Oh Ok so that's where all the fuss is. Its all clear now.
-
That can also be flipped around to saying Israel's efforts are for the greater good as well. Getting into relative and absolutes now..so..yeah relatively speaking who's right? The horrors are terrible but in the end we know what it comes down to. Your favorite topic. Survival.

Can't be worse than being on the solipsist list

That would make a great video but I see flaws in his episode on how Everything is good and there is no evil because that fails to consider certain possibilities regarding what is in the mind of the person doing the acts. Not that evil exists or for that matter good but delusion exists and is not accounted for

Ok so we both then know what the true definiton of terrorism always has been. Your idea of how the West holds Terrorism can also be said to be subjective Terrorism is justified in the minds that do it but remember this fails to take into consideration that some people are just plain bad or deluded.. So they might not always do things for the greater good. Take Hitler. Germany was wronged yes but he had a greed for power that was unbinding. He wanted complete control of the world and his own Master race in charge. This is sick. It's not for the greater good. And yes as nuts as 911 was it was done by the minds who did it for their own greater good. However there was a level of delusion here because such acts only inflicted pain it didn't help a political cause.

This nullifies using the term at all then when referencing individuals that found states. Better to say they did things they aren't proud of to achieve a higher goal. Maybe you widened your perspective tonight too and stop with the hatred.
-
Yes I get it. Its all about perspective. US likes doing that too. Who the terrorist is depends on what perspective you are looking at it from. All of them have done "evil" of some sort but as you pointed out it comes down to degrees of that and also the context in which certain atrocities "happen". Of course here we are splitting the needle so I see where you are coming from. But relatively speaking we must still split that needle.

That's what it's all about. I know I have bias towards Israel but I never said i agreed with how they responded. They should have stopped long before they did. I knew the numbers were high but the children does sting. Yet other than that still support what they are doing. They wouldn't even have a state right now if they didn't - they would probably be wiped out. Call them bad guys, evil, Hitler, all that but they are a product of their environment as are you and me.
-
@Leo Gura @KarmadhiI didn't realize the percentage of children was that high. That is in fact really terrible.
-
Well you shouldn't accept what he says. Those numbers do not correlate with historical records and are disputable and subjective just as his calling the founder of your country a terrorist is. Yes over 700,000 were displaced but this was during the war in which allowed the state to be founded. As for casualties that number does not align with historical figures. I can tell you that to me this was a great man who founded Israel.

Holocaust crocodile tears? Classic. I'll remember that one next time I walk into the museum. I'm gonna cry me a river of Holocaust crocodile tears 😀 But no way on the 15k children - sorry..Claude said 200.

Honestly i think Iran only retaliated because they felt obligated to. It was a feeble counter strike. I honestly don't intuit that they want any part of what Israel and the US will be serving. So I think Israel doesn't really have to do anything of the sort.
-
But tbis doesn't mean Nazrallah didn't deserve what was coming to him.
-
Haha they sure are trying though everyone has a perspective it's all in good fun.
-
@royce for a minute i thought you wrote that. Lol. Silly me since you can barely finish a sentence properly. Well, I'll respond to him. Israel hasn't lost it's momentum. This is all propaganda. Right now it clearly has the upper hand.
-
Thats accurate. I noticed you left out Iraq but some could argue that too was good in the long run despite some of the reasons behind it turned out to be false. In the end it was still a rotten regime. But there were still negative consequences. Like in Germany after WW1 you had a very bitter Germany that came back ten times worse. So to me a foreign takeover, even with good intentions can end up backfiring. But not always as you point out so it shouldn't be ruled out completely. There are times when it will be warranted. The future cannot be fully predicted and the immediate threat at hand still needs to be addressed.
-
Haha. @PurpleTree i hope it doesn't come to that but it is what it is
-
Dude.. who attacked who here. Iran backed the attack on Israel. Just live with the fact that Israel can now stand up for itself and has a superpower behind it. You guys can cry all you want but it isn't you that sheds tears when entering a Holacaust museum. If you've even been to one I'd be surprised.
-
Yeah what country are you in?
-
You would think the US would be at the top of the list - interesting. I wonder why the women feel they have to look a certain way there.
-
@zazen live by the sword die by the sword. Maybe Hamas shouldn't have attacked Israel Oct 7.
