I guess my script needs updating to stay current with the times? Or should it be able to withstand the test of time? -

Maybe - but maybe it's refreshing either way... All we hear is people criticizing all the time. Its nice to hear stuff like this every once in a while. -

Why? I think its a great post. He's absolutely right. You won't find anything like this on the internet. The stuff here can actually point you to Absolute Truth. Think about this - not even Albert Einstein found that. -

I'm not even sure he understood his own posts after a certain point. But then again, in his eyes there isn't a self to understand anything so I guess it was okay. -

That's a great question and when @Breakingthewall said what he said I was already thinking about that. This is where it gets amazing. Think of it like a giant diamond or gemstone viewed from different angles. It is still One. But you can understand it one angle at a time because viewing it whole you are too blinded by its magnificence. -

This is the true miracle. You nailed it. To imagine that this can be pre-planned without anything behind the scenes or anyone to plan it is truly breathtaking -

Point noted - but i have to tell you that my final awakening to Oneness did indeed reveal that other people are held within a single Mind. This mind is not a human self but also not separate from you. If you are not a person then how could your mother be one? Is it all then just a bunch of fragmented Minds that meet in the middle? Where this breaks down is there must be no space between these fragmented Minds - because time and space are within the Minds. So where would you draw a line when there is none to be drawn. -

As long as it feels like we have free will, we do. But yes, it is ultimately God's will. That being said, have you have ever wondered where this marvelous blueprint of reality is hiding? Maybe somewhere in another dimension God sits cross legged at a large oak table, feverishly watching his movie unfold. And there he sits, crafting new movies on long scrolls. He stores it all in a nice oak cabinet by the stove. It is locked, the key tucked away in his deep pockets. But if you found this dimension, and you found this home - you could open the cabinet and pull out one of the scrolls. Possibly the one about this particular movie. And you would know what happens next -

Yes - and be careful about deconstructing those stories. It is like the yarn in a shape of the cat. As you pull apart the yarn you are pulling yourself apart. And when you get to the end you will be gone. The small self anyway -

It was never intended to solve suffering. The only one putting a negative connotation on suffering is you. Counterintuitively, it all comes full circle and suffering ultimately can lead to awakening. So how's that for a skull fuck? But to your point on ideology- we do stress to take none of this stuff as an ideology but to do the spiritual practices for yourself. Again, not to end suffering. But out of curiosity. And hey, maybe we will discover something we never expected. -

Well yes, of course - but then you can say that about calling infinity Infinity. In other words all language can't explain awakening. Even the word awakening or Infinity is already entering into duality. I guess to answer his question- when you become the Absolute- it is Absolute. There is no room for falsehood because falsehood can only come AFTER the Absolute divides itself. And so, in becoming Absolute- you ARE it. And that's it. Any discussion of what is valid or not valid is the parts which break away from the Absolute. -

Can you explain Being itself? No.. Ask yourself why not. Because you ARE it. Other" is second order, or in other words Being is prior to - so who would be there to explain it when it is prior to anyone being there. That's what I meant by its solipsism at its core. -

He's simply an Idealist. It Just means everything is mind. -

All BS. -
Inliytened1 replied to integral's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
This is solipsism at its core. You will not be able to explain awakening. It is you that awakens. Everyone else is a dream. So you cannot explain it when it happens because it is only something that you alone can experience as God. -

You have a way with words. You're sounding more like @Nahmeveryday. Not necessarily a bad thing but maybe be careful you don't become him. Not with this post but just the general vibe I'm getting. -

You're all over the map. Religion will set you backwards not forwards. If you spend half as much time in meditation and self inquiry as you do on this forum you wouldn't need to turn to religion for the answers. -

He has turned awakening into some magical fix for everything. Yes, in a sense it is...it will give you liberation from the ego because you will become God. But awakening from the dream does return you to the dream after, because there is no where else for God to go other than to dream. To dream is to be finite. And so, you will be finite again. The difference is you will have accessed infinity. You will be much more conscious when you come back. So in a sense he's not wrong. But the ego will be back - and everything that comes with it will be back. The difference is now you have the knowledge of what lies beyond the ego - so you know all of it is an illusion. In that sense- he is correct. What I fear is that he has taken awakening as the belief that it will be the end all solution to all of the ego's challenges. It will in the short term - but after that it will take work on your part to embody what you have become conscious of. -

On the subject of addictions - I would say that awakening does increase your baseline level of consciousness and also you level of self awareness. So though your physical body may still be prone to addiction- you do have the awareness to pull yourself out of one and see when it is coming on. Again, it is all about awareness. But post awakening you may still be vulnerable to these things because the physical body and the ego is still there. Though as I said immediately after awakening you may linger in a higher mystical state for months. That will eventually drop back down. -
This will come in time after you see how your dishonesty will cause you much suffering and pain in your life. Eventually realize that only Truth and honesty will give you peace and liberation - and your level of dishonesty will drop significantly to where you will find it hard to lie or be deceitful at all - because you will know that it is not your true being. Your true being is Truth itself. It will just happen naturally.

I think this is more about transcending the ego's constant desire for pleasure. You could have woken up from fhe dream and been like that for a few months or even years...but at some point the ego's selfish desires will try to sneak back in. This is really where the work begins. And you don't really have to have had awakening for this type of mentality or outlook on life. It really comes down to your outlook on life and how you entertain your ego or rise above selfish desires. This takes a level of maturity that may not necessarily come with awakening.
