Leo mentioned that it can feel like that in his How to do self inquiry Chrismas edition. Have you watched that episode? Its good stuff. I never thought of it like that but i can see how one could think that. I like that we are an idea instead. I like the sand castle analogy in a infinite sand too. We are so fragile that we can be gone as this form so easily. But you as the infinite sand remains.

@Leo Gura just went back thru your How to do Self Inquiry Christmas edition and realized that you are referring to the second half of the journey and perhaps for you even beyond.. Really brilliant stuff. I'm now more conscious that for me there is more work to be done in this area. Thanks for the input Leo.

This is going to open a can of worms. But of course, as with ANYTHING it is completely relative. When i had my mystical experiences and Being took me over..meaning the ego completely dissolved and i became pure consciousness, this came on in waves for about a week. The first time it happened while meditating and after that well hell it fucking came on at will. Not my will. Weeks later as ego backlash kicked in i felt myself closing down to it. I was not on pyschedelics and i only bring that up because Leo's mystical experiences happened on psychedelics. Now Leo claims he is not awakened so here is my question to him. Leo if you truly had a mystical experience where you literally fucking became Being itself how can you say you are not awake? Unless you're definition of awake is different than mine and you are referring to facets of awakening and you haven't become conscious of all the facets. If that's the case then relative to your definition I'm not enlightened either. But damn i fucking became God and felt Infinite intelligence and Infinite Love. I felt like i uunderstood EVERYTHING during the experience. Guess what? As far as facets to become conscious of It's infinite so you never will get to the end. That's not by accident. That's a feature. Therefore why do you say you are not awake or enlightened? For many i think this may only happen once in a lifetime. I believe for me in my own direct experience there was no such thing as a glimpse. This was utterly TOTAL. The facets are a bonus. And if you say oh yeah you just haven't experienced all the facets that's fine but it doesn't mean you are not enlightened. I just think its misleading when you say you do not consider yourself awake unless it's out of humility. Thoughts?

@Preetom relative to my ego it is for me the ultimate life purpose ...to fully align with Truth and embody it completely. That is happiness to me. So yes to the Ego it is a want but to embody Truth itself is a whole different thing. In fact it's completely formless. These words i write can only point to it So if you guys are insinuating that i am somehow fake or do not grasp awakening that is simply not the case. @tecladocasio that's right..in the stateless state there is infinite intelligence. I did understand the entire universe during the experience. But i wasn't me at the time. Something mystical happened. You guys should stop trying to school other people and focus on your own work.

@Leo Gura You are right there is nothing you could want more as a human being. It's why we are doing this work. And its why we continue to do this work. I do really commend those who have done and stuck to this work for decades and have not had a mystical experience yet. If it had not happened to me so quickly coming from the Materialist Paradigm i dont know if i would have dedicated my life to this work. As a materialist i needed to see scientific proof. So i really do commend those of you who have been on this path for a long time and feel that they haven't seen results yet. You are the true hero on the hero's journey. But fear not it is VERY real. You will get all the rewards and bliss just be patient. Or per Leo take some 5-Meo lol.

From my experience I believe to truly be in that state is to not be you (Leo) anymore.

Its not a newbie thing. I am enlightened and i get sleepy when doing meditation sometimes. You want to do it when fully aware when possible. But when the Godhead comes on to be honest it doesnt matter. You could be half asleep.

Ahh..but what is infinity

@SQAAD You can answer this question yourself. Do some serious self inquiry. Really try to pinpoint what is really you. That thing which is behind the eyes...you think you are a being looking out through your eyes..but really do self inquiry and try to pinpoint what that is. You will find that it no matter how you try you won't be able to find it. You are an idea in a Giant Mind. You can become directly conscious of this. This mind is a strange loop which created itself. It cannot be any other way. However telling you this is also concept and the only way to grasp it is to embody it. You must actually extract the idea of you out and you will become pure Being or pure Consciousness or Absolute Infinity. That is the Giant Mind and that is what you are. You just created this idea of you (small you) as a finite possibility to explore as that is what infinity is.

@Ali123 its like anything else..the more consistent you are with your mediation the better...consistency is key. Longer is better because yes...but consistency is more valuable. The fact that you are doing almost an hr a day is fantastic. What techniques are you practicing? For example the Do Nothing No mind seems t9lo be extremely effective for me. It really opens your chakras. The key is you want to open yourself up so you can start to feel energy moving throughout your body. That will one day lead to something happening.

@JohnnyBravo looking forward to hearing how things go. Don't feel like you are missing something by not having pyschedelics onhand...just go with an open mind and you will find that meditation will go a long way. Contemplation will be very productive in itself.

@Leo Gura no i understand what he is saying..basically he is Galileo back in the 1600s and afraid to go against the grain. He's saying our culture is deluded so i should just give up and go along with it. This path is not for the light of heart in today's times. But what he misses is that ...that does not mean that Truth is not Truth. Just because the rest of the world is doing one thing that doesn't mean you should take the easy way out and do it too even if you know better. But this takes deep wisdom and perhaps decades.

