  1. @mandyjw But we need the potassium so why don't we just merge the two into a bannapple? OK that was bad humor.
  2. @Truth Addict It's the nature of the ego - Truth is so counter intuitive to the Ego. I know you know this but just because someone is enlightened doesn't mean they do not have work they can be doing to evolve themselves through the stages to higher levels of consciousness. I think that includes everyone in the forum, unless Gandhi joined recently But I think everyone that is here means well, although sometimes the Ego slips in its own devilry here and there in the form of arrogance. One big thing is that people here who are enlightened, including myself, want so badly to be able to communicate it. But it just can't be, it really can't. We can only point to it. So when we try to get our maps out to point to the territory, people get offended as if they are being schooled and their ego's get hurt. So I believe there is a chapter/phase the Enlightened being must pass through in which he/she comes to the realization that "wow i have all this friggin' consciousness and no one to share it with, how do I process this and help teach others and give back to humanity in the best possible way, without coming off as arrogant or inauthentic " It's a difficult tightrope to walk Of course there are some people who literally come on here just to be Devils and they are usually quickly banned and gone pretty fast as they come on wanting to start non-duality wars.
  3. @Freakrik To me it's like you were looking for happiness out there in the "objective world" when really there is no objective world there is only the subjective. Thus this "happiness" you felt is but an illusion, and you felt it. This is your intuition nudging you to find Truth through spiritual practice which will give you true fulfillment and true happiness and peace. For discovering Truth for yourself will collapse the duality of authentic and inauthentic happiness that you have created in your mind.
  4. @Hima Izumi They're kidding themselves if they think in human form that there is no suffering. From the ego's perspective, suffering and non-suffering are dualities. Like i said, from God's perspective, the "no perspective" perspective, which is Being, all dualities collapse. There is no suffering, it is liberation. But being in a mystical state/non-dual state is not permanent until the idea of the physical body is gone. From the perspective of the ego there will be always some type of suffering while the idea of our physical body exists. But you will be much more conscious and will embrace all suffering and LOVE suffering as a fully enlightened being. You can't walk around in a permanent non-dual GOD mode state forever, that is = to NO YOU=DEATH
  5. @wavydude I think he's pointing out that it's relative to perspective. At least that's how I took it.
  6. @zeroISinfinity @Shin oh now this is really getting kinky..and darn i have to drive to work
  7. @Shin Uggh you have a point..unless ofcourse your using a banana to do the stabbing? Relativity again
  8. @Joker_Theory that is Suffering to the Infinite degree LOL...but still i would intuit that giving birth is worse
  9. @Vibivub do both. Music can really open up the chakras especially the heart chakra. Enlightenment will happen when it wants to so it won't deter you from a mystical experience.
  10. @zeroISinfinity morning Zero ready for another fun day?
  11. @zeroISinfinity indeed if your consciousnesses is raised enough you will be looking at the world thru a non-dual lens. Also with consciousness elevated you have a deeper understanding of suffering so although its there you have complete acceptance of it and can embrace it much more effortlessly. Doesn't mean it's not there. Of course from God's perspective all dualities collapse and suffering and non-suffering are united.
  12. @Ponder The answer is yes AND no, depending on perspective. That's the beauty of reality because it's an absolute relativity. in God mode there is no suffering. It is liberation. Return to the ego is return to suffering but your consciousness has gone thru the roof because of enlightenment. This is not going to end suffering or any of your silly addictions. That takes the ego some work. You didn't have these realizations with your enlightenment? At stage Coral i would think you would be conscious of this stuff.
  13. @zeroISinfinity we can only provide maps we cannot provide the territory..so let's put our maps away for now.
  14. @Lister 've had what you call mystical experiences. That's why I know they are not real --no IMO you haven't had mystical experiences otherwise you would know it's the ONLY thing that's real!
  15. @Lister capable and actually becoming conscious of awareness and that it is not happening within a brain are two different things, otherwise everyone would be an Idealist by now. You have your beliefs I respect them, but you are clinging to religion and not Absolute Truth. This Truth can be discovered if you do not confuse the map with the territory. It is Absolute (outside of Hinduism, Judaism, Christianity, Buddhism, etc) You seem to be stuck in the ideas of Hinduism and can't move past that because you aren't open minded enough right now. You want to turn Actualized into another religion which it is NOT. You can discover this for yourself.
  16. @zeroISinfinity He's saying that there is Awareness, and everything is happening inside Awareness. He's an Idealist, right Lister? I mean if you were a Materialist then everything would be happening inside a brain? The mind/Body problem. Is the Mind inside the brain/body, or is the body/brain inside the mind? not "the" mind but "a" mind, or "awareness" For you it's the latter - Am I right so far? I just wanna see where your paradigm, whatever the hell it is, shifts from ours.
  17. @Lister discriminating awareness from the objects appearing in it What do you think that is dude? LOL. You just made my own point.
  18. @Inliytened1 @Lister Still, if you can "experience" it even once in your life it is really something you can't describe with words. Most of the world still thinks everything is happening inside a brain, so that's what you Awaken to as well - you Awaken out of the Materialist Paradigm. You seem to be somewhere in between right now - need some direct experiences of your own.
  19. @Lister Nobody has ever made this state a permanent reality AGREED, as shown by my previous posts. True liberation is something other than passing states of oneness. ALSO AGREED It was liberation - but True liberation is Eternal Oneness. Still, if you can "experience" it even once in your life it is really something you can't describe with words. Most of the world still thinks everything is happening inside a brain, so that's what you Awaken to as well - you Awaken out of the Materialist Paradigm. You seem to be somewhere out there right now - need some direct experiences of your own.
  20. @Lister Lister, the Absolute is outside of time and space, you are confusing the memory of becoming the Absolute with the Absolute. You are right, these are just words and memories we speak of now. But we're pointing to something that you can become directly conscious of. For you when it is happening it is not an experience, it is outside of time and space. It's like you are mistaking the map for the territory and missing what is being pointed to here. In essence what you are saying is there is just a map and no territory, we're trying to tell you there is a territory, but it can't be communicated.
  21. @Preetom Your confusing things - Everything is happening within consciousness - you - me - this whole thing, our physical bodies - it's all happening within this universal field of consciousness. This universal field of consciousness is actually you. The true you, not the ego. When you have a non-dual experience, you become this field of consciousness, or Absolute Infinity. All dualities collapse, there is no physical body , there is just Oneness. I have had this experience, have you? Before you try to school me i would ask if you have become directly conscious of consciousness for yourself and your idea of enlightenment might change. What I am saying is that at some point you come back into your Ego - there is no escaping that until the physical body (which itself is an idea) dissolves. Then the idea of your ego which is an idea with the idea of your body dissolves permanently as well, and you are the Infinite.
  22. @Preetom But has the illusion of separate self completely vanished? When the illusion is really popped, there is no 'acting' enlightened anymore. It is enlightenment period. --That's death of the physical body dude. Or let me make that clearer - that IS a non-dual experience. A PERMANENT state of that is physical death.
  23. @Preetom That's all correct IMO, but then how can you say Leo is not enlightened when he has stated he has had non-dual experiences? You seem to be chasing yourself into a corner here...
