  1. Hey guys, I noticed that I fail to integrate insight. Today for example, I had an insight into how my life was a game and I created my own problems to play the game. However, as time went on the insight became to fade. The “ah hah!” Moment started to dissipate. This isn’t the first time it has happened—I feel like whatever insight I have vanishes and it means nothing after. How have you guys integrated your insights? I noticed even from psychedelic trips I could not integrate insights. Any advice is appreciated.
  2. @UnbornTao @Sugarcoat @Terell Kirby Thanks guys!
  3. @Salvijus will do, thank you.
  4. Hey guys, was just looking for tips on what to do when you backslide. I've been doing self-inquiry for the past two months and I had a couple of breakthrough experiences, my self-inquiry sessions were going well and then suddenly I was hit by confusion/frustration. I can no longer focus during self-inquiry either. Heres what I've done since: Mindful Meditation (to increase focus/mindfulness) Shortened my self-inquiry time during sessions. Cut back a bit on non-dual material. Any tips? Thanks!
  5. Hey everyone, I've noticed that when I get into deep self-inquiry and cannot locate who I am, I feel a sensation running through my whole body almost as if it was trying to jump out of my body literally. It is like energy trying to get out, and then it stops when it hits its peak. Then I come back down to my normal state of awareness. Does anyone else ever feel that or know what it is?
  6. Hello all. I have been on and off with practicing personal development for years. I used to be able to meditate for 20 minutes a day, now I can barely stand 3 minutes. I have been practicing non-duality since 2016 but I have wasted around 4-5 years back sliding and going through life unconsciously. I try to build habits slowly, but still eventually fail and fall back into old habits. I find it odd because I've had a few enlightenment experiences, including one on LSD but I can't even get close to how conscious I used to be. I'm tired of knowing what I want to pursue in life (consciousness work) but am unable to maintain habits after a few months of practice. I've watched Leo's homeostasis video, and have a strong theoretical background as I've read many non-duality books and watched videos--but in practice, I can do only 0.1% of it. Any tips? Thank you all.
  7. I like both theories, second one feels like a big possibility. Thanks for your input, its nice to come to the forum and hear out more experienced people speak on the topic!
  8. Hello, I've been practicing Kriya Yoga for only a few weeks. However, I've noticed some noticeable benefits, I noticed I don't want to consume porn or masturbate nearly as much as I use to. Did anyone else go through this, is it temporary or does it last? I'm not complaining at all, was just curious if anyone else went through this as well. Thanks, Sukh

  10. I found mine through volunteering, try finding an area you may be interested in then volunteer in it. Most convenient way of finding which work place you want to spend your life in.
  11. For me personally, I volunteered in multiple places. The places I enjoyed volunteering the most, I of course was also successful at them. Then I reflected, how was I successful in those experiences? I observed what came up. For example, I volunteered as a teaching assistant. Through that, I found I am very skilled with children, communication, assisting others, expression, leading by example, etc. Try it out! Good luck, its a process.
  12. One tip; never ask questions that can be answered with a yes or no. Always ask open ended questions, and try to relate to them.
  13. Thank you everyone for your input, it is greatly appreciated. I stopped doing kriya yoga 3 days ago hopefully I get better. @korbes I am currently on vacation in India, I’ll go back home to Canada later this week and I’ll double check the book and let you know which exercises I am doing.
  14. @Salvijus Well whatever it is, it is driving me crazy literally. I’m scared I’m gonna be like this forever
  15. @nistake possibly, I feel the dark side of meditation video applies moreso. If I keep doing Kriya Yoga I feel almost sure that I will harm myself. Maybe as an ego I am way too immature at the moment to take on Kriya Yoga
