What Sadhguru probably points to is you (Alex bliss) can become so conscious that you can realize that you are not your body (far beyond it)

Everything is consciousness. Everything includes body! So, of course consciousness can't leave body because body is consciousness. But Alex bliss may stop be conscious of the body by having anesthesia for example.

Imagine Bob has a dream with bob dream character. Does bob have a free will? Probably not, unless bob realises that he is not just bob, but he is Bob and always was Bob. Now we can say that bob has a free will to dream whatever he wants but as a Bob, not as a bob dream character. Edit: So, essentially, you are asking how to show bob that he is a dream character? I don't know. I would say meditation, yoga, psychedelics is the way. But maybe, as people mentioned, just tell bob to observe his thoughts. It should be clear at some point that bob doesn't create them (the same applies to actions).

@ivankiss I feel you bro. Belief is not the best instrument for letting go of other beliefs. Practices are better suited here, not another belief. But thanks for the reminder that "You are God" or "All is Love" can be easily misused by using them as a shield, by clinging to them.

@VeganAwake I feel like to share with you what @SoonHei was sharing So much has been written about this, but few seem to understand that this supposed Advaita ( Not 2) Siddhant ( philosophical conclusion) has come about due to the mis-translation of the word ‘Maya’ into English. This Sanskrit term does not translate squarely into English as ‘illusion’. There are subtleties to the meaning, which more correctly can be understood as: ‘That which is not’. Which refines the meaning from: the thing only seems to exist... to: that thing is indeed Real— but is not what I think it is. For Adi Shankara, the world is not an illusion— it is indeed real. But it is Maya. And Maya is also Real. It is an eternal power of Brahman (the Divine). It is the power which keeps the experience of the Divine obscured. That obscuration is also obviously indeed Real. So Maya is Real— not an illusion, which implies thinking something is there when it’s not. Well, It IS there!— but it’s not what we think it is. Based on this mis-translation of Sanskrit, the Neo Non Duality movement has been born.

@Leo Gura How can you say that if you never had a direct experience of being a mother (even a father I guess)? Isn't it just a story-telling? I can understand that if I never taken psychedelics I don't want to speak about them (since it will be far away from truth), or tell about sex if I didn't have one, imagine virgin teaches the nature of sex.

@Nak Khid Every language concept is dual. If you say this is a green apple, you separate green apples from "non-green" apples. This is definitely useful if you go to the market and want to buy green apples. But if you want to describe the Truth, it's not possible since Truth is not-dual. In order to understand it you need to realize that you are It, just be. Practices may help here: meditation, yoga, psychedelics. Dual and non-dual is not separate, it's just different sides of the same coin. So, chair is table and chair is not table. Paradoxical? Yeah, magically paradoxical reality. you are God = you are not God
