  2. 6th day on pure water. Tonight I got hungry. I have read so many words.. what is the meaning of all this talk? The books, the quotes, the enlightenment.... the minds spinning, the versatility, the cockiness.. the ME... and the You.. and the They.. and the Us.. Seems so out this world. My world. Mind doesn't want to linger in the past anymore. Mind doesn't want more words. Mind is playing around silly... The nothingness ...the emptiness, the I am... being trashed by fingers typing on a piece of plastic.. I love this play. I love these people. I love you God Thank you I love you

  4. Unfortunately, none of this mental understanding will get us to the truth. Only when mind is conquered would you have the open door to the truth of who you really are. From that perspective, the only knowledge you need, is how to undo the knowledge that you already have, so that you are bare of everything you think you know. Here... that. Practical knowledge, intellectual understanding for day to day life will not leave you... but it will be strictly used in the context of practicality
  5. You can see everything with your eyes. Isn't it so? Still, the eyes cannot see themselves. To do that, they need a mirror. 7 billiard mirrors that reflect back to the eyes (and those are just the humans) Have you ever been into one of these? http://asylums.insanejournal.com/carnaval_ooc/38490.html
  6. @Saitama, This is one of Papaji's analogies: If a painful thorn enters your foot, you need another thorn to get it out, to remove it from there. Once you have used the thorn (knowledge) to remove the thorn from your foot (what you have already learnt), you will throw both away - not needing any of it anymore. That's enlightenment
  7. @Stretch Oh... you made my heart stop for a bit there with your title
  8. They are ALL beliefs but.....can YOU disbelieve them ?
  9. Technically, yes. My opinion, just for the fun of going into a discussion with no beginning and no end...is that at this point, humanity has too much of a kinda "backlog" of limited beliefs. So even enlightenment, at this point, will not get you to defy gravity, because still the blood in your veins has so much genetic information and beliefs and fears stored in it, it would just not be possible. Hence the analogy of the virgin birth My 2 cents anyway
  10. Everything you learn in self-development only serves for you to un-learn whatever you've learnt by now so that in the end, no learning is left
  11. @JuliaEliza , People usually just read journals... They serve as an example for others and a catarsys (sp?) for ourselves. Write just for yourself
  12. Two famous people that have experienced this: Anita Moorjani and dr. Eben Alexander (YouTube)
  13. It means that you need to look at every detail of your problem as a whole, your complete story, and dismiss what is not truly important, until you only arrive at 3 sentences that express what you feel
  14. @Ryan_047 , I would like to propose an exercise to you if you are up to it? Write down you problem again, in more more than 3 phrases. Encompass it all. As if you wrote a small letter to God. This exercise helped me A LOT when I was having difficulties in my life. Because the more i was cutting off the chatter, the more the problem disappeared. Try it.
  15. No, they are quite separate branches.
  16. Now THAT's a cute tittle
  17. You need to understand that "this kind of ethics" are just a judgement in your head, based on your current perception of duality. (good/bad). Enlightened people are above that. It is not that they don't care. They just don't have the good/bad perspective (illusion) any longer.
  18. This would imply that those are "bad"... That's already the separation/duality model that keeps them alive
  19. Theory is only valuable for you to remove the theory that's already there, so that you are able to throw it all away in the end
