Yog replied to LfcCharlie4's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
From what I understand as of now, and most of this understanding has not yet been verified and tested in my personal experience. The spiritual reason for not eating meat is mostly technical and not, or way less ethical/moral. I've heard couple of yogis and couple of channels elaborating on this. This inspired me to try and see things in that way. Still I need to test this. Here are some that I remember. Timestamped: Pardon for the click-bait thumbnail. -

Here is something to think about. You can be others/world focused and be selfish. You can be self-focused and be selfless. The opposite of selfishness is not altruism. The opposite of selfishness is self-love. Only if one is truly able to self-love, one would be able to love the world, as it is. The problem with most altruistic movements and mindsets is that they are not grounded in self love but in fear. This leads to selfish forms of altruism, where one tries to change people to be like oneself, or expects something back for his "services". True altruism is grounded in self-love, which paradoxically is selfless, that's your saints, your jesus and all So in a way, if you want to become truly altruistic, the proper direction is within yourself, learn acceptance and boundless self love. -
Meh, Idk. Most archaeological work is done/studied locally. That is the best way it can be studied. It kind of sucks when someone takes stuff from middle of your research space and locks it in his private home collection. It just doesn't vibe. With museums, its a bit better I guess. You'll just have to travel for your local meant stuff.

Man, t2 can be boring they just talk about stuff, or not talk at all. Where is the faitin, the conquest !

@Lyubov As you said man, they are stolen. We know what we do with stolen stuff. I remember having to study some local bronze age artifacts, but I could never do it, I could not get to them because they were in London, or New York. It suxed. Lets say Its a sign of respect and a demonstration of a will to cooperate, play together, show well manners.

@seeking_brilliance Beeep, beeeep. Good evening host. I carry a question A question about the direct approach if you are familiar with it. How do you deal with the chaos around the vibrational stage. Especially with the excitement-fear cocktail and unconscious tensing of the body. It seems to break the state for me almost every time. Can you describe your mind/being space there ? Or what do you do to achieve a better and more guaranteed transition from the void state to the vibrational state ? Atm I am mostly interested in the direct method and the phasing method. I found passive methods to be very easy and effective but taxing on the mind, so that is why I am avoiding those. I want to just lie down and do it. I am also practicing it quite diligently. The vibrational state/Focus 21 being the furthest point I got with it. -
That's the normal rat !!

This is bizarre... something out of a cyberpunk novel.

@charlie cho Good luck and beware blessed one. Your ego wont like it hehe. It can get addictive too, so there is that. @DocWatts Damn that game gives me nostalgia, I cant wait for Bellow Zero. Its actually the game that inspired me to grow stuff. Now I have a couple of plants around the house, might turn into food soon Its also been one of the most effective horror games for me, going deep into the dark with that clumsy low power paper seamoth and you hear a leviathan scream. Max fun/no fun!

Man.... Notion... Notion is porn. It would be unwise to skip looking into it.

If one actually watches a pre 2018 Leo video and than watches a JP lecture and extracts the message. It wont be very difficult to conclude that there is 90% overlap. As I see it this is probably the prime reason why people around here tend to never criticize his ideas, but instead just attack his character. Its saddening to see this on a personal development forum at times, on the other hand its a good shadow work study material.

@Axiomatic Because they won the war, naturally all the blame and demonization went to Hitler. He is the perfect scapegoat. History is written by the victors.

Your zodiac sign is just a small overarching fraction of your personality. Its better to analyze your natal chart to extract the nuance. In order for you to do this you need to know your birth time and place. You can add your info into this free software for that and it will generate a natal chart: http://www.zaytsev.com/downloads.html It should look something like this, you can right click>interpretation on stuff to get what stuff means. You can click on planets, aspects, houses, nodes and most stuff. Fun tip: When you find where your north and south node are, research a bit more. You might get leg shaking insights on your karma and dharma. Past life-this life linkage to be more exact. Its a gateway to another natal chart

@Keyhole Hah I can see how it can be true. I have a couple of INFP and ENTJ friends, its tough love between them. Cant say much for romantic relationships Btw as an INTJ I always have a wacky and crazy connection with INFPs, its always good and deep stuff, I even have a crush on an INFP girl haha. The same applies for ENFPs. Very compatible. Top 3 for sure compatibility wise

This memes have decided that ENTJ is the ideal INFP match for personal growth.

Idk how will you take this. Its basically a sandbox survival simulator, its RTS and RPG too, you can play with 1 char, or 300, you can roam the massive world, or build your civilization, fight, trade, farm, sell weed, whatever you want. The game is not limiting you in your play-style. Its set in a stage red, with a bit of emerging blue enormous open world. Its post apocalyptic mad max + spaghetti western + samurais. You are thrown into the world and you are weak, anyone can beat you. You are no hero in this game, you have to be smart to survive. The game has 0 objectives, all meaning making is up to you. The game is a simulation, there is nothing scripted, its all up to you. Difficult things will happen, you will run a lot, get beaten, taken into slavery, taken by cannibals, racists, have your leg eaten alive. This is the point where you realize, why did people decide to team up and how societies came to be, how much better is it to play with 2-4 chars than with one. You break your leg alone in the middle of the desert, you are done. Once you die in this game, its done, no re spawns. Got a lot of great insights from it about the difficulties governments face, policing, economies, survival.... ect. It was also great for exploring my shadow side. This game having not many constraints will let your shadow pop up. If nothing else, this game will make you hard as a nut. It will punish you very hard for every mistake. Its not shy about that.

This could be us, but you: Or this: Btw thought I would share this. I can say the INTJ part of it is extremely accurate. I feel the INTP explanation is on spot as well.

Probably a rare blend of both. Exposing shadows, ironies and paradoxes in a borderline comedic way. Its extremely difficult to expose and point towards such things in a serious manner. People just engage their shields as soon as someone touches their shadow and fight back. Well.... comedy and other forms of art bypass this shield at times. it probably has to do something with his personality too ofc People are weird...

You are mistaken ! We will brew it together!

For some time it will fester and grow. We got a new player on the stage, its stage green. Its important to note that is also very novel and juvenile. It was baby in the 80s now its teen. The old players will resist all green ideas, especially funky green ideas and will force green to painfully grow up and crystallize and be able to give positive practical examples, they will do this by criticizing, resisting and growing themselves in turn, they are not moving one inch and will grow in size, in spot. In this sense, green is the hero, dying repeatedly at the dragon-boss atm, And the blue/orange are the old and decrepit king that once was all wise, but now is part wise and part corrupted, mad and resistant to change. The hero needs to bring form out of chaos and and bring it in front of the old king, so its light can be undeniable. Its important that Theoden does not die in the process too. There are also very important generational factors that go into the mix. The other alternative is well known, its war and than we fall back quite a bit before we can rise back.

It is a novel idea that is on the chopping block of the collective consciousness atm. The best way would be to take it away from the post modern bubble and see how and which parts stand and play together with other perspectives. Sadly enough what I see now is that the practical proponents of it are locked in a bubble and are not willing to get out, the ones attacking it are doing exactly the same. Its still too early to say anything, its an idea that is in its juvenile phase, so the mess is to be expected. We'll see how will it turn out in a decade of two.
