  1. Do you see animals treating their offspring differently based on their gender? They let the nature do its own thing, they do not condition them to be certain way.
  2. I live in Australia and I wouldn't move anywhere else. Very relaxing, easy going, multicultural, safe. The only thing is as @Joel3102 says there is "tall poppy syndrome" that sometimes destroys good things. Hopefully, Australia will "grow" out of it.
  3. Thank you everyone for your replies, quite interesting.
  4. @Emerald @Nickyy It’s interesting how different conditioning can make men and women that different. Just the fact that girls get dolls and boys get trucks as toys can create unnecessary differences and confuse it for everyone. Deep inside we are all same, it’s just our reproductive organs that are different.
  5. Me too, sometimes we need a wake up call.
  6. That’s a great advice but I still think that it’s wasted on some people. Some people think that they know everything and that their failures aren’t their fault because they are perfect and everything is someone else’s fault. These people are getting what they deserve.
  7. You're going from an extreme to extreme. Try to at least find a balance, overcorrecting doesn't work.
  8. Here's your problem. We can sense when you're with us just because you want sex. There's more to a relationship than that, even though sex is very important (50%?). Why do you have to drop it? It got you that far, why to drop something that works?
  9. Are you a girl to know that?
  10. Mahatma Gandhi: You must be the change you wish to see in the world.
  11. @Proactive Don't let us influence you, you're doing great! I'm always intrigued by originality. Thank you
  12. Enough theory, it's action time!
  13. Human imagination is limitless haha
  14. This is the biggest problem I have with men. Somehow, they assume they know what is in our heads and don't listen what we actually say. They think they know us better than we know ourselves. We all are human beings, our brains work the same, we didn't come from a different planet and we don't need anyone to tell us what we think, we know what we think.
  15. This is a very superficial view. We are all beautiful in different ways. If you only go by the physical beauty that only lasts for a portion of your life, you are missing out on a lot! Intelligence is a skill, everyone can be smart. Maybe you should try that too
  16. I find it so sad when people give up on happiness. Happiness is real, it does exist and everyone can be happy. I’ve spend decades on analysing, researching and experimenting with happiness. To get happy, we do need to work on the way we think and do something to get what we want. It’s available to everyone, the problem is that there’s too much generally accepted “good” advice that keep messing people up. We are all born with the ability to be happy, we just need to learn what to do that works for us and stop doing things that don’t work!
  17. It's your life not your parents life. I don't know anything about your parents but usually they try to help out of love but they don't realise that times have changed. Sometimes, they forget that their lessons in life are different to new generations lessons. If they really love you, all they want for you is to be happy and live your life the way you want and learn your own lessons. Also, the progress of society is based on people doing things differently, don't worry about society, worry about what works for you.
  18. I LOVE NICE GUYS! THEY ARE THE BEST! AND GIRLS THAT DON'T LIKE NICE GUYS AREN'T WORTH YOUR ATTENTION! END OF STORY!
  19. Yes, you're right. All you need to do is to follow YOUR path to happiness! We are all unique, different things work for us. Don't let anyone dictate what you should and shouldn't do to make yourself happy.
  20. @Voladores Do whatever works for you. Maslow's hierarchy is based on happy and successful people so you might miss out on some things but we are all unique and we can make up for it in other areas.
  21. @Revolutionary Think There's surely a lot of space for improvement. But this is not only about psychology, it's also about what people want. A lot of people want a "quick fix" without changing anything about themselves. So even if there's a good psychologist, he/she will still struggle to be listened to.
  22. I'm watching you!
  23. God gave us the ability to be happy and create a better life for ourselves. It's up to us whether we use it and what we do with it.
  24. If you make a special agreement to do that (and everyone agrees) then it's fine but based on accounting principles you would split it equally by 3 based on the contribution, not on the cost of funding the contribution. It would be unfair to the 3rd person as that person is missing out on profit just because the other two don't have savings and have to borrow. Have a look at it this way. Imagine that you buy stocks in a company together with thousands of other people. Does you dividend depend on whether you borrowed the money to buy the stock with? No, everyone still gets the same dividend based on the size of the investment whether they borrowed money to buy it or not.
