Imagine, there is a light dimmer, you can increase it by 1%, 1% means 99% of ego/conditioning/reactiveness/ignorance and 1% of seeing of the actual you. Over time, you may reach 51% mark, from that moment the Light can't be unseen anymore, so whatever you do you just is. How to increase the dimmer for this particular movie character? Impossible. Since you are the screen. ? Same here. What worked well is to make the pleasurable coffee setup. The process of coffee making becomes like meditation practice.

The 'thing' that tries to know is ego. Time is illusion, form is formless, formless is form. Pain is pain. You can look on it like intense energy, still you though. Truth feels like joy/peace/happiness. Let go everything that doesn't feel like that. You may just relax as often as you can and sink the attention on Being. ??

Your 'practical' life still remains 'practical' after a self realization, you just know it for what it is, so you can truly appreciate the experience.

To become you have to have at least two things, but luckily there is only one, not even a thing. What is ever-present in your direct experience? Turn your interest there.

@Dark_White 'nothing = something' is just a pointer. To put it differently: form is formless, formless is form. The main point: not two, only one 'thing' is here. Even to say 'one', 'thing', 'is', 'here' is way too much. Don't try to get it conceptually. The very 'thing' that tries to understand it is the obstacle for understanding. Just relax, deep breath, let the attention sink into whatever aware of now.

@Nahm Yeah, levels seem so safe zone from the ego's perspective. It's like 'I am better than that guy, but I need to work hard to be like Ramana'. Levels are basically the same belief that 'I am the body'. So, the link can be made between 'a body' and a particular level. There is no ego's perspective though, just a mirage.
