  1. @Michael569 That's a solid advice!! I think it is also necessary. There are so many different opinions outthere from so many 'experts'. Even if you careful read all the studies you still won't have the whole picture. For example some suggest to avoid dairy alltogether while others say that it's not that bad for you. There is so much debate around health & nutrition and so lil we know.. I try to be open-minded while trusting my intuition also.
  2. @Javfly33 Yeah i tend to agree with you. If i am being honest with myself i can't find any good reason to keep drinking rather than it is a pleasurable drug for me. That's the bottom line i think. It is a drug and people like it very much.
  3. I am currently on day 4 of my water fasting. Yesterday i went to the bathroom and defecated a lil bit which was kinda Surprising to me after 3 days of no food. I hear many people on YouTube talking about sh*t that can stay in your system and prevent your body sometimes from absorbing the minerals it needs. I am thinking to take a laxative while fasting. Is this a good idea??
  4. @Hello from Russia Dave Asprey promotes coffee and claims is very good on fasting also because it has polyphenols and helps feed the good bacteria in your gut.
  5. @BipolarGrowth A mentor in general. If i had to choose i would say a mentor in self-actualization. Someone that will help me stay on the right track.
  6. I have heard countless times how it is very important to have a mentor in your life. Personally i don't have the luck to be surrounded by people who i really aspire to look like.... How can i find a high-quality mentor in my life? What should action should it take?
  7. I hear many non-dual people say that Everything happens for no reason whatsoever. But i don't get this.. If E v e r y t h i n g happens for no reason then how am i sitting here , in this room, typing all this sh*t?? Does the Sun shine for absolute no reason or does it shine so we can have life on this planet we call Earth? Leo has talked about how everything is created with Infinite Intelligence and how many trillions of things need to work together in order have life on this planet. This suggests that there is a reason for the sun's existance for example. My anus for example exists for a very specific reason. Of course i can use it for other purposes as well (lol). But I don't understand what people mean when they say that there is no reason behind anything. This does not make sense to me and it seems absurd.. Reality desires every possible experience. That's the reason behind everything i think.
  8. @Michael569 Thank you for the quality information. Damn there is a LOT of misinformation on the internet....
  9. @Flowerfaeiry Yes i agree on that. Generally i take every advice with a grain of salt nowadays.. I am taking sodium and magnesium despite his recommendations. Why shouldn't i take the laxative though? I believe i can get some more waste out this way..
  10. @The0Self Ok. Thank you. I won't take potassium then probably. I saw a video from a Youtuber Dorian Wilson proposing it in one of his fasting videos.
  11. I am doing a water-fast and i am gonna eat 2-3grams of salt and take potassium and magnesium supplements. I have heard to take potassium chloride. But does it really matter what form of potassium i take? This study seems to suggest that it doesn't really matter: https://www.ahajournals.org/doi/pdf/10.1161/01.HYP.0000158264.36590.19 This is the potassium supplement i have. It is potassium gluconate. Can i take this instead of potassium chloride?
  12. @Village I don't buy this. First time i took a cold shower after a long time, i had caughs, almost closed throat and other signs of being cold. The next days i continued the cold showers, there was no more closed throat or anything like that. That is a sign of an improved system to me. Not the otherwise.
  13. Is it safe to take cold showers for my brain? I have been taking cold showers on and off for the last 8 months. Recently i pour a lot of cold water to my head for quite long periods of time.
  14. After i've heard about the recent suicide incident from a member of this forum i wonder isn't Mahasamdhi a form of suicide? Leo in your Outrageous Experiment video you've talked about how tempting it was to accept the call for leaving your body. Isn't that a form of suicide like jumping off a bridge?
  15. After watching Leo's recent God-realisation video, i don't know what to make of some of the things he said... Leo has talked multiple times about how he is me and everyone else. He has talked that everyone is God and that as God i will experience everything. After all this, now he is telling that everyone is imaginary and kinda denying that others even exist. Which i don't understand, i don't get all. Saying that everything is imaginary is the same as saying that everything is real. It makes no difference. I can't know if Leo or my mum has a conscious experience or not but i think it is safe to assume that others do experience things also. I think Leo sometimes doesn't give a good-enough explanation on some of his topics. I don't know what to make out of all this.
  16. I watched Leo's new video talking about how there are no others to teach and all of that is an illusion... Ok i can understand that if only God exists then there are no others to God But still there are multiple bubbles of experience. I am having my experience, Leo is having his, you are having your own and etc. That's why it is useful to teach others and improve their lifes. You can't deny their experiences and their suffering. That's why the bodisattva vow is very important to me and i don't consider it a self-deception.
  17. @Shin If there is no other's consciousness , then are you not conscious right now? I bet you exist also and have your own experiences that i am not aware of that this moment.
  18. @DIDego I am just doing a 'normal' cold shower using my bath. I have no idea about the temperatures.
  19. @Leo Gura In your video ('Dangers of Spiritual Work') you have talked about that if someone will go All the way with spirituality then at the end he will have to surrender his entire life. This sounds like suicide. Also i don't think someone who commits suicide , regrets it.
  20. @Nahm I believe Infinite Intelligence is all there is and it is appropriate to call God that. Yes God is a mystery but 'his' intelligence cannot be denied just by the fact of how everything perfectly works without a single glitch.
  21. I've had a non-dual discussion with a friend of mine. He is also into non-duality. Anyways as the conservation went further along he concluded to the point that we cannot call God anything. We cannot call him even intelligent because there is nothing to contrast 'him' with. The only meaning intelligence has is by constrasting it with stupidity he said. I disagreed with him. My claim was that God is infinitely intelligent as an Absolute , with no opposite. I said that there is only Intelligence. His position was that we cannot call God any names and we might aswell call 'him' infinitely stupid. I believe he is wrong. What do you guys think? Any opinions?
  22. @Ryan R His position is that it's not accurate to call God any names whatsoever because of non-duality and because every concept collapses. But i disagree with him. Let's imagine that God is just pure ''white'' . I understand that ''white'' gets all its meaning from everything that is non-white. White is constrasted against everything that is non-white. Nevertheless i think that in my scenario where God is just 'white' it would be appropriate to call him 'white'. The color would remain the same no matter how we called it. We could call it whatever but the color of God would not change. Same is for intelligence. Intelligence is all there is. It is like height. We can say that we lack height (we're short) or have too much height (we're tall) but still height is the case. I could not get him to agree with me on that. It seems to me that he doesn't really appreciate what God is..
  23. @Mason Riggle I can imagine in my head a Universe that doesn't work, meaning it has no trees, no humans, no animals, no earth, no water, no art, no music and etc.
  24. @Mason Riggle Intelligence for me is how the Universe works perfectly, seamlessly without any errors or bugs in it. It is obvious for me that God is infinitely intelligent meaning that 'he' has the capacity to create whole planets and galaxies that work perfectly. It is not just some random stuff.
