I think it's the negative emotions themselves that make life feel pointless. By sitting with them, we are making the commitment to work through them and overcome them so we live a life that isn't victim to the negative emotional roller-coaster. It both an immediate and a long-term game. On the short term, when we choose to sit with emotions we are reclaiming our power by acknowledging that we have the capacity of courage and willingness. Allowing emotions begins to defuse and disperse the energy making us less prone to the dysfunctional behavior that the energy creates - whether it's the fear which stops us from moving forward, or anger that makes us want to take it out on ourselves and those around it. For most people on the planet, there is a lot of negative emotions buried within and it will take some time before these complexes are integrated. Each time you sit with a feeling and allow it to process, you are dispersing part of the energy reservoir of that particular feeling/theme, which means you are becoming more free. Eventually these reservoirs are depleted and you won't have those energies come up and they cannot be triggered. If you choose to sit with a bad feeling, then you're going to have bad feelings. If you have bad feelings, it's natural for 'bad' thoughts to occur. Thoughts that make it seem difficult, arduous, pointless - but that's only the manifestation of the very feeling that is being worked with and that will eventually be overcome. Can you see the subtlety in this recognition? The objections to the process are not separate to the very thing that is being overcome. Therefore the expectation if a quick fix, of immediate happiness or something to immediately solve your problems have to be surrendered and replaced with qualities like courage and willingness. It helps to learn more about emotions and how to overcome them because it will provide the understanding and context that will make willingness automatic. Once the mind recognizes that these are directions towards freedom, then it will choose so accordingly to the degree that it's not overcome by the ego's attempts at self preservation (aka telling you it's not worth it.) Without moralizing on the subject, we see two directions - one that leads to growth and one that doesn't. What is the cost of holding on to negative emotions? Nobody is forcing you to deal with your anger, you can choose to ignore and disengage if you wish.

Here OP, I'll throw you an absolute diamond A lot of youtube ASMRtists seem not to make much money despite having huge followings and a willing audience. They just don't understand marketing so they're relying on low margin affiliates or the occasional sponsored video. It's already proven that people are willing to give them money for content but they don't know how to capitalize. Someone who understands funnels could easily become a consultant who builds campaigns for them with a simple free-content opt in, a warming e-mail follow up sequence then a pitch for an exclusive content membership for $20/month for example which could be done via patreon. They've already got the audience of invested people who love em so 99% of the work has already been done for you. A reasonable but low consulting fee would be $300 a month, at which they'd only need 15 conversions before it makes sense for the client to pay for your service. If you're good at making funnels, can help them write their e-mail copy and teach them how to pitch the opt in then I have confidence that you could help them make a lot more money than they're ever paying you. You could very easily manage 10 clients with only a few hours out of your week for an extra 35k/year minus expenses. A minimum viable funnel generally can expect to make 1-2% conversions on an e-mail opt in list BEFORE any upsells or anything else. A lot of the channels have several hundred thousand subs, or in the 1mil+ range, so the most basic funnel you'd need about 1000 optins before the client breaks even, and anything beyond that is pure profit for them. If you're good I tink you could push that conversion rate to 5%, or higher given the unique kind of relationship that viewers have with ASMRtists. If you really know what you're doing, you can confidently approach established channels and tell them you're going to help them make much more money than they're making... and then you actually help them make a lot more money. Fancy that. I wonder how hard it would be to make a sale like that? Harder than selling a single ebook? I would first do this at least once or twice for free to work out the kinks and establish solid testimonials and evidence that you could do it. It would also be very low pressure. You'd only need a few clients and you'd only work with those who have large established audiences so you have the maximum leverage and can make them the most amount of money the fastest. this is just one consulting model Consulting is where the real moneys at

Everyones journey is different but typically when someone dedicates themselves towards a releasing practice, a lot of dense or gross emotions/energy can be processed first as opposed to more subtle stuff. It can feel more physical and in the body. The process is the systematic undoing of the root of the ego. The emotional reservoirs which fuel unwanted feelings and behaviors can take some time to be fully released. They come under the appearance of challenges. I say appearance because while they may seem deep and enduring, often the depth of our problems are illusions of the ego which seeks to preserve itself. Use challenges as an opportunity to marshal your focus and reaffirm your intentions of transformation. Focus on your gains and keep at it. You will experience shifts that will inspire and motivate your journey. -

Yeah it's nothing too out of the ordinary my man. I've shared the experience during releasing. Blockages are released from the energy system and correspond to certain organs so strange things can happen. I've heard of people straight up vomiting doing shadow work. Initial layers of release can be highly physical. Tightness in organs and muscles, pain, tension, itching, shaking or feeling like you need to puke are normal. Or you may not feel anything at all. All valid. Release resistance to any physical phenomena that occur and allow them as they are. You're doing great. -

I like the one where the Buddha called upon all his disciples and took them to a lake for satsang. They all stood around him waiting for his instruction but it did not come. Instead, he reached down into the lake and pulled up a lotus flower which he held gently and quietly before them. He did not say a word. This silence went on for some time as the disciples sat in confusion, until finally Mahākassapa burst out into laughter and said "omg, that is soooooo Buddha." -

I think no problem as long as the teacher is good. I haven't watched the video yet but if Leos suggesting it I'd trust it to be a legit learning source. -
Take it from someone who is extroverted and comfortable in front of crowds: unless you've done it plenty of times before, it is always nerve-racking for everyone the day or week before, so you're not alone, and you shouldn't be concerned about being anxious. Being calm when performing helps, but it isn't necessary. My suggestion is you mentally go through the worst case scenario. "What's the worse thing that could happen?" "And how could it get even worse?" "And even worse still?" and look at them, examine them, and accept them. Allow the franetic buzzing of fear to come up and just be with it to release some of that reservoir. Looking at your specific fears and accepting them will help. And then accept that it'll likely still be scary despite all your best efforts to deal with the emotions and energy. That's okay!

Some practices are more prone to potential misuse than others, depending on intensity and to what degree it's directly working with the energetic system. The problem comes when a lack of proper education, information and precautions are taken, particularly with pranayamas. To prevent unnecessary suffering, practices should be followed as per guided by a proper teacher who knows what they're talking about. Kriya yoga for example isn't something you want to learn on a forum. Misusing certain yoga practices is playing with fire and has potentially severe consequences that can take years to recover from: emotionally, energetically, physiologically. For many kinds of yoga this isn't a concern, for others it is. Misuse can be as simple as doing a practice for much longer than is suggested multiple times a day when it's instructed that one should only practice it once per day, for example. Learn from decent sources, follow instructions carefully, and scale back or pause practices if they're causing disturbing symptoms. Then you'll be gravy! -
Cannabis helps me a lot. When used sporadically, each time I smoke there is generally an upheval of any discomfort or psychic tension that is being held and so it all surfaces which facilitates releasing it. Sometimes it's like a complete surface layer of hypnosis is broken which allows a kind of natural latent intelligence to guide the experience towards greater balance of inner and outer. The degree to the kind of benefit you can get ranges all the way from the negative to highly accelerated, depending on your intention and willingness to drop distractions and shine awareness directly on the inner experience that's occuring and surrendering to it. I have found that repeated daily use quickly reduces the growth quality of it for me personally, and it also makes me want to smoke every day to the point where the substance becomes mildly parasitic, therefore I would advice caution with any repeated use so that it doesn't become an addiction. I think cannabis comes with a tax on mental clarity and sometimes psychic balance. The day after smoking I feel a very real difference in clarity and mental dexterity. I think most people just don't have the mindfulness to notice it.
