  1. Wow. Cool. How would you describe the space you were in if not 3 dimentional? How does it feel when you're in it? Is it a terror that's hard to deal with on a day to day basis? Knowing that the truth is literally stranger than fiction? Right. I am the computer making the vr world. We are living the technological singularity that they think AI is going to create in the future. We are it. Now! Lol
  2. There's a Black Mirror episode where a guy is in a horror virtual reality word where the computer knows all of his fears. So the world is designed specifically for him and it's simulating his own fears, but he's also aware of it while it's happening. I wonder if it's sort of like that. Like you're aware of the vr world, the thoughts that are creating the vr world, and that you are created in the vr world too. ?
  3. Exactly. Impermanence is fundamental. The act of trying to hold on to it makes us suffer. ?
  4. I was thinking of how we manifest our realities. And I'd like some input on if this is actually how our reality unfolds in the Now. I was thinking of how a thing like, going the the moon, would actually unfold in my reality. Keep in mind that I'm talking about a realitive, physical reality, that I live in day to day. I know we could dismiss all of this by saying "You are all of it, you are god" but I just want to humour my self right now. So I've obviously never experienced going to the Moon. So in my reality, it's not possible. It's not actual. It's not in my experience. So right now it's a thought or a belief. I've seen people on the moon in video, on youtube, I've read of the experience in books, but it's not something that's physically in my reality. So in a way, the moon landing never actually happened. I'm manifesting the story of ALL of it. Like the footage, and the documentaries, and the encyclopedia articles that contain the information about it, all the technology that I use every day that has come from what the scientist learned. All of that is manifesting in my reality because of the one belief that I have of "someone went to the moon" and even before that "the moon exists". It's like you're building a puzzle, and every belief is a puzzle piece that's building your reality. Before those beliefs, the moon, or astronauts, or rockets, never existed. But since I was told they do, and I believe that there are people who are out there who went to the moon, I think that it's out there and it's possible to go to. So if I was given the opportunity to go to the Moon. I was chosen randomly to become an astronaut, go through all the training required to accumulate all the knowledge to go to the moon, I would be aquiring all the beliefs in succession for me to be manifesting the reality of going to the moon. Like Consciousness coding an open world video game and simultaniously rendering it in real time, In the now, for You (which is also consciousness) to experience. There was no Moon before I actually went there, and now because I've been there, it's part of my reality, in that moment. After I leave the Moon, it's not in my past, it's not in anyone elses future. It was, in that moment, as consciousness was rendering it. So all of the ego's reality is like this. If I want something that I didn't think was possible before. It's because I didn't aquire the puzzle pieces that built the picture of it in my reality, or I aquired negative beliefs that limit the size of the puzzle that I can build. That's all that seperates us from the life we want to bulid. But when we awaken, we realize that there are no limits to the amount of puzzle pieces to accumulate, or to the size of the puzzle we can build. But we will always collapse down to a somewhat limited Reality. Until we die and truely become Infinite.
  5. I'm not here to debate. I intuitively know that my thoughts, beliefs, and perceptions are not my true nature. I have not had an awakening to it, I've just always known it deep down. I recognize it everywhere in my life. I can see and feel people's egos as well as I see my own. I've seen the tricks it plays. I've worked through a lot of "programming" intellectually. And have a long way to go still. I'm not enlightened, and I'm kind of scared to see the Truth to be honest. But I still can't help but wonder if my idea of Absolute Oneness is still a belief that I hold. I mean it "feels" true. But maybe my mind is just believing that it's true. just like cult members beleive their ideology. Except this ideology is the absence of all ideology. How do I know?? I know I have to Awaken to find out. But even if I see the truth in a psychedelic trip or self-inquiry session. How do I know it's not "my brain" playing tricks on me. Maybe all anti-materialism stuff is just as bad as Christians believing that Atheists don't know the truth. What is it about the Awakening experience that makes you Absolutely sure it's not something that you are conceptualizing on a level you are not aware of? Like someone saying "OOOhhh...this planet is just floating in Space-Time! This must be the Truth!" I know there must be a truth out there, and that all falsehoods lead there. But could there not be a "Truth" beyond what you guys experienced? An even deeper insight? What makes it feel more TRUE than any other TRUTH?
  6. @Someone here Cool. You found a nice new box to place reality into. Neat. You'll have to unpack that one too eventually though. No rush
  7. Lol I already was writing "that = this" and then you added last sentence ? Lol. I see why silence is important in this work. Really that's all this work really is, is deconstucting all thought, beliefs, and words until you get to "I" and "this" and "that", then you deconstuct "those" and then can't say anything at all. Just be. At Peace.
  8. "I" was thinking this as "I" wrote it. But "we" need to use words sometimes. Or there wouldn't be a forum. But "I" understand.
