@Blessed81 yeah !

Of course, no doubt about that, but Ego has such a sneaky way of keeping you stuck in the search for the "depth of the subconscious"... People get lost for years and years into that ... Keeping clearing, keeping searching, to neverr arive anywhere in the end. Don't get me wrong, I agree it is a very important sign. Where I'm being less guided towards, is the current societal paths to "get over" depression. And yes, I am a trained psychologyst, And was a long time guinea pig of it myself it should all start with :" you have a depression" instead of " you are depressed". Depressed is NOT who you are....at all !
-
I used to think that was true, but... now I know it is all an illusion, a game, some form of play of consciousness. Realizing who you are, is the most direct path to just drop all those notions... they are not worth the attention of YOU
-
What also comes to mind is that PAIN, mostly seen as "bad" is actually the best form of illusion happening to someone... and ends up being the best thing that ever for that person. Now believe me, when I was in that sauce... if you would have told me this, I would easily have killed you (or tried to) LOL
-
@Water In my current understanding and "research", I believe that it is seldom that "joy" is a big trigger for waking up. Joy mostly keeps you floating in whatever context you already are. What I find, is that discomfort, no matter how insignificant it might seem, makes you shift into a new paradigm and search for ways to alleviate it. I sometimes joke about it saying that, wherever it is, a mosquito always bites you in the place that is most painful to scratch
-
@Water Sheer Pain, loss, no more steps outwards to be taken. It was: go completely IN - out totally "out" As little as I have studied Eckhart Tolle, my journey resembles a lot with his... You could say, I have been dragged into it kicking and screaming LOL
-
@Sigma At least you see that, which is already a major advantage
-
good then. I'm open to it. If you find out something, I'd like to try it lol
-
@Murtaza What I suspect, is that the "flying monk" is some sort of a metaphor. Body is still tied to good old gravity at this point in time. I would also add that, one enlightened person would have to have the motivation and drive to go do things like that ... who knows ? Is this important ?
-
The only issue is that you are approaching this from the mind: mind is trying to be "all one", it is trying to "be in bliss", "heart open" "to understand", "to experience", "how much I have to talk about" "how close I'm/you're getting"- it has a whole check-list of things that would be ticked off if "I" or "others" were awake. You, the beingness manifesting as "I am this person" and the activity of mind created/learnt all these ideas you have about yourself and others, and is trying to impersonate who you think you understood you are This is not the freedom you are looking for.
-
@werlight I personally find less and less to talk about lately.. words anyway, have less and less value in what still needs to be expressed here. I am that in which thoughts arise and fall, and do not chase after anything in the world to reveal to me That who I AM. I simply AM, and everything else is expressing somehow "in front" of ME, thus all the interest in trying to GET somewhere in order to find something, that has mercifully left me I am not looking around to solve any mystery any longer You may call THAT one, bliss... or not.
-
@werlight yes, hope to meet you someday THERE

@Abhijeeth , There is no need (and no way) to remove a thought. The only thing you can do with practice, is not to get entangled with it.. not engage with it, not giving it any attention -
All those things... are not inside or outside of you. THEY ARE YOU! You ARE THEM! As for the bliss you are describing, you might call it like that, or better yet call it nothing at all. Sounds more true to me like that
-
@werlight , as beautiful as this sounds, it is all coming from Mind...they are all concepts meant to entertain duality. The fact that it sounds so refreshing and flowery, has no relation with the truth that we never made any promise, there's no remembering of anything, no returning anywhere, no love given. These are all illusions the mind throws at you to keep you in the doing, searching and thriving and as far away possible from just being what and who you already really are.

@Sargon Drop all that. They are just concepts... When you realize there is nothing to DO in order TO GET what/where/whom you already are, it's over And yes, I see exactly what you mean... but it is still backwards ... going away thinking you're coming back -
@Pierre LOL !

Unfolding into I Person is becoming completely undone. Grace is SO powerful, body and mind have a bit of trouble to keep up with expansion into being-ness I LOVE YOU GOD! Thank you! I love you! *********************************************** Lord, please give me the words to express what is unfolding so that these beings see it in their current place, wherever they might think themselves to be!
-
@Neph PLEASE turn caps off!!

When you begin travelling the self-development path (any path actually), EVERYTHING you encounter on that path, is part of the voyage. You will not become emotionless. It is just an experiencing of some trauma that is coming up. Let it be. People and circumstances will show you very clearly what needs healing and what needs discarding. Keep on meditating. See these thoughts coming, and let go of them. They're just thoughts.

Who is that one becoming aware here? There's an awareness focusing on something. That is still from the person-hood, as it is coming and going. Something still watches that awareness. Find out that SOMETHING, by stopping to "try" and "do". There is nowhere you need to arrive with it, as you already are it. LITERALLY ! Do not look for the metaphysical meaning of what is being said here. Just read the words. Just relax into the words, read them over and over.... until it will be over Yes, you are on the right track, except there is not "track", you are already THAT- 3 replies

@Sargon For me, this is the biggest trap. Somehow, you think you need to force and control something to become something that you already ARE! I have also expressed this in another post through the analogy of someone sitting comfortably in his own bed, frantically trying to decipher a map to return back home!! Striving, trying, forcing, pushing, pulling, concentrating... these are ALL MIND induced. Because mind wants to GO, to DO, to SOLVE. It is its job, and it damn well doesn't want to be fired from it lol. YOU are the seer of all this -
Ayla replied to Sargon's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
You are not on the right track You ARE THAT> What you experienced is who you really truly are. That "stopness" - that you've only been able to sustain for a moment, took you by surprise and mind has found a way to bring you back into its claws Something saw the thought and the emotions springing from it. All that was seen by the "stopness" (that you are) Contrary to what your mind tells you to DO to get back to this, try the exact opposite: relax into it, don't force yourself into it as you are ALREADY it. There's nowhere you need to GO- 3 replies
