  1. That was the point I was trying to point out. But the resources thing is an issue. If we imprisoned everyone it would put more of a strain on us taxpayers too.
  2. Because the orange population expects "justice". So let's give em some. But let's make him rot his mind in a cell. Oh I see turquoise' argument now - he could actually enjoy his life there. Read books. Gain an education....awaken. yeah. But let me throw Coral at ya. If he's dead he ain't suffering. If u want justice the old fashioned way slice his eyeballs out and remove the tongue. Then toss him in a cell with no windows for the rest of his days.
  3. If he's dead is he going to suffer for killing many others or is someone else just happy that justice was served. What is justice is relative is it not? Justice can also be considered not allowing him to hurt others by imprisonment. This would also humiliate him. If you kill him he isn't around to reap what he sowed.
  4. @Leo GuraWhy would you put him to death? For vengeance? Or to save resources? It's not a question for green this goes far beyond green. What good would executing them be other than the desire to make someone feel better? Now - the question is- should one play God to make another human feel better? And in fact this won't make them feel whole again it is just piling one wrong on top of another. That is the highest understanding.
  5. So your system is purely based on what's better for the economy?
  6. That's precisely whar Coral would say. I would expect no less.
  7. The real question is what is Coral? Leo is Coral. As am I. Yet we still have shades of all previous stages. There is compassion but ultimately there is reality.
  8. Shall I lock? Yellow Indeed has spoken. Nothing more needs be said.
  9. Thats right but the question is why are you not in favor? It shouldn't be just because someone could be innocent. It should be because it's wrong at a high level. Freeing up resources is a very low consciousness reason. You could make the argument for yellow bring in favor of that because it sees society has no other option. But it's weak. It really is.
  10. If they are guilty. Let's say the guy raped and murdered your daughter and you saw him do it. He was arrested and charged. Are you in favor of putting him to death then?
  11. It doesn't matter if they are innocent or not again that's a separate issue. Let's assume they did it. What is your view then, if they did it?
  12. Of course not. And if Leo had to look at it deeper I'm sure he would agree. Saving resources is a very red thing. If it really came down to survival fine- we do what we have to do. But once beyond that no
  13. That's not what we are concerned with here. The question was would yellow back this. You are sounding extremely narrow minded with this approach. We are looking at the higher meaning of what putting someone to death or not is.
  14. Dude most of the people locked up are guilty. The falsely accused are far and few between. Furthermore that's a completely separate discussion.
  15. Death does nothing. If you want to do it to free up prison beds fine. But otherwise it accomplishes zilch. It doesn't make the families feel whole again. Nothing can other than forgiveness. Which is Love. Leo think deeper here.
  16. Love it. Yeah. They are a figment of your imagination that's why they seem clueless. Because you have designed the dream or the game so that others are clueless - otherwise it would be spoiled way too soon. That's why the dream appears so "real". It's the ultimate mind fuck that you are dreaming right now. If it wasn't then reality couldn't be what it is.
  17. There are certain people who are lost beyond being found. They are a danger to society. If we can afford to keep them locked up then I prefer that over ending their lives. But ending there lives is nothing more than trying to bring our own human form of justice to somehow appease the victim's family. Yet most times the victim's family say something along the lines of "I thought this would bring me peace. I thought this would right the wrong. I thought this would make me feel whole again. " it doesn't. Forgiveness does but this is very hard to do simply because we cannot see oneness.
  18. This is incorrect. I suggest you do meditation to assist in you righting this wrong. You are stuck up the ass of guys like Jim Newman who is not awake and have missed enlightenment due to idolization and parroting. Not sure why Leo likes keeping you around but if you keep up the neo advaita garbage you will be kicked out.
  19. Its not. You don't need to do anything physical that is the point of meditation. You can dissolve physical form through mentalism. All physicality is held within the mind.
  20. No - it doesn't. This because the present moment which is what you are, is the only Truth. You are Truth and you are Now. Everything else is imagination. That is why we say direct experience is King. It doesn't mean we can't imagine we will be our mother someday - but that's what it is - imagination. The only thing true right now is right now. You are God lost in a dream of being human.
  21. Lol. I don't know I consider it both a blessing and a curse - but thank you sir. Here's why - God gave me the genes to live a ripe old age and get very wise - although sometimes my youthful appearance makes the temptation to not act my age very strong
  22. Boom. We have a winner. Though easier said than done if you feel you have been dealt a bad hand in life and obviously there is some of that here. Bottom line is he has to start appreciating the good in life and stop harping on the negative. The irony is these things are relative - and a lot of that has to do with our unconscious culture. We have an idea in our head about what perfection is - and a lot of that was bestowed on us from a very early age. But in Truth you will not find perfection here and that is by God's design. Gods wish here is to see the beauty and love in Imperfection. And he has yet to see that. Bottom line - Be happy with yourself - and don't beat yourself up bud. This will come in time. Heck I'm in my fifties and I still struggle with it.
  23. What is it about the character you are playing now that you don't like? If you liked everything about this character would your view on God be different. I.e. if you were 6"2, handsome, muscular and highly intelligent with no illnesses either mental or physical. Would you still be saying the same things?
