  1. @Markus Contemplating is not done through thinking, don't look for an intellectual answer.
  2. @Leo Gura Hey Leo, when you say real communication, what do you mean? Personally, I believe my normal pragmatic language, communication skills to be quite inadequate. So if I mastered the English language completely, would I really be able to communicate then? lol I'm guessing real communication is silence related?? Like Ramana Maharshi when he said he was able to communicate with animals or sth like that?? Also, Leo, many times in your video you mention full-enlightenment, like when you say you're not "fully-enlightened yet", you imply that it's possible?? and the interview you plan on releasing with the person who apparently is fully enlightened through 5-meo-dmt usage for a year????
  3. @Azrael Very mind-boggling but thought provoking, ty
  4. When you orgasm, imagine it shooting through your crown chakra, apparently it helps.
  5. Awareness is not a thing, it is the knowing of things. Watch this, very helpful for those doing self inquiry.@George Paul
  6. See if this video helps you out, very nice pointers @Jani
  7. This has just become a huge mess, everybody has a point depending how it's interpreted and there're just a multitude of interpretations, so yeah, describing enlightenment can vary for everyone, It can inspire you, delude you and stray you, or elicit just about any thought/ emotion out there. That's why there're so many teachers and styles of teaching. I wouldn't say it's counter-productive to learn from spiritual teachers, they have their point that may bring epiphanies to some. Also regarding "You don't want to be enlightened", is completely dependent on the perspective "You" is interpreted. Of course the ego will resist to the end in order to serve it's own purpose- sustenance.@Elzhi
  8. @Azrael What's a good album or track for enlightenment, meditation, and consciousness?
  9. @jjer94 Is Darknight a necessary step towards self realization? And what're your thoughts on Bentinho Massaro, what stage is he at?
  10. @iago iriarte arhatha Agreed, but what I think he meant was the depth of his MEO trip compared to his previous Samahdhi's. Of course 3 years of foundational work is far more crucial in the long run than a single trip. The psychedelic is like the exponent while foudational work = the base; isn't a perfect analogy but i think you get the gist of it.
  11. Hey guys, so basically over the recent years I've developed and ocd to search up every word or thing that comes up externally or in my mind. Eg. Somebody mentions a word I'm not familiar with, or I see an object but forget what it's called etc. etc. I get the compulsive tendency to find the exact definition, and many times even with the words or stuff I do know, I search them up to affirm that definition. Usually I don't get that Ah-Hah epiphany, but instead more perplexed when i'm distracted by endless information. This has gotten to the point where I've felt so inadequate and lacking that I almost had a nervous breakdown just cause I couldn't understand a very simple word that I've seen many many times. Ever since I knew about enlightenment (almost a year ago), and especially when I started dedicating most of my time to consciousness and inner work which was about 3 months ago, I realized this was developed because I had been traumatized many times in the past for being ignorant, for not knowing common knowledge that everybody else knew at my age, for being unable to express myself with the right words clearly even today. And even though I know attaining more knowledge will NOT bring happiness to my life, will not satisfy the limited conditioned self, I'm still so desperate not as much as before though. I can imagine that when I do realize my true nature hopefully one day, I will be freed of this compulsion to know more, to improve, because it is already perfect. But anyways, I'm still struggling to learn and to understand certain concepts, information... will a higher consciousness make things click easier for me. I doubt i have any mental/learning disorders.
  12. Some concentration practices can increase discernment and are worthwhile doing though right? Like staring at an object till you de-label everything of it to see the true nature of the object or what's really there.
  13. hey guys, just wondering, is full enlightenment/arhatship/buddhahood w/e u call it the end all be all state? can consciousness be developed beyond that? thoughts on this?
  14. Not bad imo. I'm a beginner on this spiritual path and I do about 20-60(at best) mins of meditation 2-4 times a day + reading watching books, video, courses on enlightenment. Despite not having a major breakthrough over the past 2-3 months, I feel it shouldn't be rushed. Whether it takes 100 years or a day, when the time's right it'll come. Don't overdraft yourself on this journey, be okay with where you're at now.
  15. Does anyone know where to see the full clip for this, or share the 3 tips he left everyone hanging at in the end? I bought the inner engineering online course, but I don't think it covers sleep.
  16. The reason for your suffering is simple, you are resisting. YOU can't tolerate = You're not accepting that moment. Your egoic mind dominates over your life through imposing its beliefs on reality. Other people and external circumstances don't go 100% your way, nor can you make them do so. Why can't you tolerate tolerate "Negative" people, because "You" are resisting. What if you accepted whatever happens or that "Negative" guy that always seems to get on your nerves, would you walk away? Happiness is complete acceptance of what is, is it not? If you only accept certain moments in life and resist others, then life will always be a roller coaster ride. Be aware of your resistance, think how much suffering is caused by this resistance, and surrender to whatever happens.
  17. Hey guys, just wondering which method is more efficient? Should both be done simultaneously or separate for optimal effect? Been meditating for 3 months as of now; first 2 were awful and complete lack of presence, I literally couldn't stop fidgeting every minute. I got some bits of insights here and there this month and able to meditate for approx. 20-30 mins using sds and do nothing technique fairly well, but my thoughts and feeling eventually broke my stillness. I'm starting to lose my motivation at times as my thoughts and feelings oppress and resist immensely. All I need is that glimpse to supercharge my searching of truth and happiness. My whole life right now is centered around this, and I've subscribed and watched a lot of non-duality/enlightenment channels lately, eg. Rupert Spira, Eckhart Tolle, Sadhguru, Shinzen Young, ...... which give me lots of small epiphanies. I've heard Rupert say that self-inquiry brings you to the realization that it can't be done like taking step towards yourself, which indirectly brings you to the present moment, which is essentially the same as a technique like sds?? So i mean, should this self-inquiry process be neglected and just meditate and be in the moment, or??
  18. However long it'll take you. Your ego's probably thinking, just gimme 1000 hours. My advice would be, forget about enlightenment because you seek it to complete yourself, and when the realization that you are already complete comes, enlightenment comes.

  20. I feel you man, having the exact same issues with social anxiety, depression, and scarring past and childhood. Honestly, I think the problem lies in your motivation. Ask yourself why you're doing the things you're doing? What do you really want in life? You're living life to avoid fear and pain, rather than seeking the best life. Check out Leo's video on Happiness, "You're not happy because you really don't want to be", and "10 things you don't know you want". Also, seek to expand your consciousness, which in my opinion is the core of personal development. The problems that you're experiencing are apparently ultimately caused by lack of awareness, because you've overlooked some of your most fundamental assumptions about life which is the source of your problems. You're never gonna get anywhere with a low awareness, make that your lifelong goal.
