I know for sure what you and I are experiencing is the same awakening? I know this to be an amazing, impossible, magical, illusory, reality. That I can't find the words to express this to you in a way that I can be sure you're experiencing in the same way as me... -
JayG84 replied to VeganAwake's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Right. So is it just a realization or a shift of perspective in THIS reality that we ALL see. Or is awakening going somewhere else but still being here?? Because I do realize that it's all an illusion...it's magic...it's amazing...it's beautiful. But it's not that much more unbelievable as The Big Bang...or Atoms and Molecules...or whatever Christians believe...but we all take that for granted. Life goes on and we still have to live in this reality. We can just choose how we want to live. With grace and Love because we are all ONE and the same. The way some people talk about it, you'd think it was like waking up in the Upsidedown or getting unplugged from the Matrix or something... -
JayG84 replied to VeganAwake's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
What does this Awakening feel like though? Do you definitely know you're awake? Like snapping out of this reality? waking up somewhere else? What does it look like? Do you "see" something different? No one can seem to articulate this in any way and always say "Go find out for yourself" But for someone who's in the process of self-work, and doesn't think they're ready to take 5-meo or anything, and might awaken accidentally through meditation or something someday...What does it actually feel like to see and become God? -

JayG84 replied to JayG84's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Nahm Thanks for the great reply. There's a lot of good stuff in there. There's the analysing and the feeling of a song. Sometimes I get stuck in analysis (Music Theory) part of it and I'm not feeling the music the way I should be. The feeling of it is really all that matters though, but for some reason I enjoy the analysis a little bit more Probably the same reason I like philosophizing about the meta-physical more than the meditation and self-work. Maybe the ego is at play here huh? I definitely have to keep this in mind. Most of the time I feel the need to make music more complex than it has to be to appeal to the people who "know what I'm doing". But that's such a small minority. I should use it as a meditation instead. It feels best when I just close my eyes and play something with the heart instead of letting my ego figure something "cool" out. I think music (listening and playing) has served a meditative purpose in my life, whether I'm aware of it or not. I just need to start being more aware of it. -

Could you expand on these points if you can? I like what you said but I'm not sure I completely understand. The Drama being that we are assigning false meaning to it? The hook meaning that we follow our thoughts of it? Is the quicksand the chasing of meaning. There are no musicians as in, the music is played by conciousness itself?
