What if this entire process was not the right way to get to the truth? Under which mode of thinking could we find the truth? Under which scientific process could the truth be proven beyond doubt? There's tons of high-level people in society who would swear they have the truth and that they had a private supernatural experience with Jesus and that the truth is the Christian doctrine. The same could be said about every other religion. There's also tons of of people who have encountered ghosts and other supernatural beings in all parts of the world. The % is very high. Then there's the scientific process which uses language, senses and material objects under a very specific rule-set to understand reality. All of them have the common denominator of using their senses, language and additional to science, material objects. So ultimately all we have is the self and the objects in reality to understand the truth about the entire universe and ultimately ourselves. So to conclude the truth is about finding out why this very moment is occurring. Why this very exact present moment is occurring in which this question is? Which process will lead to the right answer ? All you have is your senses and sensations and an ability to think and do. Remember that right now your sensing the world only through a limited human perspective.

@Serotoninluv Everything you just wrote is just a set of symbols stringed together to create a very specific thought process in which you proclaim holds the truth. Are you claiming that letting go of control is the truth or that it will lead us towards the truth?

@Serotoninluv All those approaches are there to sooth a pain, none of them gets you to the truth. Forget every book you've read or lectures you've attended or spiritual work you've done or teachers you've personally met. Here we are questioning why this very present moment is occurring in which this question is? Why this very question is arising in this very specific context? There might be a major blind spot that most people are overlooking.

This is not mental masturbation, this is a very high-level form of inquiry. Here we are questioning why this very moment in which a discussion between me and you is happening. Which mode of thinking will be able to reverse engineer the entire process to the true story? Don't pull the causality card or the ego card. This is a very advanced thread for meta thinkers. @TheAvatarState Didn't pour lye, but i did left my hand in freezing cold snow until my hand became purple. All the resistance , all the mental gymnastics that the mind goes through during this period is enormous. Time broke, all my beliefs started to break, and all that there was was this burning sensation with thoughts trying to make me pull my hand out. But right before i was about to lose my hand, i discovered my true self and i became enlightened at that moment using this very technique. This is was broke the camels back. I am now walking/talking/thinking without an ounce of resistance.

@Igor82 You have to do it until you have a near-death experience, the self is sneaky and hidden and doesn't reveal itself unless you go in for the kill. Make sure to take your precautions. No one wants to approach enlightment this way because it's too-direct and most people are scared.

@Damir Elezi Not a thought experiment, you will physically come in contact with the self. Note, i'm not saying you are your hand, but your hand can be used to discover your true self. All of you can do this right now, make this a priority right now and you'll see what i'm talking about. So we've got snow, lye and ummm.. if you don't have access to any of those 2 use a faucet turned at a hot/cold temperature or a hot stove ( not recommended ) . Extremely easy, and better than looking at your hand or praying/meditating. You immediately re-connect with your true-self. You can do this every day until it clicks that you are a self within a no-self and you will reach enlightenment at a fast rate.

@NoSelfSelf Put your right hand in some snow until you begin to die from hypotermia if needed, right before you physically die you will wake up and discover that everything that was taught to you from within the domain of language was false. You will have many objections coming up as your hand begins to freeze, like oh it's just a human hand at 36.5c and snow at a lower temperature so the molecules in my hand are sending signals to my brain blah blah blah... keep going until you begin to scream and surrender to it and you will come in contact with the self.

The entire fabric of reality is completely empty. There was never a process of nothingness going into somethingness, there was always nothing. This is nothing. This moment is not something and before this there was nothing, this is a false paradigm. This very moment is absolutely nothing. This is what nothing looks like. Also there's no one here, this is a scary feeling... there's absolutely no one here. No one is reading this, no one will reply, and no one wrote this. Stage green is too open, too trusting and too loving that it forgets that reality can be an extremely dangerous place. This is why stage orange is extremely resistant towards moving to stage green. Stage orange is mostly about maximizing the SELF's ability at survival through materialism while stage green is the opposite of that, and i strongly believe that stage green should only be transitioned with great caution. It's too big of a leap for only a 1 stage transition. This is trend that just keeps repeating itself over and over again, we keep seeing stage orange people transition to stage green and then those people go in remote dangerous locations wanting to spread their love and happiness and philosophy of life and they end up getting killed. The answer would be that most people in North America/Europe never actually went through stage Beige/Purple/Red, they immediately started off as a stage orange person so they never got to learn and implement the lessons of the stages below it and therefor are ignorant. Those 2 Scandinavian Women were born into a stage green environment , this is what they knew their entire lives.
