@Jkris its part of being in this finite form and dwelling in duality. It is reduced after awakening in many aspects and the more conscious one becomes pre and post awakening the less they will suffer because they are no longer slave to the ego. So one can attain a much more full state or awareness which is liberating. Ultimate liberation IMO is the full dissolution of the ego and the return to non-duality...nirvana.

Once you let it go you realize it no longer exists. Consciousness is a hell of a thing. It only exists in your direct experience.

@happysad Work on aligning yourself with Truth. Believe it or not one can do this without doing direct spiritual techniques. You are God in a finite form. But start being True to this finite form you are in. Demonstrate honesty, love and selflessness in your life. Take good care of this form you are in - get your nutrition in order, hit the gym. In other words begin purifying yourself of your defilements. Cleanup unhealthy addictions, etc etc. Aligning with Truth will improve your life in so many ways. Then - when the time is right for you, add the spiritial practices and it will all come together for you. Afterall, you are God - you just don't know it directly yet But you have an eternity to find out.

Mystical experiences cannot be grasped with language. And they cannot be grasped with the human, finite mind. Yet we still conceptualize the actuality of our Mystical experience after they have occured. What once was actual is now but a conceptual memory in the "brain". So in your best conceptual words please, if you will, describe what your mystical experience felt like. Note: we know Truth cannot be captured. We are simply taking what was actuality and describing it now as a concept.

@Farnaby you are here on this forum for a reason. It's your intuition. Do the work. We cannot do it for you But if you do the work you can discover Truth for yourself.

@Natasha So sorry to hear about your loss. i am sure he was a beautiful loving soul and seems so from the cute picture. The way i would cope is through tears of pure Love. And knowing that he still lives. He lives within you. He will live on forever in you. Take heart in that. I know this sounds like something out of the Lion King. But there is a lot of wisdom to be found from that movie. I balled watching it again in theaters But he lives within you.

@Farnaby You won't grasp it as a concept because you are a concept. You have to go beyond that. The finite cannot grasp the infinite. You must become Truth itself. You must become Infinite. You ARE Truth itself. That "thing" is you. But this will take an awakening.

It is true that from your perspective you can't directly confirm other perspectives - thats is part of the design of being limited. If you could you wouldn't be limited!!! As God you can confirm you are being all of them simultaneously.

No reality is paradoxical. From Gods perspective you imagine all. You are alone from that perspective. But God is all limited consciousness as well , simultaneously. Solipsism states only your limited perspective is real. The truth is that you are a partition of Consciousness, but other partitions exist. But as God you are being them all as well as your own. So its only Solipsism as God. Which isn't what Solipsism is according to the definition.

Correct up until the self reference problem. Be careful not to conflate formlessness with form. Only form can experience defilements. The formless has the self reference problem - pure isness cannot know itself - thus must then create form. Indeed they are One but broken down they are divided.

@Raptorsin7 you are very close. You have to become directly conscious that its not "your"awareness. That still implies a subject or an I. You fucking ARE awareness. And its nothing. Its nowhere. Its formless. You are the substrate of all of reality. That's what you ARE. And when that clicks it will be an epiphany thats so completely total that it will be a direct experience of Being simultaneously. You will become awareness itself. Otherwise you are still understanding it as a subject. This must collapse. It will happen for you - you are close but you are still probing it as a finite subject.

@Raptorsin7 gotchya. So what does your your understanding tell you in concept about no self? What does it tell you are in Truth? Notice that you realize that you can't identify yourself so you default to this feeling behind your eyes.

@pluto i see your points The thing is, not everyone can do it without pyschedelics. For some, meditation and yoga isn't going to be enough. The other thing is, finding Truth is serious business regardless. The realization of Oneness causes a psychotic break in which you are split between your Egos perspective and Gods perspective for a time. You will feel like you are going nuts. Ego death can cause serious ego backlash. This is not a path for the light of heart. If you want Truth you have to die for it, literally. People are warned here to do pyschedelics consciously and responsibly. People are warned if they have any type of mental disorders not to do them. People are warned that they will experience temporary insanity lingering between perspectives even not on pyschedelics. @khalifa sorry to hear you are going through this. I hope you feel normal soon