  9. @WaveInTheOcean Wow. Amazing post man. Thanks for taking the time to address these questions thoughtfully. My deepest gratitude to you. I will have to sit and meditate on everything you have just said. I notice that I keep wanting to ask more questions, but answers would just be more of you pointing at something. I have everything I need. I will turn my focus from Knowing to Not-Knowing and see where that goes. Thanks again. P.S. Jon Hopkins is amazing. I'm a musician and he speaks in my language. He resonates in ways that words cannot. @Nahm Thanks for the wisdom. I do recognize that all of those thoughts of ego’s, programming, having a long way to go, not being “enlightened”, being scared, being honest, are all still the narrative. I will have to work on surrendering all that. Nothing is personal. It's just guidence my friend. I'm grateful for the perspective shift. Bang on. That's how I know that I'm guided towards Truth. When I do surrender the story, that's when I enjoy life the most. ?
  10. I've taken mushrooms and felt the connectedness and the Love of everything, and that's sort of where I'm at with day to day life too. I've accepted all of reality, even the "bad" stuff. But I don't think I've ever even come close to Awakening. But I sort of do see the world as some awakened people talk about it I think. I "feel" the egos of everyone around me. I can see the collective ego's dance in society. I feel like an observer of life, and I witness the Impermenance of it all, and I feel the Love in all of it. But I'm just not sure how close awakening is, because as you can tell, I just talked about myself a lot here. Maybe people who are truely awakened aren't thinking about what they are like. And just be it. Right?
  11. That's the thing. I don't feel like I'm just believing the things anyone is telling me. It's an understanding coming from somewhere else. This understanding is guiding me to question everything I am, and everything that I think, even thinking itself, and the notion of Truth. I don't know how to surrender that. That's why I'm here asking these questions. Looking for answers that will help me guide my focus towards what I already "know" is there. It doesn't feel like the I (as in the ego) knows it. It feels more like something knows it and it's letting the I know. But that could be more ego masking How do you surrender the "I know what Infinity means" to reach the actual thing?
  12. Oooo. That's the stuff right there. Great answer. Thanks. Can I trust the fact that I "know" intuitively what everyone is talkng about when they speak of Infinity/Oneness/Love/God/Consciousness? Because, even though I'm still questioning it, I'm drawn to it. I've seen that dissolving the ego and embracing Love of everthing will ease suffering. But I don't know if I need to 'go all the way' into full-god mode. But I can't help myself-I seem to be heading there anyways
  13. Right. I get that. Thanks for the perspective ?
  14. Right. I get that I won't get until I see it for myself. I guess I'm just trying to "prepare for it" lol I just struggle to surrender that something that a lot of people say is the Truth can ever be "known" to be the truth if we continue to deconstruct. But I guess it's just, when you know, you know, kinda thing. ?
  15. @SoonHei wow. That's the best I've ever heard anyone explain it. Thanks for that perspective on it. It really helps. I guess. What I'm saying is, what if you're looking for London, someone tells you you're in London, but you're actually in Berlin. Then you'd be lost for a while. Haha But I understand. Thanks again.
  16. @Leo Gura But how does absoluteness feel different from any other thing that seems final. When I learned about Atoms and the Big Bang it "felt" absolute....like that "WHOA" feeling...until I started learning about spirituality ? I guess it must be a sense we've never used before. Or else everyone would know what absolute means ?
  17. How do you know is not "just something that I've never experienced before" Like the first time you orgasm. It kind of scares you. Like "What the hell was that?" It feels great, but it ain't the end all be all of existence. But you end up understanding that it is what it is. Lol
  18. So is Awakening a feeling? Is it a knowing? Is it some other sense that people who haven't awakened aren't aware of? What makes someone who comes back from an awakening so sure what they experienced was the truth if whatever your mind conjures up about it just a thought?
  19. I'm not afraid of the Lake. I'm afraid of the current that'll take me away from the shore forever. I sure like staring at the Lake though.
  20. How has awakening changed your lives? How have you been able to "hack" your reality. Can you basically manifest anything you want in your life? Can you basically manipulate "the code" of this video game we are in, so to speak? I'm at a line in my development. And I'm a bit scared to be honest. On one hand, I'm content in my understanding and my life is in a balance right now. But I've also been wondering if I should go "all the way". People say it scares the hell out of them, and it's hard to integrate. Intuitively, I know that it's all imaginary, and we are all One. But do I actually want to "see" it? I know I'm holding on to my life. But I love my friends, I love my family, I love the world as it is. And I don't want that stuff to change. But I also have a curious mind. And I'd like to "see" it for myself.
  21. Very interesting. Thanks for sharing
  22. Right on. Did you have the non-dual glimpse by just following the breath? Or was there self-inqiry with it?
  23. I have some mushrooms I forgot were in a travel bag from about 9 months ago. They're wraped in cling wrap. Wondering if they're still good? Do they diminish in potentcy or anything?
