@charlie cho Its mostly about the way you design your empire, you have a lot of parameters, such as ethics, or authority. You can design it to be an egalitarian, xenophile, individualist and pacifist, full democracy type of civilization, or lets say you can design it to be spiritualist, xenophobe, militarist type. Each of these stats morph your attributes and force you to play in your designed style. Its a background game mechanic thing. Glad you liked Kenshi. Its almost a monument of the mechanisms that wake up hidden potential in us. The game in a way is very neutral, but the world it is set in is so harsh that you start doing weird stuff you thought you wouldn't do having a "choice". You start the game and think, well I'll build a peaceful walled city, produce food, help the world, but in due time you'll be peeling peoples skin off and nailing them to crosses, just so you mark your territory and scare raiders away. And you'll love it. A potential spoiler and a friendly traveling tip: Holy nation are 100% racist, if you have any non white green-lander male characters in your squad, they will enslave you, unless you tell them that your squad mates are your slaves. The paladins are fanatic and can chase you for hours, lol.

But do you see how mass immigration and diversity to the point of minimal overlap activates dormant/sleeper ethno-nationalism in people, many of whom are not right wingers ? Right wing motives are a result/effect of this, not a creator. They serve more as an amplifier, not a generator. I mean even part of the far right in Europe is not against immigration, that is not the problem most people have with it. What most are against is : -Mass immigration. -Illegal/uncontrolled immigration. -Confusing migrants with refugees. -Migrants/Refugees refusing to integrate. -Incomparable values resulting in social unrest. -Ideological politicians acting as if nothing is going on.

This guy is working so hard to misunderstand him. Out of all the valid things to criticize about JP, people just get stuck in their projections and miss the mark. If I see you totally and constantly miss the target, than I might get the impression that there is no target at all and that you are shooting at empty air. Or at best just stop caring about the target. Why take the time to aim, why do precision shooting, when you can just mindlessly shoot. This does not make a bad target, it makes a bad archer. This makes some of JPs "wrong" positions, many of which actually have to be criticized, feel even more valid in the eyes of people, just because the archer is so bad.

Hm, isn't Love in a way just acceptance for any form of being and letting/making it express itself regardless of what it might do. That ending gives me heavy shivers and unexplained tears every time. Especially that final scene, where we see open eyes for the first time. Highly suggested. The same guys are making another one. Cant wait for it to come out.

I use LeechBlock extension for Firefox, the Chrome alternative is StayFocused. I block everything, all web pages all the time, except some that I consider important like: Banking, ordering food, google drive, work check in/out, lets say. LeechBlock has an override option. I have set it to allow all web sites for 20 minutes. In order to engage the override I have to manually type a 64 random char password that LeechBlock generates. If I want to completely change the options and allow everything, I have to retype a random character password, I have the screenshot of the password locked in a password protected archive, which in turn is located in a password protected USB. This puts environmental pressure on me and because it is such a big torture to get to the internet. I just do not do it. I am trying to have an hour, or two a day where I can purposely and intentionally use it. Not just click around mindlessly . Sometimes I engage the override, find the videos I want to watch before the time expires, line them up in couple of browser tabs and watch them that way. If a video ends, or the tab is refreshed, it will get blocked. Works quite good. No mindlessness.

In a way its almost like trying to hatch from an egg, while not wanting to break the egg shell, and on top of that wanting to carry it along with you. I feel that expansion is more of an effect/result of inner work and not necessarily a state to be directly pursued, its something that naturally happens as you unclog yourself. Clogged psyche will get lost in the labyrinth of mirrors and neurotically pursue expansion. While neurotical inner work will lead to the stuff that he described. Anyway I enjoyed the video. Just didn't like the part where he tries to make it one-directional.
