Let me enlighten you. Would you handle cancer patients the same way. -

Do you hear how you sound? You want to play the liberal yet you want to group criminals and those with mental disorders in the same group. -

Those prone to criminality, mental disorders and addiction? Lol. OK. Maybe take some advice from @enchanted -

And you're left how? Let's sweep away the homeless so we got that. Where exactly are you left? -

If it's a disease it's not the self. A disease is something other than the self. Its that which destroys the self. So I'm saying it is precisely not that. Look..the bottom line is you want to just erase a certain amount of the population. It's not cool. No matter how you spin it. -

First off you might want to make a distinction because there can be homelessness for many different reasons. Drugs is only one. But let's just get rid of them and make them go far far away. You're not helping the Trump movement. You're helping it. -

No. You clearly don't understand. It is a disease. Now..not all homeless are. In fact I'd wager that most of them are not. They're just wanting to use the system. But we can't ignore those really suffering from disease to those that are just lazy. We have to help the ones suffering. -

No one said he was about to mutilate himself. "Of course effective social programs based on empathy is the best way." Stick to that. You're much more likeable as a leftist. -

So you would rather your brother suffered in a closed off cell then give their state a poor reputation. OK. I get the whole detox thing. But you don't need prison for detox you just need an inpatient rehab. -

No they don't. They just want to invoke the military to force them away. In Trump's own words - they will exist but they will exist far far away. It's a fucked up world. If only one of his sons was touched by addiction he would see the world differently. Not wishing that but Trump has been very lucky. It only lasts so long. -

Fucking monsters. -
Someone needs to go in there and just make it a bipolar state. No one will do this so it lingers on. Now there is talk of Israel taking over Gaza completely but where are we. The US is weak for not stopping the war. They could have but Trump is too scared of retaliation for betraying it's ally. I sincerely hope that this conflict ends soon. If Israel needs to take Gaza then so be it. At this point whatever ends it. The bloodshed is too much.

I thought Pam's comment was despicable. A drug addict was brought back to life in the middle of families walking their dog. Get rid of them. That crushed me because these people are no different than you and me, just struggling with addiction. That was a horribly insensitive thing to say. And how can you say send them to prison? Send the homeless to prison? What are you talking about? You're on the left? Far from it bro. -

You told me so but you offered no better alternatives. -

@Breakingthewall to know what it is. -
Inliytened1 replied to Breakingthewall's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
That's not what Spirituality is about. True spirituality. It's about self reflection and inquiring into the nature of the self. The self. Don't go inquiring into all of reality just yet. Just inquire into the self. What you will find is that it was illusory. What you are describing is false spirituality which is already assuming things about the self or holding pre-beliefs. True spirituality is the unbiased inquiry into the self. Not even knowing what anything is yet but merely starting an inquiry. -

I would start caring because he wants to do this elsewhere as well. Not sure i like it. -

What would stop there from being this exact same thing completely inaccessible from you? Yes you are the one that first must imagine it. But if imagination IS reality (which it turns out is the case) then it remains a possibility within Infinity. What you are doing which you fail to see is actually limiting Infinity. It's extremely tricky. -

No apologies dude this is awesome. Glad you are open minded and leveraging the tools. The thing with Infinity of Gods is that it took me a long time to get. I thought exactly along the same lines as you are. Really what Inifnity of Gods means..and this is very advanced..is that there is a possibility and this possibility must exist - is that another Infinity can exist outside of you. Another reality. Nothing wrong with it. Just notice it. Just noticing it is what Infinity of Gods is really about. It doesn't mean it's a reality because only this is reality. It just means it is possible. It's very paradoxical. You will not be able to avoid running into paradox on your journey to Truth. But that's only because it is fundamental. -

I'm glad you had this realization. Most stuck in it never do. -

Woild you rather be the guy in the matrix who walked around never knowing it was a simulation or Neo? What must of that experience of waking up from the dream been like for him? Worth the price of admission I'd wager. -
Inliytened1 replied to Meeksauce's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
This is so true. Because you will continue to have insights and realizations as you go on. I used to think that once you're enlightened all your questions are answered. And in a sense they are..if you have the awakening of omniscience. But this doesn't mean that Consciousness or reality has nothing left to explore or realize. That is the true wonder of reality. For example there may be things that don't click until later.. Your mind is always expanding and you are getting more and more conscious as you age. At least for some of us. Some of us are so stuck in their own dogma that their minds can never grow. That is a terrible shame. -
Inliytened1 replied to Sempiternity's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
When you awaken you are in a much higher state of Consciousness to where things like flying or putting a million dollars in your bank account become meaningless. Does God fly around like a bird? No..he does this as a bird..God in its purest form is formless Infinite Being or awareness. But you can reach this even if you don't leave your current form. Your current form still remains through awakening. It is a samadhi not masamadhi. Your finite form remains even though you are in an Infinite state of Consciousness. This allows you to return to the dream. When you awaken permanently you will leave the current form behind and take some other finite form. -

Well said. -

Well..exactly. And what would be the point? To free one from suffering because there isn't one to suffer? That seems like a goal of the self.
