What you are struggling with is paradox. Be OK with it because God IS paradox. It can be nothing else because it is One. Thus choosing this reality must be paradoxical in nature but at the same God must pick SOME way reality is to unfold. That's OK. You're having a problem with this because it's God but God has no issue with it it's perfection and total. You do. It's actually you that is being biased! ? -

Interesting - if true I did not know that. But I find it hard to believe he would "promise" enlightenment. Charging is one thing. I don't charge but i have a diffeent job that takes care of my income. if it's life purpose he has to survive somehow. Its on the consumer to pay for teachings. The promising enlightenment though and milking someone dry isnt right if true.. -

Spirituality is dangerous to begin with. Taking teachings as beliefs, for example. One should be wary of any Spiritual teacher and trust in their direct experience. Yes, absorb what they teach but then put it to the test with your own Spiritual practices. I know you already know this but my point is you can't put the danger on the teacher. You have to do your own homework. I do think he gets wrapped up in no self to the point where it becomes word games and almost makes a mockery of true spirituality. I.e. towards the end his response to everything was there is no you.. from that aspect one can lose site of the forest from the trees and must be cautious. Ground everything in direct experience. Also what is dangerous about spirituality is awakening itself. While wonderful, you will also experience your own death. This can cause psychotic breaks, depression, etc on the return and subsequent ego backlash. Again not stuff you don't know. -

He's had awakenings. So yes he is the real deal. However sometimes his posts can be quite cryptic. Dangerous? I don't feel that from him. A good guy who means well. -

That's fine you won't fully let go if you don't want to. So don't stress about it. Enjoy the dream. The mind tends to run but that is why sometimes not knowing is better..in other words quiet the mind down and just enjoy this reality. One only awakens when one is ready. -
if he has nothing to hide then there is no reason to be up in arms.. I agree with @DocWatts this is perfectly fine for the FBI to do. Raidsa are conducted all of the time - its just that becuase its Trump the republicans are up in arms.

@no_name if you were to completely deconstruct your mind and ego you would awaken as God. The ego is very solidly put together though, like hard clay - in order to keep you surviving. It is a complex web. But you can also do it just by realizing you aren't the ego, (that the ego is just an idea) which can be done by self inquiry. You don't have to deconstruct if you just realize what you actually are. So this is kinda what @Carl-Richard said. As far as being reborn none of us have ever directly experienced that or rather we don't remember our last incarnation...otherwise we wouldn't be talking to you as our current incarnation. We would be another incarnation with no memory of the previous ones. Now if you could somehow forget your ego completely (awakening) and had a new ego injected then yes you could, even if you were in the same body it would be like you were reborn as a different person or ego. Everything is Mind. -

He is a classic example of one who has adopted these teachings as a belief. Namely the neo-advaita teachings. -

Happiness is found within. It is in your Being. You do not find happiness externally. However, the ego does not grasp this. It seeks happiness outside of itself and seeks to fulfill itself with something external that it feels it needs. -

The unnamed are the highest masters because they do not seek anything. So you can't even call them Masters. -
Inliytened1 replied to UpperMaster's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
There are many masters that remain unnamed. -

He's correct here. There are levels of consciousness. At the lowest level is the waking dream- in which you are a selfish bastard hung up on survival and "manifesting" things into existence. -

You got it bud But it's not that's its how it seems for mosr people... I'm telling you there is Absolutely no difference between appearance and reality. Absolutely so. Also you will find that ultimately all differences collapse - not just the difference between reality and imaginary
