Homework question: Write an essay on the difference between Roman numerals and the Peano Axioms.
-
It is a myth that the Ancient Hellenes didn't have a concept of zero, they had what the English historians call the void. However it is true that zero was not considered a number. What is less well known is that one was not considered a number either. Even birds know how many eggs they have. Counting exists in all living things. Nobody should be afraid to explore structures of counting. Counting involves any number bigger than one for example. Thank you.

Naturally I want to talk a bit about cults. I don't know whether Plato charged to enter his academy, or whether the Egyptians charged Pythagoras, or what, but I do know that maths was originally for kept secret for initiates only, just as the Santeros keep their secrets as does the Vatican. I too love the music, the film not so much, but cinema, yes. I had to pay a small amount to be initiated by a Babaleyo into some beginner's drum patterns and I wasn't insulted, in fact I was invited to. I've heard that many Babaleyos charge extortionate amounts to those that seek knowledge, but families are willing to pay, I've talked about banking already, no interest, no arguments. It is not only Babaleyos, the clergy pass round a collection plate, very few are allowed into the inner circle, but I digress. So what should I do? Form a cult? Charge a pittance? Or give to charity as is demanded. I am not Leo, where he got that word from I don't know, but I will tell you something as a gift. What you refer to as "trying" is often referred to as the Successor Function of the Peano Axioms. I won't give you the dates just yet, I know you love the sounds, the people, the cuisine. The numbers aren't mine to give anyway, being as I am a singular man, do you're own research if you like. Regards. Gog.

Is this what you want?

The Gaia hypothesis is well known, but what does it mean for life on earth? The body has three brains at least? Britain, France, U.S.A. and lots of muscle Russia, China, Africa, India etc. etc. Using the mind to interfere with the body is a recipe for ill health. I would have thought that was obvious. So what work is the body doing?

Perhaps I should have said stomachs. I see the internationalism of the United States. TV, Radio, Internet, Film. Is good to watch. And the Revolutionary people do not leave. I forget the dates of the U.S. Revolution, before France and Haiti you believe, still they come. And good luck to them. Cheers.

The earth-moon problem has been bounded between 9 and 12, so?

Sure, I'm aware that cosmopolitan society needs to keep global stability, why not huh, but I don't understand what's wrong with Black Orpheus from your perspective, sorry xx

So Leo's videos are great, I like the forum, and I'm sure Leo wants to expand into UK markets, but I'm thinking I need to find somewhere closer to home to journal my progress. Can anyone recommend a good UK self-development forum? Thanks

That is not what Daskalos taught, he started a war?

Depends how much you're paying them.

So my book isn't finished yet. I don't know which version people have read, how many chapters, whether it's been edited, etc. Besides, I'm practically giving it away I'd like some feedback from people who have read it on whether it's publishable. Thanks

You see it is untrue. I do not represent my father at all well. ^&*($3 $%^&2 "£%^&

My father says the same thing up to a point, if I have to use an oracle at all I use the Greek one of 72? #';jg';.lg (0-['[#;l'9 !

Andreas, I too am guilty of purchasing many goods through middlemen, I taught my father how to stand when I was a child naturally, is that also part of the ego trap? I use both hands. Branches are ratios, lattices are Boolean, do you understand the difference? I am taken.

This is the essential point of the territorial numbering systems I was teaching, they are two-dimensional and thus not linear, so there is no bigger or smaller, only four, seven, etc. partitions. No one is that extreme that they would try to conquer the United States lololololololololol…

So CreamCat, I debated whether to post this, it said the well cannot be changed and that I should just keep on giving, which made me think twice, especially because I thought what I divined was racist from a saint's perspective and dressed in white, why I keep hustling for enlightenment I don't know, but at the very least I'd like to reach stage yellow, thanks for that Leo! Not saying I wouldn't use spiral dynamics myself if I could etc. etc. but I spoke too much as it was, and I guess what you want to know is the difference between a matrix and a vector space. Credits are meaningless, it's money that counts so if you have a contract with someone I'd appreciate a payment since y'all saying I'll tell you what the id says. Most people who study maths just memorize a few techniques and slogans and then go into banking where they forget everything they learned and just count the odds. Real maths is for priests, hierophants, babaleyos whatever you want to call them. Most will be on a very low level. You won't make any money even if you're at a university. I doubt you will even be able to keep the peace let alone bring people together. If you're lucky you will get to work on what you want. But you might have to pay. Start with the history of maths and move on from there. Otherwise what you are trying to do is 1 in a billion. In fact, only Ramanujan managed it to the level you are asking and he never married. There's nothing wrong with hip hop if you like language. By all means calculate your market. Just try not to sell slaves. You're better than that.

