  1. @Shin Everyone sees things from their worldview and everyone has false convictions but I do have a decent amount of circumstantial and personal experience I base my claims on. & your right. I’m vastly different than I was when I awakened a few years ago, and still have quite a bit of work left.
  2. @Shin ... lol ... I’ll ignore that haha jk. Such symptoms tend to be way more common in people that do psychedelics though. I know many people not awake. No insights that have went through similar things. Often such people tend to suffer from such symptoms as well.
  3. @Leo Gura let’s not. Let’s not resort to personal attacks and talk down to those that disagree. Let’s not just dismiss everything as ego and devilry. Let’s have a balanced approach.
  4. @Leo Gura Your confidence and arrogance without even being in a stable non dual state is really something. You talk of the traps of the ego often, make good points and sound intellectually appealing, yet your emotional blind spots lead you to fall into many of those same traps. @Shin and let me guess you did psychedelics? That goes to my point such symptoms aren’t necessarily due to awakening but dramatic changes to one’s system. Again you can not radically alter your state on a regular basis without any sort of repercussions.
  5. @luckieluuke I didn’t see the additional paragraph and wrote my rely before your edit. With the additional paragraph and ideas I don’t think it’s redicilous. I still disagree but cool ?❣️
  6. @luckieluuke it’s ridcilous of you to equate Rupert talking about what I assume is maintaining awareness through out sleep to Martin ball not physically being able to sleep and the exhaustion that come with it.
  7. @Leo Gura I awakened without psychedelics, then did psychedelics and understand the affects in can have on ones system. Equating Martin balls awakening to other awakenings eg adyashantis and others. Simply comes from a lack of understanding, and information. His clearly stands out and is way less stable and sane in many ways. Awakening might be a radical process but there is no reason to make it more radical to the point of frying ones system and possibly losing one’s sanity. A balanced approach is always best.
  8. @Leo Gura Do you honestly not see the point? You can disagree but it’s seems you didn’t even hear the point. 3 months of dmt visuals on a constant basis, deepening of the voice when talking about truth, and hearing voices in one’s heart, among numerous other symptoms like a lack of sleep for 1 week. Are all very extreme. Attributing these extreme events to copious amounts of 5 meo and psychedelic use is not far fetched. Nor is the claim that severely altering your state on a regular basis with psychedelics might not be the healthiest thing to do. Especially considering the amount of disorders and issues people have.
  9. @AlwaysBeNice The Buddha said other stuff to. The problem is oversimplification of reality, and lack of nuance that lead to fantastical ideas, reality, self deciet and dishonesty
  10. He is the only supposedly enlightened teacher that attributes his enlightenment to the use of entheogens.
  11. I wasnt singling you out btw. Sorry if I was harsh a bit. Just trying to make my point by appealing to emotions a bit. My point stands though.
  12. Is massive suffering perfect? Cmon son. Realities perfection is in its ability to grow. To create ego out of less developed forms of conscious experience. To evolve and eventually transcend that ego. The simplistic non dual thoughts of today are just dumb. The Buddha “life is suffering” Random forum dude on drugs “everything is perfect, that’s why I have deep traumas, unresolved issues, anger and desperately try to escape all the time from the simple realities in front of me”
  13. @Serotoninluv The last two paragraphs are in essence the same thing I’m saying lol
  14. There are a whole host of issues and symptoms. Instead of sleeping for 3 months upon awakening he just had dmt visuals all the time. He heard a voice in his heart. His voice deepens when he speaks. The insomnia. All im saying regular use of severe min altering substances will lead to imbalances and have repercussions. Don’t really get why that means I have a vendetta.
  15. It’s common sense that severely altering your state in any way regularly will have a dramatic effect on your psyche. If you disagree I don’t think your being honest with yourself. @Salvijus and yep. It’s not good
  16. He felt like dying. Did I say he will die? That’s a typo. Sorry guys. @Serotoninluv its not just intense insomnia though. The three month visual craziness, the deepening of the voice, the barking, and other symptoms also prove that a healthy approach is best. It’s basic common sense. Don’t drastically alter your state of being on a regular basis by force. There will be a backlash. Your system was designed the way it was for a reason. Messing with it too much is not the best idea.
  17. In order for you to make such a post you obviously feel a degree of instability, and although that is inevitable in life and on the path. We shouldn’t make it worse for ourselves, if we have the ability. It can definitely become too much and severely interfere with our life. So. Quit smoking weed. Doesn’t matter if it’s one or three times. You are in a sensitive state and shouldn’t mess with your state too much. You should balance yourself and practice a healthier approach. Eat healthy. You’re body has an immense impact on your experience and stability. Make it more stable through. Physical yoga. Sattvic lifestyle and so on. Whether you are awakening or not it seems you are undergoing some energetic process that you’ll be better equipped to learn from and ingest with a healthy lifestyle, state and so on. As healthy as you can make it. A healthy amount of instability, suffering and so on just comes with awakening. The path, and life itself. ❣️
