  1. @Tim R wow..it's so obvious to AI..yet us humans just don't get it.
  2. Yeah...and as another mentioned Alan Watts. You can be a mystic and still have addictions. It comes down to whether the mystic desires to overcome their addiction or not. Because they are totally self aware and have the ability to. To me the most pristine and blissful state is the sober state...just resting in Being one can bliss out far greater than the euphoria you can experience on alcohol- without the come down or damaging effects alcohol will ultimately have on the body. So it's a no-brainer. It surprises me that someone as wise as Alan Watts would still allow himself to be a slave to a drug. But perhaps there was a hole somewhere within him that he used alcohol to fill and did not have the desire to overcome his addiction. I don't know..but enlightenment itself can liberate one from the need to do this - so again, surprising to see guys like this not overcome their addiction. But then, once you have transcended death you may just not care about survival anymore. He may have just lived out his days precisely as he wanted to.
  3. Thanks I was too! Yes I do agree we should have the choice..
  4. It's your life dude. My ex wife just got it and got through it with a cough. No vaccine...But a lot are not so lucky
  5. @Johnny Galt there's always going to be a small number of people who have complications due to the vaccine. but the risk of not taking it are far greater...if you are over 40..and not in perfect health. (Over weight, underlying conditions, weak immune system, etc). You are a sitting duck for this thing to kill you... And even if you are young and healthy I would still get it.
  6. @Endangered-EGO it is certainly not a hoax..I went through it recently. Stop the nonsense or you will be banned. As for the vaccine...you can still get Covid even if you are vaccinated. The vaccine will protect you from serious illness and death.
  7. @impulse9 well, one of the things that I have found is that selfishness is the cause of our suffering...the more selfless one can be, and the more honest, the more one shall align with their True Self. The more selfish, the farther away. And selfishness stems from ego...now, one does need some degree of this to merely stay alive..that's the existential bind we are in. But yes I do feel that some of us are more spiritually "in tune" with oneness than others...this doesn't make the person "better" in anyway of course but I do see now that you are not using the word power from an egoic standpoint.
  8. @impulse9 well, Oneness is it's own end.
  9. No worries.. well, I don't feel that's personal power or that it will enlighten you..it is the Oneness and it is Being. Being one with the grapefruit. You ARE it and it is you. But that is just Being.
  10. @impulse9 that's all well and good..seems like a confidence booster to me.. but it's not gonna enlighten ya. And giving me other people's quotes isn't really that impressive to me, sorry. What do you think on the matter?
  11. Power does not enlighten anyone because there isn't an ego or a spiritual master to be enlightened. It is the realization of no self. Yes it is true that there is the dissolution of the self, but it is not accessed via any type of power...you have a good imagination though, I grant you that.
  12. @Bob Seeker so now the question is what about you? Where does your path lead?
  13. Your limiting the unlimited to doing one thing and not another
  14. Yes that's very true come to think about it. I believe he spent countless hours on retreats and things of that nature. And so he was already primed and ready when he took psychedelics.
  15. Here we go again.... Yes, you can awaken after two weeks of meditation...if it is time to awake. That has been my own path and why I'm on this forum. I knew nothing of spirituality before stumbling on these videos and began self inquiry and other meditation practices after watching (and sometimes during) and wham. Total kundalini awakening...In Oct of 2018 my life was changed forever. However I was 48 at the time and much older than most of you are now.. @taotemu you are one of the few here my age... The problem, guys, is this. I have been on this forum for a few years now and I hardly see anyone awakening like that. Why is that? Maybe there is some Truth to being spirituality gifted...or maybe it's something else..suffering..level of consciousness...youth....but I just don't see it happening for most. Now come to think of it I see more of you guys having awakenings on psychedelics but even those seem to be far and few. I've no doubt that Leo has had profound awakenings from psychedelics....but just because he has reached the Godhead via psychedelics in 15 minutes doesn't mean others will have the same level of success....however it does seem like ones chances might be better going that route if they have been meditating for years already and have not had a mystical experience. So I would just drop any bias either way and use both methods as tools. That's it. When you are ready for awakening either tool could be a trigger. Or it can be spontaneous.
  16. Heck. You made me smile...and as I said, you stand at the precipice.
  17. @taotemu what it seems to me is that right now you are not yet conscious or even open to the possibility that reality is absolutely groundless. To be one or Infinite is to be absolutely groundless. It seems you still believe there is some underlying objective reality or some ground somewhere. That there is some default. There is not. If you can forgo this there is a really good chance you will realize the Absolute. But right now, when you say "drugged state" notice you are assuming aome default state or ground.
  18. You are obviously a very intelligent individual with a strong intuition. We just want you to respect this work. Respect the substances you are taking and act with responsibility. Life is extremely fragile and can change on a dime. It seems you do have an understanding of this because you have been through your share of trials and tribulations in your young life. If this substance has alleviated your suffering to some degree...this will be short term unless you Integrate the insights and experience into your daily life. That is what separates the men from the boys.
  19. @Leo Gura oh fuck. It's the dynamic duo. @EntheogenTruthSeeker dude if you want to warn everyone away from Salvia then why do you feel the need to post about it here....it seems all this post is is an attention getter and you have not awakened from this substance. If it has helped diminish the symptoms of any mental disorders you have had then great..in some fashion then it has brought you closer to Truth...but obviously this is not good for the general public who do not suffer from such disorders...thus why post this at all?
  20. Good work! However if you are asking us if it was a genuine insight then it wasn't enlightenment...but you are on the right track self inquiry is a very powerful tool.
  21. God is You, but you are not God. You have separated yourself from yourself so that you have the option to pray to yourself!!! Right now you are in a limited state of consciousness as an ego...what you truly are is Infinite..it has no form or self. It is Infinity. So by all means you in a limited or finite state can then hold communications with yourself...or appeal to yourself as a higher power..or get faith from yourself. That is the whole point of the apparent separation! Haha..You can do this just as easily as you are communicating with me right now - as I am a projection of your mind appearing separate
  22. Yes...the realization of Absolute Truth is prior to psychedelics or meditation..it is Pure Consciousness...it is Truth itself without the ego co-opting or doubting. Therefore they cannot be a doubting of Truth because it is itself. Now on the return of the ego the ego is the one that then denies Truth or tries to convince itself that it was delusion - because if it does not do this then the ego, which in fact is the illusion, cannot exist. So it will conjure up all kinds of doubt about Truth. This can be the case after a sober awakening too. The ego wants no part of it. Now having visuals and other things on psychedelics is a separate thing..that is not the realization of Truth..and the point about hallucination is that everything is a hallucination...your experience right now is a hallucination.
  23. If you are asking that means take a break and come back later. Focus on personal development.
