@Bazooka Jesus @Javfly33 your profile pics are great but as senior members lets see your faces. We might even meet one day. Although Bazooka - im not going to India. I do envy your freedom though, and your youth. -
It's definitely psychological. I'll move this thread to another section. But yeah..congrats. the less you think about it the better. If you over analyze sex you will be sure to fuck it up. It's one of the most instinctive things you can do. The less thinking and the more doing, the better.

You did touch on something I think was very important. How do you know you weren't your mother at some point if you no longer remember it? And if you don't, did it ever happen at all? And furthermore - does it even matter? If you already are your mother, is there a need to actually act out being her? Infinity is a very tricky thing. But yes - in the end reincarnation does exist. Its just that you forget. That's the beauty. It makes it just a single Incarnation every time. That's the paradox, because now you must ask yourself, well, if its the first time, then does reincarnation exist? It's paradoxical. -

Even that is blurred by relativity. What is alcoholism? Is it three drinks, or four? Or maybe it's five? So how can there be an Absolute solution to something relative. There is no solution to the problem of Solpsism because the problem of Solipsism was created in your mind. Erase that illusion, or imagination, and then you have transcended. But when you do, the cost will be that you can't suffer with the term solipsism anymore. That attachment will be gone. -

I do but I would lighten up. I consider the Great Bazooka one of the most enlightened beings on the forum. If he speaks, keep an open ear. -
Eventually it will come back to get you. Trump went decades unscathed...but now he has to face the music. And the music is coming. Tate will also face this, at some point. If he beats this through his intelligence, it will happen again. Ultimately, this way of life is untenable. Its just that it takes some much longer than others to realize it. Trump will probably never realize it - even if he is sitting in a jail cell or prevented from running. He will take his ego to the grave with him. That's probably the saddest part about it.

You're finally making sense on something!! -

If you want to dream up something, anything at all, you are creating a duality. God doesn't want to stay in a state of complete Oneness all the time. It wants to dream what it would be like to have separation - because it's mind is unbounded and it thirsts to understand all that can be understood through experience. It's because its mind is not bounded that it is free to do this. And so it does. -

I'm saying it's irrelevant whether it happens more than once or not - because you are already all beings presently. You're searching for an answer that doesn't matter unless you make it matter. Which means its imaginary. But hell, what isn't. -

One word. Infinity. Infinity is everything. And nothing. So it has to include every possible experience. At the same time all of it never was. Where people get tripped up is that all that exists in the realm of form is what is right now. But all that exists includes everything- which is the potential for any form. So in a nutshell - it is not logical, but paradoxical. In other words, you are all of it now - you are your mother now, you are your dog now... but you have fooled yourself into thinking you are one form. Whether you are going to one day fool yourself into thinking you are looking through their eyes becomes irrelevant. -

That's just it. The observer is an illusion. If you self inquire (and I know I push this all the time) you can discover that the observer is an illusion. You will be left with just pure Consciousness itself. -

Absolutely. I believe they can provide excellent healing for mental disorders. Far beyond what SSRIs can do They are only now becoming that in the US. Decades from now I believe psychedelics will be much more mainstream for healing. Honestly, I think that is where the value lies- not necessarily in awakening -

I guess everyone's path is unique and different. But all roads to lead to Rome. My path wasn't easy - but the suffering, the trials and tribulations- didn't come in the form of trying to awake. They came from my own selfishness in life. Actually waking up was not a process. I don't believe it should be either. It is not something you attain as the ego - because that is using the ego's will and it is using brute force. Awakening doesn't happen like this. It honestly has to happen naturally. But again- that was my path. Yes I did experience no self. I died. And I came back. It was a ride that guaranteed no return trip. I was not able to function in the world for days after - and how my sense of self returned at all is not known to me. Perhaps because there was more to do here. What that is, at my age, I do not know. I can only assume it is the attachments which I still hold dear. -

I think it's because of what you said. That the dream state is not as strong. But yes also because in the waking dream it just comes natural to me. In my night time dreams there is an awareness- a meta awareness which i have here, that is simply not present there. So perhaps there, like you said, I would need to put forth the conscious effort. Here, there is no need for that. -

The ego's final defense mechanism - and the walls seem unbreachable. But you take fear out of the equation with ignorance. So forget all that you have learned about spirituality - and sit and self inquire. Do that with a curiosity to know what lies beyond -

Have you been successful at lucid dreaming? It's kind of a mind blower that we are in a dream right now. It's too shocking. But that's the very mechanism that keeps you asleep. In this dream I am lucid some of the time. But in my night dreams I can never accomplish it. Perhaps because i dont stay assleep long enough - and its not as engrossing. So i guess its a dream of mine to lucid dream at night -

Fair enough. You are complicating awakening. Awakening is simple. It is the realization of no self. Life is what is not flowering- it is traumatic and there will be much suffering. But awakening is not that. It is very simple- without suffering- and right under your nose. All you have to do is realize no self. This will open the door to all the other realizations. I still have my doubts. Somewhere along the way the drugs got to his brain. But he will pull it together. Damn. Have you had the no self realization yet. -

I'm not really speaking scientifically I am talking about what sources the science in fhe first place. And that is God. Which is mystical. What else would it be. -

No - it can't. Why do you think Leo is on such an expedition? Fine. If you want to believe that. But I would truly encourage you to sit in self inquiry. -
Inliytened1 replied to Javfly33's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Javfly33 as long as you are sitting up you can achieve non-localization. I have found that laying down doesn't work. But as long as you sit up- you should be good. The details of the posture mean little. -
Inliytened1 replied to An young being's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
It changes your state of consciousness but does it break you out of the dream? It doesn't. Because there is only one awakening. Leo still thinks there are many. This is because he has reached enlightened states of consciousness but he has not broken out of the dream. This has to be a natural occurrence -

You only feel like you have free will. But the ego does not have control. It is you as God that has control. And trust me, I don't know how, but you have it all figured out The reason your mom isn't interested in non-duality and you are is because you dreamt it like that. That's what I mean by genetics. -
Inliytened1 replied to Anon212's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Bingo. What do you think God is? God is Absolute Omniscience. Does Absolute Omniscience not include knowing what happens next? Does it not include the creation of time itself? My friend - you have not yet gone deep enough. When you do, you will ultimately find yourself alone. So I do warn you - it may not be something you want. -
Inliytened1 replied to An young being's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
It's precisely that there AREN'T breaks in consciousness. There is just the illusion that there is. Like sleep. Or unconsciousness. forgetting- now that is a completely separate topic. Forgetting only exists because nothing ever existed to begin with. This will absolutely demolish you if you are not ready. This doesn't mean something exists outside of your direct experience. This means that if you stop thinking about it, it absolutely ceases to exist. So take this to the "external world" now....the external world. That's where forgetting REALLY gets scary. But that's also where it gets extremely powerful. -
Inliytened1 replied to An young being's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@An young being personally i just don't think psychedelics will enlighten you. It is completely independent of this. Really self inquiring is the true way. But no one wants to do that.
