Inliytened1 replied to Tyler Durden's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Tyler Durden to me it seems your conflating the Absolute with the relative. Its as if you are lucid in a dream and then worrying that one of the dream characters isn't real.. For example..Absolutely speaking this is a dream- outside of your direct experience or direct consciousness, nothing exists. There is nothing independent of consciousness. But while in the dream you don't think of it that way because your are within the dream and staying within that context. The dream creates the illusion of an objective reality. So staying within the context of the dream, your friend DID take a walk. Your parents ARE in their house right now watching TV..etc etc. -

Think of it more as Infinity being itself. But unless this is all true directly for you at the level of Being - then its just a nice story. You would want to conduct your own investigation into whether or not any of this is true. Self inquiry meditation is a good starting place. -

When you dream at night do others have independent thought? What we are saying is this waking dream is no different than your night time dreams. It's just Consciousness or Infinity. There's not even a you with a brain that has thought. You don't "have Consciousness" Consciousness has you -

You do awaken then go back to sleep ? but then you are lucid... -

Yeah - you play a video game despite knowing it's a game..actually you play because it's a game. Rather ingenious isn't it? -

Time is an illusion as are all points of view. They are part of the dream. -
Inliytened1 replied to 8Ball's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@8Ball first off..Leo is a pioneer..that's what he does full time while most of us have normal jobs...I probably wouldn't even have discovered true spirituality if I didn't one day stumble on one of his videos on addiction which ultimately led me to the metaphysical material. Of course at the deepest level Leo is a figment of your own imagination as God as are all beings- (including yourself) but that comes much later. That said..if one actually does the practices and keeps an open mind..without bias towards anything. (And realize that this is not about Leo) .they can actually discover Truth for themselves. .they can actually directly verify the various facets of awakening that are taught on this channel. To your specific comment on infinity, for example i myself, via meditation, have become directly conscious that reality is Absolute Infinity. Meaning it's One which is the same as Unlimited -which = Consciousness It was shocking and one hell of a realization/awakening. That was long before I joined the forum, which came much later. You gotta remember too that Leo read hundreds of books and spent thousands of hours pioneering and trying to wrap his mind around reality. He was an atheist like many of us, and, yes, a materialist like many of us. Everyone has to start somewhere and we all are products of our culture. Anyway, all of that said there are people on the forum that aren't serious about the work - or, they take stuff on as belief without doing the work. This stuff is going to happen and there isn't much we can do about it other than to tell people about the dangers of doing this. Most of his followers are younger and honestly are more at the age where they should be doing personal development and ego development rather than deconstructing the ego and spirituality but that's a topic for another day. -
Yes I said 4 or 5 it's more like 7 or 8. Even a female bodybuilder died. Edit - just read that Victor's death may have been misinformation and he is alive and well

There's been at least 4-5 bodybuilders die this year...The latest, sadly, was Shawn Rhoden who won the Olympia in 2018 or so...he was 46. Right before him was George Peterson, who was an active Pro getting ready for the Olympia...and several others (John Meadows, Phil Hernon) before that..it seems all heart attacks. Better just to stay natural and have longevity.

Everything is Mind. You got a glimpse of that. -

You are the Infinite Mind. There is nothing outside of you as God. -
Inliytened1 replied to Naol's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
@Naol @Naol great job!!!! You have definitely got a glimpse of God. But you are not yet ready to fully awaken as God. That is why the ego is still so strong. That is OK. Just means you still have a life to live! Psychedelics will give you a glimpse of non-duality and God and can provide that very fast before you are ready to integrate such realizations. Take ample time to digest and integrate what you saw. Don't worry about not realizing Love or Infinity that will come in time. Do not worry about going back to finite form either ..that is the form you as God have chosen so thus it is imperfect precisely because you have made it so. So just learn to love yourself the way you are first. -

You'll never access God Consciousness if you reduce everything to statistics. -

It matters not. That is Absolute Love. But ultimately you will not strike it down because the love for other beings is the love for yourself as God..and you will no longer care about your own survival as a finite self...the only reason you would ever take action to strike it down is to protect your finite self...and God understands this too is Absolute Love. God understands that selfishness is Absolute Love. That is the highest understanding -

This is not depersonalization. Depersonalization is an actual loss of the sense of self. It is enlightenment in that your identity with the self - the false self, is lost. Yet at the same time it is not enlightenment in that identity with awareness itself is not realized. -

It's you imagining me imagining you. It's you looking into your own mirror. Now replace you with me and you have the cancelation of all separation. Now - all of this is conceptual. Become it. -
Inliytened1 replied to Gennadiy1981's topic in Spirituality, Consciousness, Awakening, Mysticism, Meditation, God
You created various tools which function as triggers to mystical states of consciousness. Meditation is one such tool. Psychedelics are another. But before such triggers could have any effect one needs to open their mind and rid themselves of bias towards what they belive is the nature of reality. -
Well for example- OCD - which is an anxiety based disorder stems from a lack of certainty. Doubt infects EVERYTHING...to the point where you can't be sure of anything. How do you even know what's true? They call it the doubt disorder. But if you had total certainty (omniscience) how could there be any anxiety about anything as you would already know the outcome of EVERYTHING. You would know everything WITHOUT a doubt. You would even know the details of your own death. You would be Infinite. Anxiety ultimately stems from fear..fear that something "bad" may happen to you negatively impacting your own survival. The stronger your need for survival the stronger your anxiety may be because even little things could directly impact your sense of well being. But if you knew how every detail of your life would play out including the moment of your own death what fear could you possibly still have at that point? You would be conscious that you are God and that death IS Love. Anyway I suggest when you start getting anxious..just be OK with that. Be OK with your own finitude. Sit and be with it and embrace it as a part of you. Just let it pass and it will.

I don't know about psychedelics but from what I have learned the importance of suffering is often underestimated when it comes to spirituality and awakening to the Absolute. It's deeper than just pain or physical suffering..it is deep suffering from selfishness that can grow you. The more one suffers from their own selfishness the more it tears away layers of the ego that may be untrue - meaning selfishness and lacking in integrity. This ultimately aligns one more with Truth as one becomes more honest and selfless. Truth is not just handed to you - the cost is one's survival. It doesn't appear this pertains to your question though- but it may offer some value- and I will ask you.. has the suffering you experienced on trips grown you in any way or made you a better person? So perhaps for the next trip there would be less suffering? -

Yes - it's the ego that wants to react...but if you can go meta you realize that it means absolutely nothing in the big picture..it's only the ego that is giving it meaning. I can go meta now and see that I didn't need to react to this post ?
