Luckily they can amongst many other things, our brain is so amazing. We spend so much money on researching the world around us but how can we truly understand it without understanding our brain first?

@King Merk I love your thinking, just try to remove all “noise” and go directly to the source or nature of it. Language is man(women?) made, it’s a great tool to communicate and a bit of a short cut for the memory. You can actually think in images, sounds etc. Whatever you choose to receive through your senses, you can retrieve back. But of course there's probably so much more to it.

@JakeyAwakey I’ve done my degree and it did pay out for a short while before I started deviating too much and therefore annoying my bosses. I got pushed into having my own business. Also, couple of years ago I wanted to learn coding and went to a city college. I lasted 6 weeks (haha) because one of the teachers decided to trick me into failing because I was doing my own thing. I decided that in formal education there’s some good things that are useful but a lot of “extra” things that aren’t worth it. I learnt on my own and within four months I finished my first database app. The moral of the story: If you need/want to deviate, there’s nothing wrong with it, just be sure to know what you’re doing, you will face resistance from others and be prepared to deal with. Also, doing your own way means figuring things out on your own, there’s not many people that can advise you.

Maybe it's glutamate, we have quite an abundance of it, we just need to know how to use it.

I’ve got this idea for AI, that’ll be really interesting to play with, I can’t wait. Ok, let’s get this app done first, it doesn’t have to be perfect, it just has to have the logic and workings in it. Let’s face it, I can’ do everything, others can do the “fancy” stuff. If I put myself into it, it can be finished in a month or so, maybe earlier and then I can play with AI! yay

I can't wait to have the app done so I can repay my "spiritual" debts haha

@FuriousGeorge I’m a tomboy girl, no point in hiding it, it shows! I’m trying to imagine that my partner has the same problem as you do. I love my partner and I want him to be happy so if he suggested some ideas that aren’t criticizing my personality, I’d do it for him. I like @Anna1 ’s lace nightie idea, you just need to ask it as a big favour rather than imply any criticism. Do not expect personality change though, only we can change our personality and even then it’s bloody hard.

Yep, it's not all truth, just a little bit. I already live in little bit of a "heaven" and I'm sorry that your circumstances aren't "heavenish" yet.

We watched it too, very interesting, a lot of things to "analyse". (excuse my quirks haha) And thank you, I wouldn't have come across it otherwise.

Material purposes are part of the Truth. I'd focus to find the Truth that relates to material purposes first and once you set yourself up and get bored you can go into the "deeper" stuff.

@ivankiss I love your attitude, there's still so much to know and learn. I actually think that there's no end, we can always go deeper and deeper into the Truth. The way I see it is that God is constantly giving us lessons. It's really hard to tell you what your lessons are and their solutions, you got the closest perspective. What I do, I try to see the lesson and then change what I do and see whether I still got the same lesson or whether I've done it "right" and got what I wanted. So keep playing with different things and you'll get there!

@ActualizedDavid The way I see it is that everything is predetermined through cause and effect. To create a new cause you have to change something now and you will get a different effect. If you keep doing what you have always been doing, you will keep getting what you have always been getting. I strongly believe that all our actions start with our thoughts (and eventually become habits) so to change your “cause” and therefore "effect" you need to change the way you think and that will change the way you act and that will change what you get back.

Nobody likes being wrong but if we're not getting or progressing towards what we want, we are doing something wrong and need to fix it.
