  1. @Mada_ listening to music that makes you feel love while meditating can open the flood gates. Think about someone you loved or love while you do it.
  2. Now we're talkin'!
  3. Yes that is what i am saying. But I'm not saying to integrate what they think is a pro or a con..I'm saying use systems thinking, study and analysis and come to a relative consensus by highly conscious beings to integrate both. Ultimately it would have to bring both parties to the same realizations.
  4. We get enough of that in the "real word"...
  5. Well from reading this I'm probably not going to bother with the show because even if its creators are awakened or highly conscious - if they are portraying a character that isn't then it's probably not worth my time.
  6. @electroBeam doing what is counter intuitive to the ego may causes short term discomfort or suffering - like your example - but in the long term or higher sense you are diminishing suffering and aligning with God. It is counterintuitive. All you need is Love
  7. That's what You're doing right now. You're just not conscious of it.
  8. Of course this probably involves most of the world waking up so we have our work cut out for us
  9. @Synchronicity yeah - it shouldn't be studied from only the SD scale...that in itself is limited because it's finite. That said we should turn our attention to uniting the left and the right and bringing society to a higher level of consciousness holistically. Whether one "side" is lower than an other is indeed relative and from a higher POV society is One as a whole and needs to be brought forward.
  10. @winterknight i have discovered with the realization of Oneness that what you are describing is only half the circle. To completely come full circle is to not only to see non-duality as enlightenment but also to see duality as enlightenment. To unify both into One. To have this awareness all the time and see the Oneness that is you in both the form and the formless.
  11. Advaita Vedanta is a very ancient teaching..so we have to take it in context. I believe Preetom has a past post on it which it is explored in detail here on this forum.
  12. @Preetom i like that quote. One must crawl before they can walk.
  13. @Cody_Atzori i think your body will adjust the more you do it. But that's sort of a good problem to even have - it means you are putting the time in. Its Ok to get up and walk around and then get back into meditating again and go again.
  14. @Enlightenment i concur. You can be awake and no longer necessarily "need" to meditate to awaken- but one should want to meditate for the reasons you stated
  15. It's not how long you meditate but the quality of it. Quality over quantity guys.
  16. @Beginner Mind may Being be with you!
  17. @Cody_Atzori @Synchronicity it's possible but we do not want to deter people from the path. You have to worry about your own growth not others. I don't need to meditate at this point but is telling people that are new to the path going to help them? No it's not. One should only be concerned with their own growth and not others.
  18. @Timothy by the way dont cut yourself short. In order to live in duality you have to live in duality -- so you have to play along in the dream and be finite and dualistic. That doesn't mean in the back of your mind you don't know what's really going on. That's non-dual awareness.
  19. @Timothy indeed -- there is knowing it...and then there is Knowing it. Two completely different things.
  20. @Timothy yeah once you understand there aint no going back even if your ego tries.
  21. @reves that's awesome that you are putting in the work and seeing the results. Yes the realization of Oneness can make you feel like you are going insane and could also lead to some anxiety and depression (ego backlash or the Dark Night of the Soul) But it will pass - two steps forward and one step back. But congratulations on the progress it sounds well deserved.
  22. Literally stumbled onto it. Although the question of whether a tree falling in the forest makes a sound or not without a perceiver always bothered me.