@MM1988 You are absolutely right. We live in a world of duality. We also live in a culture that is hundreds of years away from the entire society transcending duality. If everyone trandcended you would not be saying what you are saying or looking in the mirror. You are a product of your culture as am I. But notice this doesnt stop you from transcending...it just takes a ton more strength because you are going against the norm and that's going to alienate you. I'm not saying you have to live in a cave but there will be many who do not understand you and for that they will criticize you. This will take deep inner strength and deep inner wisdom but it can be done. Do not give up hope. Jesus was put up on a cross and tortured to death but this did not stop him. As far as your job...yes this is a tricky one. If you have a really high paying job and yet its stuck in delusion but its not that easy to get out what do you do? You live with Truth in silence until you can break away to something more authentic. You stay True to yourself. You plan and make moves..slow moves..to align yourself with Truth.

Honesty. Wow. It penetrates deep guys. Not just the big lies but the subtle lies we all tell. Leo once told me that my awakening was a lifetime in the making... Guess what - it was. I spent a lifetime lying. Lying about everything. It was pure ego..pure selfishness... that could be the fundamental fear of death...and i think that's the source of all anxiety and boredom as well...but that's another topic. My point in this post is that when i became truly authentic..to myself..to my fiancee...to my very being...that's when enlightenment found me. I was growing more conscious naturally without finding spirituality ever slowly before i found Leo...but he helped me put the final pieces in place...i meditated for 2 weeks completely sober and had a massive awakening.. One particular experience i was in my basement using the do nothing method and infinity just moved through me to the point where i screamed. I had several more where i became conscious that reality was a giant mind and others. But i wasn't able to go as deep as Leo because my ego stopped it cold. I still had massive mystical experiences where an energy force just completely gripped me showed me complete Truth. I can't even put into words but it's like everything aligned..BAM... and i was God. My point is if you want to awaken you need to start losing the selfishness. Start thinking about others not yourself and stop Lying. You will find that honesty will be the true key to unlocking enlightenment. It's way more nuanced than that but that is a huge start. Some of the other keys are finding your feminine side and sensitivity. I never cried. For decades i held everything inside. But just prior to awakening i started crying over things that i cared about. So there is a lot that goes into this but if you guys are running around doing selfish things and lying you can meditate all you want and it won't happen. I can just intuit that from my own experience. I think that's why it takes decades for us.. Not because we aren't doing the work but because we aren't ready. When you are ready AND you are doing the work it will find you. And when it does it will just absolutely floor you..forever. You will never be the same. So guys do not give up hope but you may need to give up your old selfish ego.

@Truth Addict thats pretty funny you use the metaphor of a video game because i actually had a saying similar to Leo's saying of jailbreaking your mind. "Enlightenment is like beating the game...you beat the game and unlocked its secrets. Now you get to play it over and over again but it will never be the same to you again" It really felt like i beat the game...pretty cool since i can't beat an actual video game for my life but i can beat life itself lol

We think we possess free will but do we really? The weightlifter benching 225 can drop the weights on his chest at any time and kill himself but does he? And if he does was that meant to be? Now let's move to ignorance and suffering. Often ignorance leads to deep suffering, but is this just the mind of the brilliant chess player thinking hundreds of moves ahead? Will that suffering one day lead to deep wisdom and enlightenment? Does that then mean the suffering was supposed to happen? Arrogance vs humility: An arrogant man hurts the feelings of many...but as the years pass he becomes more conscious and finds humility. Was the pain his victims felt part of a greater good? Now this man finds deep humility and wisdom and then saves the life of a man drowning...where if he did not go thru this stage he would not save the man? Now bring this concept to the scale of humanity....... Is their really free will or is free will an illusion?

@Scholar it does seem like he is...but he is just trying to find himself in this maze. And without deep wisdom much of reality can seem depressing and bad on the surface. I hope he finds happiness..

@Paul92 wow. Well..the only thing I'll say here is that i can be damn sure of one thing: You haven't had an actual mystical experience. If you did you wouldn't have this point of view anymore - that of the materialist paradigm. HELL - honestly if it didn't happen to me i wouldn't believe any of it EITHER! I was a materialist until i had several weeks of mystical experience after mediation and listening to Leo's enlightenment videos. I was NOT on pyschedelics mind you.. It completely blindsided me. So anyway telling you this means nothing. Unless you experience it for yourself you will continue to view the world the way you do. Now i am not saying you can't be happy relative to you as a materialist. You can be happy because you don't know what you don't know. And that's just fine. So good luck and i hope you find happiness. Heck maybe one day Truth will blindside you as well. The important stuff is you find wisdom and humility and selfessness..no matter the paradigm. Eventually we all end up in the same place

@Jack Walter Leon indeed relative to you..you do have free will or so it appears. But from God's perspective you do not. I was speaking of the universal perspective. But notice even within yourself - do you ever feel like you are being guided almost?