So in Britain I believe health economics is slightly different to the rest of the world. Indeed the only comparable system is Cuba which they run on a fraction of the price. Healthcare in Britain is about stability of the country, the shared experience of the class system. There are private hospitals but they're rubbish. The first thing to realise is that you make yourself ill through your actions, this is the mantra of Big Pharma. In Britain we again view things differently, we share responsibility for our actions and try to maintain a healthy balance. If we trip or fall, or karmically step out of line, then we may become ill, then it is up to the doctors to make a judgement. We still pay, nothing is free in the sense of perpetual motion, which is only true at the absolute level anyway. But it is society that makes the profit, not bankers, at least that's the idea. I haven't really got time for conspiracy theories about who owns the Bank of England. It is a structure, one of many, and no better or worse than any other. Health economics is a top down approach to health care but can also be used to advise the bottom up. It is a form of healing employed by the government or academia for the reasons stated above, but do not delude yourselves, we are all healers, even if we simply give and receive energy unconsciously sharing experiences that keep us alive. I've learned a lot from my experience in the past twelve weeks or so, hopefully I will be able to be involved with future projects with the same boss or transfer somewhere else. If that sounds like solidarity then it isn't meant to. For now I need to work out what I'm going to do in the remainder of the year assuming I stay well. Voluntary gardening is something I'd like to start again if they stop bullshitting me about some magical teacher who knows the correct way to live, not referring to Leo here. As far as advice goes, I live in Britain, not the U.S., so starting a business is not necessarily the best option. Thank you.

So certain realities have been entering my life which I'm not sure I want to believe or know the consequences of. I suppose I have only myself to blame if this G-had if that doesn't sound to patronising. I don't know what happened to the Taoist priests during the Cultural Revolution, I suspect the real ones just faded away though I doubt there is much they could do against armed thugs. "Mao was great" is the slogan I heard. "Give me the fortune, keep the fame" is another, attributed to Minister Farrakhan. I don't think it is that bad, I think people have realised magic is not the solution. There are competing structures no doubt. I have experienced structural meltdown enough times as a nobody to know that I don't want to go through that again. Are people actually reading this? The creative commons was prophesised long before my book was published. I can believe someone stole it from my Gmail, so I'm not likely to get any money for it, which was never my intention anyway. Now they (not pointing any fingers) even get us to carry out their COINTELPRO program for them, but I think people have learned, and I'm not angry. I need to focus on my aims, building my life, trying to be the best that I can. That is all any of us can do. I welcome criticism, feel free to write your thoughts on my journal, though I may not reply. Thank you.

I have read that the Yi Jing originally demanded sacrifice like the Obi. I was thinking of buying the edition you mention before you posted as I already have a companion book by the same authors on healing. Initially I was put off somewhat when reading it as I thought they expressed themselves somewhat arrogantly, but they gave me more faith in certain teachings I have received and when I became convinced of the authorship I thought that I might buy their "transformed edition" as well. Do you have a copy of the Obi written down? I am aware of only one which I own and have never really tried to read except a little of the American-English so called anthropological interpretation, which seems to me to be drawing more on experiences in Brazil than Nigeria where it was written. The Babaleyo who wrote it was schooled in chemistry to a very high level and arranged the Odus into 256 binary combinations of eight. He spent a lot of time trying to fit the Yi Jing which as you know has 64 binary combinations of 6 into the Obi believing as he did that they had a common origin. Sacrifice always strikes me as a way of justifying gambling, but that doesn't mean I would not fear the consequences of ignoring such demands. Thank you.

So I'm going to jump in here with what might be a non-sequitur. I am slightly neurotic about the love/sex divide. It's not that there is a divide, if you divide it you are arguing, but there are higher forms of love, none of which matters, I am of course talking about pleasure. This post is about fear. The reward centre in the brain is split between a fear producing lobe and a combined fear and pleasure producing lobe according to the brain scientists, or at least a part of it is. It is called the amygdala which you can look up yourself. So fear is a natural part of pleasure. What do I fear. Well my mother is as you (making an assumption here) Americans call "White" so obviously I have a lot of respect for "White" people. However I have found that all the "White" women I have fancied have been racist. Nothing wrong with that, but they didn't even understand me at all. Why was/is that? Obvious really, I am a minority. There is probably less than a hundred people in the world with my cultural/biological ancestry and they are all quite young. This is one of the drawbacks of mixing. On the other hand, minorities can be very attractive. The aristocracy is a minority, so perhaps that wasn't the only reason. In reality it was my desire to be part of a larger group, to find similarities between myself and others, to overcome my fear. In the seventies feminists loved to talk about non-hierarchy being a female thing, completely glossing over the fact that anarchists had been preaching this for a minimum of some fifty years before, never mind the rest of human history. This lie came to the fore in the eighties, when they had to admit that like all social groups, women have their own hierarchy, which is not to say solidarity doesn't exist. The days of "White" supremacy are over. No woman wants to be put on a pedestal. Yet "White" women continue to be marketed as having an advantage. You cannot blame someone for making the most of what society expects from them, but you can try to set the record straight. I don't think "White" women are any more racist than anybody else, I just don't understand why only my mother really loves me. My father too. So in conclusion I think fear is a good thing as long as one recognises that it can either lead to rewards or punishment, and to be sophisticated about how one discerns the difference. Thank you.
