Indeed...notice the definition...its a religious movement. To me that smells of a belief and not actuality. Actuality is isness itself and awakening through the collapse of the self via mysticism. Not through the ego realizing it. Once that happens you as the Godhead tap into Infinite intelligence and get a full hit on what reality is fundamentally. Thus these types of traps would be a non-issue! Im not saying that some neo-advaita teachers aren't fully awake but it really makes me suspicious...... -

From Wikipedia: Neo-Advaita, also called the Satsang-movement and Nondualism, is a New Religious Movement, emphasizing the direct recognition of the non-existence of the "I" or "ego," without the need of preparatory practice. -

Science and mysticism will one day merge into a type of meta science. The merger of science and mysticism will transcend today's science - because today's science only studies the content of reality. It doesn't take into account metaphysics and the study of reality itself - which is ultimate Truth. They're currently looking for a theory of everything - one equation that will bring everything together as One. But what they are missing is Truth itself. It's too radical for the average person to accept right now. But it was shown via quantum mechanics that there is no point in saying matter exists when one cannot measure both its position and velocity simultaneously. You're in a dream! He would go on if invited. I'm just saying society isn't ready anyway at a global level. -

@Raptorsin7 easy tiger it is totally logical for him to see it from his perspective -

@Llight i was the biggest atheist and materialist you could ever know. Probably more than you. I literally stumbled on spirituality while looking to beat an addiction. So when i discovered it was the real deal i was shocked and stunned. Take that for what its worth. -

But you are here on this forum eh? Which means there is a curiosity within you. Or intuition. -
Inliytened1 replied to Llight's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
You are assuming yourself is a human and not pure Consciousness. -
Inliytened1 replied to Llight's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Llight science is held within consciousness! The only way to discover this for yourself is to dive into it. Personality i love science - but ultimately there will be a merging of science and mysticism into something new. -
Inliytened1 replied to Llight's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
It wakes you up to a meta perspective (aka God) so that you are conscious that there is no brain - but that a brain, along with everything else, is held within consciousness. -
Seek and awaken to Truth. All questions will be answered.

If they are joking around about it that's cool. ")❤? but if they are seriously locked into it then that would inhibit they're own growth as God. -

He would be demonized like Galileo in his day. Its an existential bind that civilization is in. Only time will evolve us beyond. -

@Nahm @VeganAwake Personally i resonate (there is no me so i guess i shouldn't say this) with the guy from the 10th ox herding picture :)?❤ nothing needs to be said or done anymore - all is perfection. However if one wants to say something its not "spiritually incorrect" either. All is good to go!! -

You can attain enlightenment through suffering. And yes while there is no one to be enlightened - that's only evident afterwards. That's why its a paradox. Also it is really annoying to me the spiritual teachers that make language so strict that you can't say things like staying in the present moment. I think some teachers make things so strict it takes the fun out of Being because they are sooo hooked on only one facet - about duality being imaginary - that they can't even allow themselves to stop and smell the roses which they themselves created. -

Really need to awaken first then quantum mechanics all fits into place. Not the other way around.. Can't reach it through science. I know this has been stated dozens of times on the forum but its true. -
Inliytened1 replied to TDW1995's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
After full ego death and realization of one's true nature, the idea of the ego or you being a real physical entity dies permanently along with the materialist paradigm as it is seen through as imaginary. After that duality is just a playground. -
Inliytened1 replied to TDW1995's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Yes its paradoxical of course. If you are too brave you won't die. The ego has to stumble on it - or you need a strong pyschedelic that will overwhelm the ego. -
Inliytened1 replied to TDW1995's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
Whats interesting is this. You can fool the ego into dying once. But fooling it into dying again is a totally different thing. -
Inliytened1 replied to TDW1995's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@TDW1995 not overthinking it is best. As soon as you start to over analyze Being then you move farther away from it. Fear vs fearless is a duality and to reach non-duality you really gotta be as close to no mind as possible because it is the collapse of all duality. -

Thats how it happened for me as well. And i was doing meditation but it was kind of like just applying the finishing touches on something that was already in the making. But it seems like it can happen either way. Path or no path. Case in point Leo who had a passion for finding Truth and found it by any means possible. -
Inliytened1 replied to Endangered-EGO's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Endangered-EGO i think there is still more to go if you are still asking the question on whether the formless or pure void is God. There are still more realizations to be had through collapse of the ego. And one is not better than the other - form or formless. It is but the dance of Consciousness. Love your name @Endangered-EGO though - sounds like it sure is in danger hehe. -

This in itself may have helped. These things can sometimes run deep in the subconscious mind and eventually after beating it to death with, for example CBT like they use to treat OCD (just an example) the mind gets tired of it and realizes it has to let it go..so going through it experientially can in itself can be a healing process..
