The bottom line is: Forget the bottom line if you want Truth. You won't get there with logic or rationalism. Being itself is Truth. To reason whether its worth seeking enlightenment is to have gone too far. Hopefully that answers the question as to whether its worth pursuing. It's so worth pursuing that it negates the question. Reality is inherently paradoxical so throw reason out the window when trying to pursue it and forget that you are pursuing it. Heck forget that you are.

Pure infinite Love and intelligence. It wants to explore itself fully. It is alone so the only way it can know itself is through being itself thru itself and creating separation. I know you have heard all of this before but it is what it is...yes it has a choice but God gets bored too And it doesn't see hate and dumbness like you as a finite ego does. It Loves all of itself unconditionally.

It can make itself unconscious which it must create duality for yes. But what does that have to do with anything. Are you asking why does it do that?

@arlin you are conflating nothingness with meaningless. Reality is Infinite therefore it must be formless. But it is Infinitely loving and Infinitely intelligent. And infinitely Good. That is your truest nature. Your truest nature is also Oneness. So your ego and God are in fact One. You can have direct experience of this - i am not just regurgitating what another teacher has said - i have had direct experience / consciousness of it.

Its because consciousness is Infinite. Something infinite cannot have any form since it must contain any and all forms within it. So its substance is nothing but this is hard to grasp with the finite mind because how do you imagine something formless. But yet it exists

That's Infinity right now. It just is itself. It is everything. Everything. EVERYTHING. How can there be infinity? That's infinity right there. Why is there Infinity? That's Infinity. It loops back into itself. It has nowhere to go because it IS nowhere and nothing.

Its Infinite. You can't grasp it from the finite.

@Shaun good that is what you should be doing!! Come back to spirituality and mysticism in twenty or thirty years if you want to. It'll still be there it's not going anywhere.

Who is saying that? It is about getting the devilry out of the ego so that you can embody your true nature in its finite form. IMO unless you work on these things it will be much harder to awaken to yourself - even if you took 5-MEO. Then after awakening one can fall back into devilry so the work is just commencing.

@Aeris that's right. That's why the ego dissolves with a mystical experience of the Absolute in which you are pure Being. Back in the ego one has to strive to purify and embody. No one said it was easy.

@Strangeloop your true nature is completely selfless and formless. You have to dissolve your own selfishness to realize your true nature.

It could definitely cure it. I have OCD but it is very mild now. I realized directly that awakening is actually a cure as well - thought perhaps not permanent it drastically reduces symptoms - i beiieve it is elevated consciousness that cures it or reduces symptoms...as you align with Infinite Intelligence. My awakenings were without any pyschedelics but if they raise consciousness i can see how it would help.

@Dlavjr yeah it does sound like OCD. You have to train yourself to go meta on the thoughts. Be aware when a synthetic thought arises (in some circles obsessions are called synthetic thoughts) although truthfully all thoughts are synthetic. But be able to identify this as OCD and then just let the thoughts go. Notice that once you stop thinking these thoughts and think about something else it is like they never were thought. Like they never existed. Because they don't. It may take a lot of training and repetitiveness but this should help a lot. Don't allow the thoughts to make you feel bad or guilty either as they are illusory.

Maybe the word dream works better. This whole thing is a dream. You can wake up from it. You can realize that as God you are dreaming up everything and everyone - including you! You can break out of this dream just like your sleeping dreams and when you do you are like...HOLY FUCK. This means just like in your night time dreams everyone in the dream is you. God/You is dreaming it all and is simultaneously dreaming an infinite amount of dreams as each being in the main dream. You are one of them. So there are dreams within dreams.

@zeroISinfinity what is making you not be able to sleep - why is God realization causing you anxiety? These are the questions you need to answer.

@lukej great post - great points i have seen this in my own experience as well. Of course you can still teach spirituality after awakening but only to those already willing to learn that come to you. You shouldn't go to them or it will corrupt Truth and turn it into devilry. The snake will eat its own tail.

@Shaun i think you already know. He is alone from the Absolute perspective. That is non-dual. But when he posts this he is in duality. He is being the perspective of his finite ego.

Is everyone noticing the paradox here. There is no wrong or right answer. From the human egoic perspective if sex turns into an addiction where it is consuming your life then the ego has turned it into devilry. On the other hand It can be a healthy spiritual thing of Oneness as well.

I think that's the best answer you can give. He has asked this question a lot on here and i think he wants all of us to pacify him by telling him he has free will. He has to discover the Truth for himself.

@Schahin It is nuanced but this is exactly it. From your ego's perspective it appears you have free will. And as such since you are imagining you do, it becomes real for you. From the Absolute perspective Infinite consciousness is imagining all of this playing through every possible outcome although all outcomes already exist as raw potential. It's like a choose your own adventure but will you choose the one in which you wake up to yourself?

Yeah it is better than a heroin high so it is said.. (I have not done heroin but i have felt the bliss of Pure Being and it is awesome. You can feel it fill your entire body and also when it leaves. @Nahm maybe the term Kundalini is a write off - but the phenomena is real - i call it Being.
