When there is only you there is no one else to lean on for help. We as egos do not want such responsibility. We want someone else to take care of all the hard stuff.

I sense a deep desire to place authority with others here.. it's fine to study and read other teachers and learn from them but don't get obsessed or hung up with who is the greatest or most conscious...this is because ultimately keep in mind you will need to take back your authority. All others are projections of your own mind. All others are you. This includes the most brilliant of sages and the highest most enlightened ones such as Jesus and the Buddha. They are all your own mind.

Got Covid last week just recovered. Yeah I was going out to bars all the time and doing whatever the fuck I wanted since getting the vaccine...didnt give a fuck..and well...last week it finally caught up to me and I got Covid...my immune system is normally second to none but I started getting symptoms after a night out of drinking heavily- which I might add will bring your immune system down to virtually non-existent..that's when the virus finally pounced..so..to sum up it was like the flu or a bad cold for me...I was never really out for the count but I had fever off and on and a bad cough..it wanted to get into my chest and almost did as at times I could feel it when taking deep breaths...overall I was still pretty much functional during the day but nights I needed to take some Tylenol to get to bed. Anyway let me tell you why you don't want this thing (besides feeling like death at times which should be enough).. You don't want it because there is a really good chance you will lose your smell and taste. This is no fun because you don't know if you are gonna get it back. I'm recovered now from the virus but my smell is greatly reduced...I have to stick my nose in something to smell it. And this affects your taste as well. My taste is not what it was before but it's OK...it's reduced. So..I expect to get my full smell and taste back but it's no guarantee. So guys do not make a mockery out of the virus even if you are young and strong...you don't wanna lose your senses. And this is coming from someone with a strong immune system..if you don't have a good immune system you should not be fucking with this thing at all..it will lay you down hard....wear a mask and keep your distance from people...avoid large crowds and bars. Personally now, I am not going to take my own advice because I have the antibodies. But trust me you don't wanna deal with this beast.

@Ananta that sounds like a horrific experience im so glad you are safe...and I'm sure things will get better and easier over time for you.

We've been through this before haven't we? When you sit down to play a video game do you try to win the game even though you know it's a game? Typically you do, and you imagine it's real...ta da! Spirituality is about transcending the game, so "you" won't get anything there but YOU will...and personal development after awakening is about knowing it's a game but still playing it to its fullest!!

This isn't directed at Leo...but actually once you get ripped and in shape maintaining it is the easy part. It's getting there in the first place that takes commitment and discipline..but once you are there it's not that bad to maintain. Once you realize that eating McDonald's ain't gonna get you anywhere, you will ultimately wanna change your ways to a healthy lifestyle anyway so you are gonna pretty much forgo the crap and have a clean diet anyway going forward..so this will become a lifestyle for ya regardless.

Are you talking about the small self, which is just an idea, or the Self/Selfless? Careful not to get confused. If you are talking about Infinity itself then of course. That is why it is Love. It has no beginning and no end. But you are imagining your small self - that which created this post. You are imagining it and imagining yourself as it so that it may appear you are looking through this self's eyes and you are imagining a sense of that self thus forgetting what you truly are. You couldn't make this a reality without forgetting. Forgetting is everything. And your doing it all right fucking now!

No mind (meaning no ego mind) and infinite Mind are the same. So there is really no argument here...we are talking about the same thing..Pure Being. There are no thoughts happening there, only Being.

@Endangered-EGO i think the thing is some people are not spiritually gifted enough to realize God without powerful psychedelics. I know it seemed I just contradicted myself in another post saying that there are no spiritually gifted people but I was speaking at the Absolute level I think what @ilan was saying was accurate. And there will be risks to any spiritual work because spirituality will erase the ego. And coming back is not guaranteed. So one needs be serious about spiritual work. If they are ready and are mentally stable and wish to take psychedelics after meditating for years- then they should do so but do so responsibly. All my awakenings happened after about 2 weeks of meditating, maybe less. So I feel if awakening hasn't happened after years of meditation then for you perhaps psychedelics can allow you to reach these states of consciousness that would never be possible for you via meditation

Well said..yes I am just pointing out that everything is being imagined by you as God. Even that other people are more spiritually gifted or have gone through multiple lives. That's something you as God are imagining. You are simply dreaming this entire reality and everything in it. Including yourself as a human and all other people. So it's a mind fuck. But you can say within the context of the dream that is all true..I was simply pointing to the meta level feel free to disagree this is just what I have become conscious of. Maybe you guys are sick of hearing about the meta level though ?

In the end the founding fathers of quantum mechanics went on, some of them, to become mystics. They realized that QM revealed that reality was made of nothing, or consciousness- which really freaked them out. Einstein did not want to admit it. But Bohr knew. He knew.

Indeed...it is absolutely astonishing. It's absolutely infinite in all dimensions..and infinitely intelligent..perhaps that's what makes it so beautiful. And it is you.

First off you sound amazingly meta aware of yourself and your own strengths and weaknesses. Going meta on yourself is the entire key to awakening and you seem to be very strong in that regard. But the issue is that you are trying to find an issue. As in, it's like you need to fill a void to feel complete or whole...as you said - something was broken- and you feel that enlightenment will give you that fix. Well..it will but it will not be a permanent solution...after enlightenment you will still find yourself working on deepening your awareness of reality and self. This will be a continual process so if you take psychedelics right now and you are shown a glimpse of awakening - it will not be sustainable. So my advice is don't over think in terms of seeking something to fulfill you. Just bask in the glory of Absolute Being as you have done with meditation. Continue that and perhaps pursue some additional interests that can keep you busy. I am also not discouraging you from taking them. Awakening via psychedelics may provide deep insights and also invigorate you- but just remember there will be an integration process afterwards and to ensure you take the time to integrate them. So ultimately the choice is yours on psychedelics. They can provide deep insights but you must remember that they can also shatter your entire reality- which perhaps is the point here - but only you know if you are ready for that

At the deepest levels there is only you. And so thus you grasp non-duality. Because you are God.

Everything you say about forgetting your birth and all of that stuff..dude it's good stuff and I hope you awaken some people on here...after all thats why you are here right? To hopefully help others? So I do not disagree...remember that. It is all of that but check this: 1. It's OK to talk about enlightenment after that fact...that's what you are doing right now right? 2. It not only is nothing. nothing is everything. Thus, infinity.

Are you saying that the ego has co-opted every bit of wisdom that there is ? Well heck yeah it did - how else could wisdom be "spread" ? And notice now..we are going deep. Because your right - the highest wisdom will never and can never be shared
