@Fadl Jesus may have been exceptionally spiritually gifted and it happened spontaneously. Meditation and self inquiry works by quieting the egoic mind and also deconstructing the selfish self by an inquiry into what you are...Psychedelics could be tremendous tool to use as well.

@Fadl their ego was able to dissolve through selflessness not wanting powers for themselves. Jesus used healing for others and died for others.

@machiavelli if you truly wanted to be a Jesus and discover God it's not about having powers, it Is about the fact that he was ready to die for other's sins and did according to the story....experiencing God Consciousness is not egoic. It's about selflessness and Love. In fact to reach God levels of Consciousness with meditation you most likely will need to learn how to be selfless in your own life by putting the needs of others before your own even if that involves your own suffering. Especially so in fact...It requires that you be an honest person and a loving person. Now does the ego wanna do any of this? Haha you bet not embody Truth and Love in your own life - meditate - then take psychedelics if you want...

@QandC these are some of the highest teachings you can find anywhere honestly. These teachings are way ahead of where mankind is as a whole. The key is to validate them for yourself.

Not because they are you - because they are not you. God doesn't create others so you can discover oneness and say oh who gives a crap it's all me. No...no no It's actually if you truly put another before you - that is selflessness. That is how you discover Oneness.

Indeed That was a great answer by @WaveInTheOcean....but one thing I can say as well when speaking of what a human can do to become more aligned with Truth and Love is to become more selfless. Being more selfless is to put others first and attempt to alleviate the suffering of others - not yourself. To put others before yourself even if that means you incurr suffering...This is the key to it ALL. But the catch is it has to be true- it can't come from the ego. But that's why God creates the illusion of others in the first place - so that it can share its Love. So it can express selflessness in human form.

I wish I could do that. Have never been able to. They can be crystal clear but I am not conscious they are dreams until the moment of awakening.

@Hulia yeah I know what you are saying...my night time dreams are often very narrow and hazy and I only remember certain aspects. However I am acutely aware that they are real from within the context of them.. For you maybe its better to focus on the spiritual practices themselves and see where it takes you...self inquiry, no mind meditation, etc ..rather than trying to conceptualize reality being a dream. From your POV it makes no sense right now and rightly so.

If you were dreaming right now and you were lucid and telling someone in the dream they were inside a dream and they laughed, honestly how much time would you spend on the matter? If you tricked yourself into thinking its real maybe a lot I dunno..if you were bored...but ultimately you wouldn't waste much time on it haha.. love ya

@Hulia I have to create you first because it's entirely subjective. So you ARE creating me when it is imagined. But really it's all just Consciousness because Consciousness has to imagine it is a self first.

I have news for you. Everything you stated above - including karma, is all being imagined by you right now. And you are imagining you are on a forum talking to me. And what's even more twisted is I'm hallucinating myself and you and that you are imagining this . And when I do you are. You have no idea how deep this shit goes!

@Hulia welll remember the dream that is reality is being dreamt by Reality, or Infinity. That's why it feels so real - because imaginary IS real! And because it is Infinity it is reality. So the dream IS reality as there is nothing outside it. Except for you as Reality aka God. You can wake up from this though - you can step outside this dream and then realize "omfg..omfg...holy fuck!" And It's way more profound than that. when you wake up you will be bathed in your own Love until you ultimately return to dreaming.... It's not going to happen in a few minutes of closing your eyes. You need to do deep self inquiry into the nature of what you are because you have built up a lifetime of layers of the story of the dream and your place in it. Or maybe take psychedelics, I heard they work too

@BipolarGrowth nicely said but I don't 100% agree with the statement that a finite self cannot preserve goodness up to the human limit without it being super ego. I mean yes you will never be 100% selfless without accepting ABSOLUTELY everything...but then again the doing so would be, in the end, humanities undoing. (imo) ..humans are humans afterall.. I think when you have a society of all awakened beings I think it could flourish because all actions would be coming through the direct manifestation of the Godhead while still taking care to preserve survival. It is indeed, a delicate balance. Just my take. This is very advanced stuff

...And if you were in God Consciousness there would be no "world"..so In the "world" there is relative evil (devilry) and relative good...both ultimately collapse into the Absolute. But in the "world", if devilry ran rampant ultimately there could be no "world"..and the "world" is how God expresses Itself. After much suffering t would collapse into Love and start all over again. You could say that keeping the world free of devilry is selfish and you would be right Absolutely speaking. But that isn't applicable here....if doing this is reducing the suffering of another, it comes from a place of selflessness and not ego and thus a higher state of being.

Guys part of Absolute Goodness is relative goodness. If you see someone being raped in front of you If you can be fearless it needs to be stopped even if you are only able to see it it from your finite vantage point. It's the same reason we stopped Hitler.

Everything is You right now - total oneness. So there isn't any end goal of if I do this then I will be....you do good for its own sake. Because You are Goodness and Love.

God is experience without the self who experiences. Language is dualistic. And yes you can experience God. And it is not a belief. You can have mystical experiences that you can call glimpses prior to full God realization.

Paradoxically it is this belief that will keep you from the actual experience of God and God realization. This is why hardly anyone ever wakes up. On the other hand I do intuit that you have an open minded aspect to yourself as well or you probably wouldn't be here. I would just keep an open mind - don't get locked into anything Self inquiry type meditation is encouraged as well as no mind meditation. The path need not be psychedelics. It wasn't for me.

It's not ego that has that realization it's source as you called it. There is no small you in actuality. And then moment of realization is actuality or being.

I think you are getting a bad rap here brother...everything you are saying is correct from my own direct experience Your words are a good way to teach newcomers because they need to collapse thinking and thoughts in order for "it", what can't be spoken or thought to be. That said it is still OK to discuss awakening itself even if we are just pointing to it. What is left? What is left is still Mind. Not egoic thinking or thoughts by a self thinking about other. No, just pure Mind. Which is Infinity or God. Whatever we wish to try and call it really doesnt matter..The realization/being of Self. And it's of course beyond words or conceptualizing Just as in your post on samadhi. But yeah as far as what's left..that's IT. After all - Where is it going to go? Truth is indeed One. It has nowhere to go and in fact never went anywhere. Maybe you can describe your awakening but If you think you can't realize it then is not enlightenment- it isn't the ego that realizes it it is You/God. Love ya bro
